Altefähr on the sunny island of Rügen


Our 2016 built house LA MER offers you the ideal place for an active and / or passive holiday. LA MER is part of the Ferienhauspark Sonnengarten.


Our semi-detached house is 72 square meters and can accommodate six people. The house has a large living and dining area, two separate bedrooms, and a bedroom in the attic, bathroom with shower, sun terrace and is modern-functional and furnished with great attention to detail.


Altefähr has always been the gateway to the island of Rügen and is located on Strelasund opposite the venerable Hanseatic City Stralsund. The panoramic view from Altefähr to Stralsund alone is worth the trip.


Altefähr is a small, quiet, idyllic and tranquil place that invites you to relax.


From the house is the child-friendly bathing beach with playground and plenty of space for digging only five minutes walk away.


At the port you can watch boats or stab themselves in the lake. Whether with your own or rented boat.


Anglers can pursue their hobby all year round, but other major sporting events (eg., The Sundschwimmen, Rügen Bridge run, etc.) invite you to join in or watch.


Altefähr is the ideal starting point for swimming, fishing, surfing, hiking, to make tours by bike (the house is located directly on the Rügen-Rundweg / Baltic Sea Cycle Route), boat or boat trips.
A bicycle is available to guests free of charge. You can safely store your bicycles in the lockable shed.  
For minor repairs, there is a factory / repair kit and an air pump available.


Varied offers such as the forest climbing ropes course a few minutes walk from the house, or the Ozeanum and the Maritime Museum in Stralsund, etc. offer plenty of variety for your stay.

- Final cleaning: once per object costs in the amount of 60 EUR (compulsory).
- Towels: to rent once per person for 8 EUR (optional).
- Bed linen: to rent once per person for 12 EUR (optional).
- Internet: per object and day included in the price.
- Fireplace Fireplace: included in the price per object per day.
- Parking: per object and day included in the price.
- Electricity: included in the price per object per day.
- Local tax / tourist tax: per person and day costs of 1. 2 EUR (compulsory).
