Welcome to 306 East Arctic, a 6 Bedroom/4 Bathroom home that has been remodeled and updated this Spring 2023. This home accommodates 12 guests and is one of our best deals on Folly Beach! It is 2.5 blocks from Center Street and is directly across the street from the ocean!
This home (rented as one unit) is a duplex with separate entrances that are only accessed from outside and boasts private upstairs and downstairs living spaces; each with their own spacious fully equipped kitchens, living areas and 2 full baths. You will also enjoy the private screened porch and deck upstairs as well as the direct beach access just across the street 3 lots down. There is also fully fenced in backyard with fire pit. Bring your pets (with approval), come stay and see all that this wonderful home has to offer for yourself!
Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a laid-back, golf-cart-friendly community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping, water activities, and water tours. Parking for this home is the grassy driveway area on the East Ashley side of the property and can accommodate 3/4 standard vehicles or a small boat and trailer (depending upon the size). There is a double gate on that side as well, but please do not park in the backyard as that is where the septic field is located and the weight of the vehicles can cause major damage; this is for emergency access only.
We do not provide beach equipment, but anything available at the property is yours to use.
Pets considered: All pets must be approved by our office before you arrive. Upon approval there is a $150 (plus tax) per pet nonrefundable pet fee that is due before you arrive. If not already on your reservation, it will be added. Once this is done and the fee paid, you will be all set to bring your pet with you (2 pet max, no more than 60 lbs. each, no puppies under 1 year old, no cats). Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are subject to approval and fees prior to arrival.

Stayed her to celebrate birthdays, new grandson and med school graduation! The house layout was great. 3 bedrooms up with. Kictchen, sitting area and great porches and three bedrooms downstairs also with full kitchen, sitting areas and patios. Perfect for younger and older family members!!!!

The location was great but the toilets, showers and sinks were all clogged and ran really slow. The floors were also really dirty. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay. Very spacious. However, there is no way to get to the second floor from inside.

This house is as advertised, plenty of space and close to town. Everyone could easily walk to town or the beach at their own pace. The firepit was a great addition since the weather was a bit chilly. The two separate units were nice for privacy within our group. The only bummer was that you have to refill your own propane tank (ours was empty on arrival) and ask for a reimbursement. So, like the past guest, we didn't refill. Would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay except for a few bumps. There is no outside light at the front of the house where you have to enter. My daughter tripped over a large flower pot because it was so dark. Luckily she was not injured. I purchased a camping lather the next day to put out at night so we could see to go in the front. The back entrance light is very dim so if we came in the back I moved the lantern to the back. This issue should be addressed. The description of the bedding is misleading because the laundry company told me not to include the mattress covers with the sheets and spreads. I understood these were also cleaned after each departure.

This house was perfect for our group, it was nice to have the separation of the two levels for people who needed their own space, but also great to have enough space to all hang together on one level. Just steps to the beach access and walkable to Center Street.

Enjoyed our rental very much! Clean and well equipped ! ( a few more coffee mugs would have been nice to have but we made due!) we had construction equipment move in early next door our last morning unfortunately that woke the household which was unfortunate but everything else was great! We appreciated the late check out for our flights that day! Thank you!

everything was clean and in place when we arrived. It was easy to get the grandchildren to the beach for sand fun. The weather was very good for a January (60s)

Excellent home with plenty of space for a large family to gather. The location cannot be beat - 100 yds to the beach and a short walk to many restaurants. The communication was great and we will definitely return.

House was great for our 10-person group! It was so close to the beach, which was magnificent. The rooms, from kitchen to dining to bedrooms, were all really nice (though maybe could use some sprucing downstairs). Downstairs got a little humid and the A/C was a little tough to figure out. The outdoor staircase wasn't ideal for the rainy days, but overall such a pleasure. Would recommend.

Our family had a great time at this location! The house was set up nicely with the two levels since we had several groups of people with us. I do wish that the levels were connected internally, but it was still nice to be able to split up. We had some trouble with the toilet running and AC leaking, but they sent someone out right away to get it fixed, so that was nice! We loved the front porch and spent a lot of time out there in the evenings. The location is great also! We rented a golf cart for convenience but there are a lot of things that are a short walking distance away. The only feedback I have is that the doors upstairs should be updated. They didn't close correctly from outside of the bedrooms and this was tricky when I had little ones to put to bed early. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would come back!

The house was very spacious. The kitchens both upstairs and down stairs needed to be organized as there were hardly any of the stuff needed for a meal downstairs. The downstairs floors could also use a deep clean. We all enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

We rented this place during our wedding weekend and comfortably slept 6 couples all with their own space and beds. It was super clean, a perfect location close to everything, and we would definitely rent this place again!

This house is perfect if you need room for a large family close to the beach. The house was clean and the management was helpful when we had issues. It was a short walk to the beach and the double kitchen was amazing. Would stay here again if we ever venture back to Folly Beach!

This property was great for accommodating our group of 12 for the weekend. The upstairs and downstairs are separate parts of the house each with their own kitchens, bathrooms, etc which worked out well for our group. The location could not be better! 2 blocks from the beach and a 5 minute walk to the bars/restaurants. Thanks for a great stay!

week at the beach
The back yard grass/weeds need to be cut. they effected the enjoyment of the yard. Parking on the back side of the property
created problems with the beach crowd blocking in our cars.
the island parking patrol also ticked all three vehicles for not
parking correctly, even though this was a resident parking area. we did resolve the issue and had the tickets removed, however this was not a pleasant way to spend a vac day.

Wonderful stay in winter!
Property management was excellent. The home essentially is two distinct living areas each with a nice kitchen. Checknin was easy. Location was perfect for us and a very short walk to public access to beach.

Great location with easy access to beach and restaurants/shops. Property as described. Our only issue was downs stairs unit had a musty odor and one of the AC units was leaking. Other than that we had a great time and would rent again..
