The owners have a well organized vacation rental. They are courteous and are available for any questions or concerns. The rental is located in a private/quiet area but not far from essential amenities (short drive 3-5 kms). We’ll stay there again in the future.

My wife and I stayed here while our daughter played in the Open B Ringette Tournament at the Servus arena which was only about 5 minutes away. Joe was excellent at communication and helped us out when we needed assistance. As others have commented, there is a sofa bed although it is better suited for younger children. With only 1 bathroom in the bedroom the unit is best suited for couples and families. The suite has a reasonably good stock of common cooking supplies which was nice. Really enjoyed out time here. The surrounding area was quite quiet.

Joe & Liz’s place was just what we needed. Clean, spacious, private. They were great giving suggestions for our free day.
St Albert Botanical Garden is within walking distance and beautiful! Fort Edmonton Park was worth the drive, and well done, especially the Indigenous People Experience.
We enjoyed walking their neighborhood to unlink our bones after some long days of driving. Their kitchen had everything we needed. Even local cookbooks that were fun to peruse.

Friendly hosts in a nice quiet residential area. Only bathroom is off the main bedroom so perhaps not suited for using the sofa bed for anyone except immediate family. Host even provided secure storage for our bicycles. Did not feel like a basement apartment due to full door and patio door walkout to patio deck sloping away from home. Multiple walking trails in the immediate area. Especially enjoyed the stroll through the local botanical garden. Easy access to major routes in and around the city.

An excellent stay!
This property was a real delight to stay at. It is in a quiet neighborhood and the home has a walkout basement which is where the one and only private entrance is located. The backyard is a peaceful park-like setting with beautiful flowers, lots of open space, and patio furniture to enjoy. It feels larger inside than its stated square footage. The owners were wonderful to deal with and they also provided us with helpful advice on attractions in and around the city. Definitely a first class experience all around for me and my family! Hope to visit again in the future!

I am so glad I found this little home away from home!
I came to Edmonton to visit my Mom who is in a senior's home there and needed somewhere comfortable to stay. Luckily, I came across Joe and Liz's lovely suite in St Albert. I had to drive a bit to get to where Mom lives, but it was well worth it. When I returned here at night after long emotional days, I was enveloped in a cozy, great feeling suite! It has everything you need for your stay as they have equipped it fully! Joe kindly lent me his GPS so I could get around...without it I would still be there looking for locations!
It is very quiet and in a wonderful neighborhood that is safe and very pretty. I hooe to stay there again when I return in the fall. Thank you Joe and Liz!

Wonderful suite for any traveller
We spent most of the summer living in Joe and Liz's suite as we waited for our house to be finished. We had a lovely time. The suite is cozy and has all the amenities one could possibly need: kitchenette for cooking your own food, living area for hanging out, and bedroom with attached bath for sleeping. Joe and Liz were wonderful hosts as well, and we really enjoyed getting to know them. Overall, this is a quiet, convenient, and comfortable place to stay in the Edmonton area. Highly recommended!

SUPER NICE PLACE TO STAY
We were visiting family in St.Albert for two weeks and wanted to find a little apartment. We were very fortunate to have found this lovely place, it was very clean, very well equipped, we lacked nothing. We had our own patio outside, was very private and comfortable. Joe and Liz are super nice people who would be there for you if you needed help with anything. Would not hesitate to recommend this suite to anyone. Hope that we will be able to stay there again if we ever visit St. Albert again.

Quiet, cosy spot close to Edmonton
This is a great place !
We stayed for two months when relocating from South Africa.
The suite has a beautiful view of trees and hares !
Well furnished kitchen, plenty of bedding and towels, TV, DVD's and books.
There is plenty of information about things to do and see in the areas of St Albert and Edmonton.
Joe and Liz are perfect hosts, completely available but not intrusive.

Without Question=the BEST Place To Stay When Visiting NW Edmonton or St. Albert Surrounding Area
The Photos & Reviews absolutely do not capture the Perfection that this Charming property in a quiet wellkept upscale neighborhood provides. Be prepared to be more comfortable than expected. This walkout suite is truly a Home Away From Home. The owners do a great job in supplying above and beyond!!! As we pulled away=my husband announced that we would not be staying anywhere else on future visits.

A cosy home away from home
What a fantastic little find. This suite is amazingly well equipped and if staying in winter the lovely warming fire place is a very welcome addition. The photos in the listing are an accurate reflection of the suite, which is very private and lovely and quiet.
The owners were very friendly and provided a lot of helpful information about the local area. St Albert is a beautiful little town with a whole host of leisure activities to keep you busy. There is also a good selection of restaurants and shops to explore.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to people visiting St Albert, or the Greater Edmonton area.

comfortable and private
This was my first bed and breakfast experience and first time using homeaway as well and I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received. The property was private, secure, clean, comfortable and I had a lovely stay. It was close to the Edmonton Army base and to shopping and it was easy getting to and from the airport. The neigbourhood was quiet as well. The property manager was friendly and provided information on the area and surrounding attractions. I will definitely call to book again the next time I'm visiting Edmonton. I would stay here over a hotel room anytime.

A Great Stay!
I still don't know how my wife found this gem, but I'm sure glad she did!
We needed a place to call home while our furniture was enroute from Europe (where we had spent the last four years) and Joe & Liz proved to be absolutely wonderful hosts! Arriving on the 12th of July, we stayed until the 10th of August and couldn't have been more comfortable. Two items should, however, be noted. Firstly, the suite is not air-conditioned, so if this is on your list of "must-haves" - you're out of luck. We didn't need this amenity during our stay, even though the outside temperatures were quite warm. Secondly, there is no telephone available in the suite itself. Our cell phones saw us through that detail and posed no real problem.
The listing description is spot-on and, containing all the essentials for a holiday getaway, this suite more than fulfilled our requirements. It is a clean, well-maintained unit and I have no hesitation recommending this property to anyone wishing to visit the Edmonton area.
