About this house rental

Escape to this amazing vacation home perfect for families of all ages situated just steps from the beach and Bethany Beach Boardwalk! This casually elegant and spacious home has tons of space to spread out and relax with family and friends featuring 6 bedrooms plus a den and 6 full bathrooms. Tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture amenities feature central air conditioning, state of the art full kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, 2 sets of washer/dryers, 5 TVs (streaming only, please bring your owner firestick/roku for bedroom TV's), 4 DVDs, , 4 DVDs, WiFi and Elevator. Charming covered decks to sit and enjoy your morning coffee plus lovely back yard living space with deck and outside shower! Includes optional use of Sea Colony amenities subject to $55.00 recreation fee per person. Sea Colony is a full-service family friendly resort offering 12 pools (2 indoor, plus 7 more for the kids), world ranked tennis, fitness centers with indoor pool, saunas, whirlpool, locker rooms, exercise room, indoor gym and more! Activities are available for all ages including kid's night out, bingo and more. Fireplace not for guest use, grill not provided.

There is a lot of false advertising as far as this property is concerned. There was no mention that the king-sized bedroom on the upper level had no air conditioning vent - except in the bathroom - making for VERY uncomfortable sleeping. In the other bedrooms the vents were either closed or impossible to find; the family in the bunk bed room had to sleep on the couch in the great room - not the 4-star resort stay we paid for. Perhaps most upsetting of all though was the presence of BLACK MOLD on the sliding door shade in the bedroom on the lower level. We have a number of folks with allergies in our family, and this room was completely uninhabitable. Once outside there was more disappointment. The parking pad can in NO WAY fit four cars, which makes it hard to believe that this house really sleeps 14 people. In addition, inquiries about extra parking with the property manager were useless - there only solution was to park extra cars in a storage lot many miles away. I understand that this is not a family-owned property, however, the house could really use some sort of welcoming book. During our entire stay we had absolutely no idea how to work the light switches, the TVs, or any of the appliances. We didn't know where our outside trash cans were, or when trash pickup was scheduled. When we finally found our trashcan after walking through our very soggy backyard, we were shocked to find only one trash can for a house this big. Totally unacceptable.

Perfect Getaway at the Beach!
We've been coming to Bethany Beach for years and this was our best location yet! 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, elevator, poker room, two tv rooms, large kitchen and dining area, grill, less than a minute walk to the beach, and easy walk to the Bethany Beach boardwalk. We loved it and will definitely be back! Only thing we'd love is if the kitchen had baking sheets and spatulas/wooden spoons as we cooked in a few nights.
