Cute cottage right on the lake. Amazing sunsets, very quiet. Home was as pictured. We loved the area, enjoyed our stay and if we ever return to New Hampshire we would definitely book again!

Our family had an awesome time from start to finish. Jayne and Wayne were awesome to work with and we enjoyed our conversations with them. Our kids (8 and 5) spent days playing in the sand on the quaint and tidy beach; playing catch, bocce, bags, wiffle ball, and paddle ball in the yard; and we all spent a ton of time in the kayaks, canoe, and (especially) the row boat which we used daily for our fishing excursions (perch, sunnies, rock bass, and one awesome largemouth). We used the grill daily and had a few fires in the fire pit which came supplied with wood and supplies. The cabin was just what we needed with plenty of room for us to sleep, put together puzzles, play board games, and read books. Lots of time spent on the spacious screened-in porch. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. We plan to come back again next year. Wonderful experience overall.

The hosts were very accommodating to all our needs and questions. Property was very well maintained and would stay here again. Have already booked another vacation here.

We loved our stay here, the property was perfect, the area had good places to eat and plenty to do, and the host was very helpful with any questions we had and as a guide for what to do in the area. You can't beat staying here - right on this beautiful lake!

Our family had the opportunity to stay twice at Swallowpoint Cottage this summer. Our second stay was equally as great as the first. One thing I didn't mention in my first review that is worthy of noting is that the owners of the property seem to really care that you feel comfortable and have an enjoyable time. Both times we were greeted with a "welcome basket" of homemade goodies and an extensive listing of places to visit, restaurants, things to do in the area. They were so welcoming and friendly to us and our 2 young children. Counting down the days until our stay next summer :)

Cozy, clean cottage with the best yard and sandy waterfront - especially for our 2 young children. Quiet area, beautiful view and sunsets. Jayne & Wayne are friendly, helpful, and responsive. We can't wait to come back!!

We really enjoyed our week on lake Winnipesaukee! Jayne and Wayne have a beautiful property and a very clean house! It was just my husband, I and our son but there was plenty more than enough room to sleep and have 9 people stay! Our son loved the fact that he could run out to the beach and play in the sand! We caught all kinds of fish through the week! Many local attractions were not open through the week but, we went to Clark's Bears, Castle in the Clouds, and Story Land. What a peaceful and quiet week! If we return to Lake Winnipesaukee in the next few years we will rent right from Jayne and Wayne again!

The house is really well cared for, and in a great location! The waterfront is sandy, which is a super plus. Really friendly owners. The house has plenty of space and plenty of parking. Also pretty close to attractions(within a half hour of most things you'll need/want)

The house was very clean with a great location. The property itself was perfect for a family vacation and the wifi was flawless! The property owners are great and very communicative.

Great clean cabin on the lake. Great for fishing trips or just a family getaway. Water access. Owners are great and very helpful. Jane made us delicious brownies upon arrival and Wayne even helped us repair a flat on the boat trailer, lending us tools and advice. Not a bad thing to say..........this was our second time back and plan on returning again.... 5 Stars!

The pros: super comfy beds, great beach perfect for young children, great fire pit for toasting marshmallows, awesome dock, great lawn area for outdoor activities The cons: We thought I’d was a little overpriced for what you get, not a lot of room in the cabinets for food and things. The kitchen could use some updating, the fridge was leaking a little. The bathroom door was hard to close and was very loud, which is tough when you have a sleeping baby. It was a great vacation though, the owners are nice! I would recommend this place to a small family but I think more than 5-6 people is too many.

The Lakehouse was amazing! The views were great, The sand beach was perfect for our two-year-old daughter building Sandcastle’s, great dock for Fishing!!!. The cottage was extremely clean, which was very important to us because we had a three week old infant. Jayne was respectful of our distance considering COVID-19 And take every precaution possible. Such a great host, she even gave us a ride to the rental car place when we had car trouble‘s on our checkout date. Couldn’t recommend this place more

The kitchen was not pictured in listing but it was great. Every appliance you could want and very well stocked with all the basics. There was plenty of space for our group (4 adults and 3 older teenagers). Family room was very comfortable and had beautiful views. The screened porch was large, a great space for us all to eat together and play card/board games. Lots of comfortable seating throughout the home, nice for unwinding after a long day on the water.We are pretty active so most of our time was spent outside. The yard was awesome for yard games like cornhole, spikeball, and some other big area games. It was also great having a firepit with open view of the lake. Owners even provided firewood for the first night, marshmallow sticks, and a start up supply for making smores!!The beach was clean and water crystal clear. We rented a 25ft pontoon for the week and had no trouble docking. The location on the lake is great for boating, quiet cove with super easy access to big lake. Short ride to Braun Bay sandbar, and centrally located between Wolfboro, Meredith and Alton Bay. The check in and check out process was super easy. The owners live next door and could not be nicer. Jayne met us for check in showed up around and let us know she was available for anything we needed. We actually didn't see them again till check out since we didn't need anything and the lot is very private but it was nice knowing they were there. We have rented several different vacation homes but have never found one we have enjoyed this much or wanted to return to. This is the one... we will be back next year for sure!

We had a wonderful week at the cottage and booked our fifth year in a row on departure. You can’t beat what this place has to offer, it’s very clean with everything you need a full kitchen which is fully stocked and a nice outdoor grill! Plenty of room in the yard for outdoor activities with a gentle slope to the lake with a beautiful sandy beach and nice forty foot dock which handled our 24’ boat and jet ski on one side and left the beach side open for swimming. You’re not going to want to miss the amazing sunsets. The peddle boat and hammock were a great addition this year and got a lot of use. There are also kayaks, canoe and rowboat so you can be as active as you like or simply relax and take in the view it’s amazing! The owners Jayne and Wayne are amazing hosts and two of the nicest people going and we would like to thank them for seem less and wonderful vacation as always, see you next year!! Michael C

This was our 7th year returning to the cottage. It's like a little slice of heaven. If relaxation is what you are after, this is the place for you. We come and never leave. The sunsets are absolutely breath taking. The cottage is as clean as they come and it has everything you could ever need. We enjoyed the new paddle boat addition this year! The owners, Jayne & Wayne, are wonderful and go out of their way to make sure everything is just right. If you decide to stay hear, plan on coming back year after year.

We had another fantastic week at this charming cottage! This is our second year in a row at this place.The location is amazing! It offers sandy beach and a breathtaking sunset view. You can also hear the loons! The cottage is right on the water. It is very clean, cute and cozy. I was very impressed to find out, the owners put fresh, washed bed protectors every week for every family. This is a whole new level of clean! I mention this because it is important for me to know I put my bed sheets on a clean bed! The kitchen is well equipped with pretty much everything you might need. Our family very much enjoyed our time outdoors as there are plenty of lake toys available (boat, kayaks, canoe etc.). The new addition this year - the pedal boat was a total hit especially for the kids! We very much enjoyed morning kayaking. The lake felt very refreshing. Kids were fishing almost very day and caught plenty of fish. They also loved exploring the near by islands. My son said - this is better than Hawaii and Puerto Rico combined! Jayne and Wayne are wonderful hosts. They are very kind, friendly and accommodating! We enjoyed our stay to the fullest! We are looking forward to return next year!

We have returned to this property for a few years now because it is in a perfect location on the lake. It has access on land to many of our favorite activities and as a lake site it offers fantastic space and privacy, helpful shade during parts of the day, and good boat access. The house is simple but highly functional and comfortable. The owner is also very kind and hospitable. It continues to be an excellent retreat for us each year.

This place was amazing......I was sooo sick the night before flight and really not that well while I was there but I did not care with that view. I even went into the lake up to my knees. I cannot even describe the breathtaking views and sunset and only regret that I did not get more photos or get to use the fire pit. Everything was perfect and after being here, I would not even think of looking anywhere else to go...…...this location has it all. Jayne and her husband were great and poor Jayne put up with my long goodbye (I am a bit chatty) and also I did not really want to leave...…..ever...…..wonderful welcome basket waiting for us with comfort faves plus a bottle of wine...…….excellent communication...….great owners......really make you feel at home...…..if you come across this spot, look no further. You will not regret it! Thank you so much for your hospitality and letting us stay in the beautiful and unforgettable spot...…...we look forward to seeing you next year!!!!!! Hopefully when it is a tad warmer ……...the property was spit spot , would recommend to everyone , Castle in the Clouds 18 minutes away......all mountain attractions close.....great tax free shopping …….everywhere we ate was good...…..Harts Turkey Farm about 10 minutes away, best turkey since my Dads …..and he was a chef...…...I cannot say enuf good about this rental ….I would be writing forever......

We all loved how calm and quiet it was at this time of year. And, even though the weather was against us most days, we were glad to be staying at a very warm and hospitable place! I would recommend staying here to anyone.

The owners live next door and will help with any questions. The place is neat and clean. They have kayaks, canoe and various items for enjoying the lake. Plenty of outdoor furniture to sit on and enjoy the outdoor setting. You do need to bring your own linens and towels.

Our greatly anticipated second year, and we could imagine we'd never left. We were welcomed again to a clean, inviting getaway, ready for immediate enjoyment with smores, snacks, local coupons, firewood, fire pit, propane, cookware, boats, oars, life jackets, water toys, and this time a special treat—an ear of fresh, sweet farm stand corn for each guest. The location is only exceeded by Jayne & Wayne's thoughtfulness. I can't emphasize enough how ideal this spot is for families. Our last year was "off season" and expectedly quiet. Leading up to Labor Day weekend with a little more activity on the lake, the gently sloping shallows remain appreciably undisturbed by boating thanks to the small island, sandbar, and rocks off to the left. There's plenty of private beach frontage, a nice lawn, and ample space indoors. We were also lucky (again) to have fantastic weather, so we spent most of our time right at the camp. There's a lot more we've yet to explore in the area, though! This year we hiked at the Loon Center and discovered George's Diner in nearby Meredith. Also, just down the road from the cottage, Jojo's makes some darn good in-house sausages. Having to go home afterward was even harder than the first stay. The reality of it lives up to the nostalgia, and you lose track of time. We're looking forward to year three.

This was our first time renting Jayne's cottage and it was lovely! Perfect for a family of four to six. The location was great, beach was perfect with a sandy bottom that went out past the dock. The play structure in the lake owned by the neighbors was a blast for our kids. We saw a black bear too, which was kind of neat! All in all a great week.

This was our 6th year staying at the cottage and somehow every year gets better and better! The owners, Jayne & Wayne, make updates each year and are very accommodating. They go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need for your stay. We arrive, and hardly ever leave. The yard is very well maintained and the beach is lovely. We've seen some of the best sunsets during our stays. We have a 7 & 5 year old who enjoy this vacation as much as we do. If you are looking for a very relaxing vacation, look no further.

This was our third time staying at this property. Jayne is a kind and thoughtful host. The house has always been clean and ready for us. It is wonderfully peaceful but also close to other places that we like to visit such as hiking spots, shops and restaurants. We had a boat with us this year and the lake access and docking were everything that we needed to make that a smooth operation. Overall it was another great week and a great visit to the lake. We will be back:-)

This charming cottage is at an amazing location - brings the beach and the lake at your doorstep. It is a very peaceful place and it offers a great private sandy beach and grassy area. You can also see and hear the loons! The front yard has everything you need to have awesome time outdoors - picnic tables, plenty of outdoor furniture, fire ring and grill. The cottage is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. There is very fast WiFi and 3 flat screen TVs. The available kayaks, rowing boat and canoe added great variety of recreational activities for the whole family. There is a huge inflatable trampoline and slide on the water, 100 ft from the beach, which the neighbors let you use. Our kids loved it and had a blast playing in the water and fishing. We had an excellent, wholesome and filled with fun, water and sun family vacation! Jayne and Wayne are wonderful hosts and very accommodating. Last but not least the sunsets are magnificent! We will be back, we have already booked!

Quaint and comfortable. Everything you need is available at the house. The dock beach snd firepit are all you need for the perfect vacation. Loved the house and will be staying again. Owners are super nice and extremely helpful.
