On the ground floor there is an approximately 45 m² living and lounge area with a fireplace, an open kitchen and the spacious dining area with a direct view of the lake.
The property has an old stock of trees, which provides shade on hot days, but also offers plenty of space for sunbathing on the lake. You can enjoy breakfast or a romantic dinner at sunset on the hotel's own jetty. Of course, swimming and boat trips on the lake are also possible from here.

The house is located at the Hohenfelden reservoir in the middle of Germany and is only 15-20 km away from the state capital Erfurt and the 'classic city' Weimar.
The 40 hectare reservoir has excellent water quality and is adjacent to a forest area.
The Avenida Therme with sauna area and water park is 500 m away.
Our house is located on a 750 m² property with direct access to the lake.
From here you can discover the nearby cities of Erfurt, Weimar and Jena, or explore the surrounding area.
Immediately adjacent to the Hohenfelden reservoir is the Ilmtal bike and hiking trail that leads to the Thuringian Forest.
The reservoir also offers a thermal bath with a bath and sauna area, a lido with a 30 m water slide. An adventure playground, beach volleyball facility and separate nudist area.
In the adjacent forest there is also a family climbing forest with 118 climbing elements, the active park and a mini golf course.

We rented this house for 5 days. The location and amenities (boat, tree swing, and backyard) were amazing. My kids loved it. However, the cleanliness and bedding comfort of the property was fair compared to another house we rented down the street. This house needs a deep cleaning to remove dust not just on counters but also on hard to reach corners. Very important for families with kids prone to allergies. Furthermore, there were little bugs and spider webs on the ceiling in the kitchen and downstairs living space. The house has not bug screen at windows or doors. Therefore we couldn’t enjoy a cool fall breeze in the house. WLAN is very Limited. Definitely not suitable if you need to work remotely or want to browse the internet. Upstairs and downstairs light motion sensors didn’t work properly. The light didn’t turn off after day 3. As for bedding comfort, the second and third bedroom mattresses were hard and super thin, very uncomfortable even for my kids. No additional bedding for blankets and pillows was provided. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Wir waren bereits das 2. Mal hier & haben ein paar schöne Tage im Haus am See verbracht. Das Haus hat alles, was man braucht & sogar noch mehr. Uns hat es jedenfalls an nichts gefehlt & wir hatten eine tolle & erholsame Zeit.

Sehr schönes Haus in sehr schöner Lage direkt am See.
Hier nur einige Highlights:
Eigener Steg, Ruderboot, 2 Stand Up Paddle Boards, Feuerschale, Kamin und Sauna im Haus. Alles sauber, alles vorhanden. Unkomplizierte und persönliche Schlusselübergabe, sehr freundlicher Vermieter.
Wir haben ein verlängertes WE dort verbracht und sind voll auf unsere Kosten gekommen. Wir haben wirklich alles genutzt. Auf dem Steg gesessen und den Seeblick genossen, ins Wasser gehüpft, Regatta Ruderboot vs. SUP 😉, die Region erkundet, sauniert, gegrillt, Feuerschale genutzt, den Abend auf der Terrasse beim Bierchen ausklingen lassen. Wat willste mehr 😉?

Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Egal was man gebraucht hat, es ist alles da. Traumlage an dem See mit eigenem Boot macht das Haus zu einem richtigen Erlebnis... Sogar eigene Saua steht zur Verfügung. Kommunikation und Check_in/out einwandfrei

Tolles Haus in perfekter Lage
Sehr schön gelegen, sehr ruhig (See wie Haus) durch Zugangsbeschränkungen, schönes und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Hause, sehr nette Vermieter! Die Kultur in der Nachbarschaft kam bei unserem Aufenthalt aufgrund des hochsommerlichen Wetters zu kurz, wir wollten den See einfach nicht verlassen... Unsere 4 Jungs geben dem Haus und dem See den eindeutigen Chill-Faktor. (Das Ganze noch ergänzen würde ein stabileres W-Lan und eine Waschmaschine :-).)

Dieses Ferienhaus am See ist was Besonderes! Sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Lage ist perfekt. Man kann da bleiben und die Ruhe genießen oder wunderbare Ausflüge in der Umgebung machen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Wir möchten uns für den wunderschönen Urlaub herzlich bedanken!

Einfach nur super
Tolles Ferienobjekt in fantastischer Lage. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und flexibel. Die Ausstattung hat nichts zu wünschen übrig gelassen und alles war modern und in tafellosem Zustand. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen.

Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und modern eingerichtet. Die Lage ist super. Die Gestaltung der Freizeit ist sehr vielfältig.
Jetzt kommt meckern auf hohem Niveau: es gab keine Fische im See :-( dafür können natürlich die Hausbesitzer nichts. Uns hat der Kartoffeln Stampfer in der Küche und ein Aschenbecher auf der Terrasse gefehlt. Aber ansonsten gab es wirklich nicht zu bemängeln.
Mit großer Freude haben wir die Sauna genutzt und Fernseher in jedem Zimmer ist wirklich Luxus pur. Fürs Benutzung des Bootes bedanken wir uns herzlich. Es war eine tolle Zeit im Haus der Familie Lehmann-Fuchs.

Wir haben einen rundum gelungenen Urlaub bei Familie Fuchs verbracht. Das Ferienhaus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben ein sauberes und gemütlich eingerichtetes Ferienhaus übergeben bekommen. Der Kontakt mit Familie Fuchs war stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Tolles Objekt direkt am See. Das etwas dürftige WLAN war das einzige Manko für unsere Teenies, aber dadurch war es ein intensiver Familienurlaub. Also für Eltern durchaus positiv.
Komplett empfehlenswert.
Umgebung und Haus bietet alles, was man für einen guten Urlaub braucht.

Das war ein absoluter Traumurlaub. Das Haus ist wirklich absolut top, alles sauber, es fehlt an nichts, mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und die Lage ist unglaublich. Ruhe und Entspannung pur!!!!!
Leider kann man maximal 5 Sterne geben - wir würden gerne mehr Sterne für das tolle Haus geben!
Wir haben jeden Tag den See genossen und uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Der Vermieter ist super sympathisch und hilfsbereit.
Leider geht auch mal der schönste Urlaub zu Ende, doch wir kommen im nächsten Jahr gleich wieder, so toll hat es uns gefallen und freuen uns jetzt schon drauf.

Das Haus liegt wunderschön direkt am See mit eigenem Steg. Wir sind jeden Tag baden gewesen, ein Traum. Die Umgebung bietet viele interessante Ziele. In so einem schönen Haus kann man aber auch sehr gut seine Zeit verbringen. Ein sehr netter Vermieter!

Wir waren eine Woche Mitte Juni dort und hatten trotz wechselhaftem Wetter eine Menge zu tun: Kletterpark, Therme, Pizza Restaurant am Wasser, Abenteuerspielplatz, Streichelzoo, Joggen im Wald, Entenbabies gucken, usw.. Den Adler- und Falkenhof haben wir leider nicht mehr geschafft. Das Haus war super, mit eigenem Elektroboot und Wassergrundstück natürlich ein Traum. Es gab ein paar dreckige Teller im Schrank und eine Waschmaschine wäre auch schön gewesen, aber ansonsten top! Ich habe mich eh gefragt, wie man das gesamte Haus inklusive Interieur innerhalb vier Stunden bis zum nächsten Urlauber sauber bekommt. Ein Grill ist vor Ort, welchen wir viel genutzt haben. Was man mit Kinder bedenken sollte, ist dass man nicht am Seeufer flach hineinlaufen kann sondern es Holzpfähle am Uferrand gibt, die es kleinen Kindern fast unmöglich machen, selbst ins Wasser zu kommen. Dahinter ist es gleich so 30cm tief.

Lage am See mit Steg und Boot top, Ausstattung top, Vermieter top. Ferienhaussiedlung mit dem typischen Charm der Katalog-Häuser, aber das ist für ein Wochenende völlig in Ordnung. Für den Preis müsste das Internet noch besser sein, aber ansonsten alles top. Vielen Dank an die freundlichen Vermieter.

Es war ein tolles langes Wochenende. Wetter hätte besser sein können aber Unterkunft und Lage toll.
Das Haus können wir nur weiterempfehlen. Problemloser Check in wie out. Die Lage ist toll und das Haus schön ausgestattet wie eingerichtet. Den Aussenbereich könnte man etwas einladender gestalten aber wir waren vermeintlich auch zur falschen Jahreszeit dort.
Trotzdem immer zu empfehlen und wir kommen gern mal wieder.

Eine wunderbar sonnige Woche Ende Oktober in einem perfekt am See gelegenen Haus mit eigenem Steg u Boot!! Besser geht’s kaum!
Praktisch eingerichtet Haus für uns zwei Familien mit 3 Kindern. Auch die Nahe Umgebung hat viel zu bieten: Spassbad, Kletterpark, Streichelzoo, Freilichtmuseum u für die Erwachsenen natürlich die kulturellen Angebote von Weimar, Jena, Erfurt etc....
