Amazing location, the highest spot in Siena. Easy to get to all the best locations. Apt is very comfortable and spacious. The host are super accommodating and easy to get ahold of. The host even offered to take us on a tour of their family garden.

The two flights of beautiful, old travertine stairs leading to the apartment need more railngs and light.

Kathleen was wonderful to deal with. It was a little confusing getting to the apartment but that was mostly my fault. Clean and great location.

It was great & location was good. Noisy with windows open but added some character. Fun watching people walking by or sitting and visiting.
Too bad no A/C in bedroom, was warm.
We had a great stay!

Casa Buonsignori was beautiful and elegant, just as presented on line. The location for a stay in Siena was ideal. Close to all and everything but still in a neighborhood. Kathleen, our host, was welcoming, helpful and responsive throughout. When it was sadly time to leave and catch our train the taxi was very late. Kathleen got in her car to come get us!

Kathleen went above and beyond for our stay in Siena. The apartment was well stocked, and there was thorough, helpful information about the apartment and area. There is fast, reliable WiFi. Her family is very kind and look for opportunities to enhance your stay. We were so comfortable here, we didn’t want to leave! We hope to return again soon.

This lovely well-appointed apartment is in a great location - short walks to Campo and Duomo, but on a quiet part of a main street. Our host left a very detailed booklet with wonderful suggestions for first-time visitors to Siena. This included some exellent places to eat just steps from the door. The hosts were always very resposive to our messages, which helped us enjoy the city. We would not hesitate to return to this property.

It's in a great location, just off one of the main 'streets' in Siena, just down from the Duomo and within a few hundred yards of the plaza. Restaurants abound, several reasonably priced convenience stores are nearby, and most sites in Siena are walkable from the apartment.
The apartment itself is nice, very clean, with a decent sized bedroom & bathroom, and a small kitchen. The place has a few quirks which can be expected based on its age (the building itself is a few hundred years old but the apartment has been beautifully re-done). Everything we needed was provided.
The hosts were great, very responsive and helpful. Their little binder with local recommendations was invaluable. Be sure to ask to see their garden. This is a very unique property right in the middle of a wonderful ancient city. Enjoy!

The apartment is much larger than it appears in the photos. The host was very responsive, check-in was very smooth. The apartment is quiet and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay. Good restaurants, bars, and shopping nearby.

Our stay was lovely from start to finish. The property manager was incredibly helpful and communicative (even had her mom call us a taxi). The location is minutes from anywhere you want to be in old Siena. The furnishings are beautiful and well-maintained. We had plenty of towels, which is so often lacking in other VRBO’s. The kitchen was well supplied. The washing machine was in good working order. We opened the windows and let all of the wonderful sounds of this sweet neighborhood drift in whenever we were in the apartment. We felt part of the culture in this incredible, historical town during our brief stay. We would love to return to this property. We highly recommend it!

Siena Up Close
We had a great time staying at Kathleen and Nicholas’s place in the heart of Siena. I don’t think you could find an apartment more convenient to the sights and happenings of this historic and picturesque city. The Duomo and the Campo are a five minute (or less) walk away, the fort is a short jog, and on your way you’ll encounter countless cafes, gelaterias, shops, studios, historic sights, etc etc. The apartment itself is just as advertised, providing the perfect place for a weary couple to stretch out and unwind between the go go go of two sightseeing tours. Nicholas was completely responsive to our questions and was kind enough to provide us with a tour of his backyard garden, which is not only lovely but also the highest private garden in all of Siena (and if memory serves, also the first). Can’t wait to go back!

We spent a week in this wonderful apartment in September 2016. What a wise choice it was! Not only is it walking distance to all of the sites in the historic core but also very comfortable and quiet! Nick was extremely helpful in orienting us to Siena and answering all questions and arranged transportation to the train station for us. I would highly recommend this apartment and will definitely stay here again when we return to Siena. Thanks Nick for sharing you historic home with us!

Wonderful apartment!!!
I stayed in this apartment for one month while working in Siena. The location of the apartment is absolutely perfect. It is close to everything, yet also quiet for sleeping, as the bedroom is not on the street side. We were there during the Palio, and were able to see the entire parade from our windows! The apartment was clean and comfortable, and was exactly as pictured here. Nick was a perfect host, and helped us with easy, close and inexpensive parking when we rented a car for the weekend to explore Tuscany.
The apartment was very bright and spacious, and the kitchen includes everything you need to cook there. However, there are so many wonderful restaurants in Siena that it is very difficult to stay in and cook. Osteria Cice, just a few doors from the apartment, has excellent food and prices. La Vecchia Latteria, a gelato shop, is also on the same block.
We hope to return to Siena again, and WOULD NOT HESITATE to rent this great apartment again! Thank you , Nick, Kathleen and Colleen!

Great experience!
We stayed at Casa Buonsignori for 2 weeks in late July-early August. This was our first apartment rental through VRBO and we found the experience to be very much to our liking. Casa Buonsignori is a spacious apartment true to the advertised information, very clean and safe, and a good value for cost. The apartment is within walking distance to historical sites, shopping, grocery stores, and delicious restaurants. Italy is hot and humid in summer but with the ceiling fans and ability to open windows in front and door to small patio in rear we were able to cool the apartment for good sleeping - although Italians keep later hours than Americans tend and the street can be noisy until later at night. Nicolas and Kathleen were very responsive to questions and made suggestions for restaurants and tours to enhance our visit. We highly recommend a visit to Sienna and a stay at Casa Buonsignori.

Excellent value and location in Siena
We spent 6 days in September at Casa Buonsignori and it was just right for our needs--close to the centre of Siena and within easy walking distance of all the major sights within the wall. The apartment was clean and well equipped and includes a good wireless internet connection, an efficient washing machine, and lots of helpful books and materials about Siena and Tuscany. As the photos show, this apartment is furnished with older furniture, some well worn (though the bed is extremely comfortable), and the configuration of Siena's streets--narrow with tall buildings--means that the apartment, like the city, does not tend to be full of light. In other words, the apartment is cozy rather than bright and airy. (For example, the small terrace is a good functional space for drying laundry and for getting fresh air into the bedroom, but would not be a place to sit outside and soak up the sun!) We were extremely comfortable here and enjoyed the direct access to Siena's charming and very lively medieval streets.

Cozy home well located in Siena
My daughter and I had a lovely stay at Casa Buonsignori and would highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Siena. The apartment was cozy and welcoming, and the Furi family extremely helpful without being intrusive. Thank you for letting us feel "at home," and we hope to return soon :-).

Casa Bonsignori is a wonderful place to stay while seeing Siena and other areas around Tuscany. Much better [and cheaper] than a hotel. Parking is a 5 min. walk and Nicholas kindly provides a discount parking card [get good instruction on how to use it]. Siena is a jewel, esp. after frenetic Florence. We'll will recommend this apt. to any one coming to Tuscany.

Ideal apartment and location in Siena
My husband and I stayed for one week in early May at this apartment. We found the apartment to be as advertised. Very spacious, immaculately clean, well located and ideal for taking day trips to and from Siena. Nicholas proved to be a very helpful and obliging host. We will definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family.

Our week at Casa Buonsignori exceeded our expectations. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The hosts are gracious and helpful. It was a great way to experience daily life in Sienna. We thoroughly enjoyed every part of Sienna as well as having a 'home' from which we enjoyed a number of day trips. Highly recommend a stay here.

Great location, amenities and host
My family of 3 stayed for 5 nights and would love to return. The location is so close to Il Campo, where we seemed to end up walking to every evening! We chose it for location and the fact the owners speak English. We were greeted and assisted by Nicholas during our stay and he couldn't have been more kind and helpful. He went out of his way to help us, even checking in with us the night before our departure right at the time when we were having a hard time figuring out our airline/rental car return logistics! He came up with a great solution. The kitchen is equipped for basic cooking, the washing machine was great to have as were the DVDs and books on local sights. The pullout sofa worked fine for our son. Whoever sleeps there does have to walk through the bedroom to access the bathroom. The tub was a treat! Overall, the value was excellent and we really can't say enough about how Nicholas' help enhanced our stay. Thank you, Nicholas!

Stay here!! One of our best rentals yet!
We stayed here for 5 nights and could not have been more impressed. The location is superb, right in the old center a few steps away from Duomo. There is a café on one side of the apartment, and a wine bar on the other. Delicious restaurants surround the apartment. The apartment itself was very large, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Our hosts were excellent! We drove, and they met us at a parking lot right outside of the ZTL, and escorted us to the apartment. They also reside in the building, and were always available. We did not want to leave, and wished we had stayed here longer instead of heading to Florence. Rent this apartment!! Thanks to Kathleen, Alessandro, and Colleen for their wonderful hospitality!
