This dynamic city boasts 1,400 carefully preserved medieval buildings that coexist with structures from the Roman Era. Parts of the orginal Roman wall still exist.
Not far away is the Bavarian Forest where you can find beautiful areas to go hiking for the day and eat lunch in a nearby castle. Take a boat ride up the Danube, or perhaps rent a bicycle and ride through the city and surrounding areas. Lots of things to do and see.
