Special place run by special people. We found its calm beauty serenity and location just far enough away from civiliazatkom and just close enough to everything to be the perfect pastoral respite from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Take time with the photos and history of the place which is available in various social media in addition to this site and if it is for you, you will know it with certainty. The pool with an endless circling of water is also a lovely way to relax and essential as the Tuscan sun heats up. The house itself stays cools through the adroit use of shutters. We stayed two weeks and our only regret is that each day passed so quickly.

This villa will fulfill all your Tuscan fantasies: history, art, architecture, gastronomy and sun, all beautifully presented and hosted by Ilaria in her family villa. Our family and friends had a delightful stay.

La bella vita in Vigliano!
We spent a most lovely week at beautiful Villa Pepi in July 2022. Carefully and respectfully restored, the villa was the perfect place for our group of history nerds consisting of 11 adults and 6 children. The kids loved running around exploring all the cozy rooms and secrets of the villa, and of course spent most of the day in the pool. Feeding the chickens and collecting eggs was also exiting.
The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked all our meals there, exploring the different produce of the area. Check out the salsiccia at the butcher in Leccio!
Despite the heat, the villa was quite cool during the night, if you remember to close the windows and screens during the day.
Ilaria is the most lovely and welcoming host. Without hesitation she answered and fixed all our questions. And we are wery glad she took us on a guided tour through the villa and her family history, it is clear to all that her heart belongs to Vigliano. We would love to come back one day!

Amazing Museum stay
Staying at Pepi Villa is like getting a week in a 1600 century museum! Each morning we got up and fed the chickens and checked to see if there were any eggs. Then a dip in the beautiful pool before we took of for Florence or Sienna. The owner, Ilaria is the best host. She arranged a Chef to come and make us the most amazing dinner for my Brother's engagement. Each room has been preserved with pictures and furniture from The Family Pepi over generations. We had the time of our lives!
