Our stay was absolutely amazing. The accommodation is absolutely spotless and so so lovely. The pictures don’t do it justice. We used the paddle boards and kayaks every day, they were just fab! Michi went over and above for us leaving us some snacks and essentials and checking in to ensure we were happy with everything and was always there to offer advice. Both her and Matthew are fantastic hosts! Thank you so much x

We had a wonderful family holiday in beautiful Montenegro. The apartment exceeded all expectations, it is spacious and has everything you would ever need including very comfy beds!
The outside space and pool were amazing with the most beautiful views we have ever experienced.
Michelle is such a lovely host, nothing was too much trouble, we never needed to ask anything as she was always one step ahead!

The apartment is in a great location and only a 10 minute walk into the old town.
The children loved using the paddle boards and exploring the local area.

We would 100% recommend staying at this wonderful apartment in Kotor. We were stunned by everything from when we arrived to when we left. The accommodation has everything you need while on holiday, excellent cleanliness and the welcome pack was great especially after a long day travelling.
The views from the apartment are breathtaking from watching life go in the morning, the cruise ships, speedboats whizzing by, and the night lights of the old town. Kotor old town is around 20 mins walk, supermarket is 15 minutes, bakery 10 minutes. Waterfront is literally seconds away and we all enjoyed swimming and use of the kayaks and paddle boards. The pool was an added bonus and our girls loved playing in there late into the evening. Many restaurants, cafes and bars so much choice when eating out.
Michelle was the best host and has a vast knowledge of the area and beyond. The apartment ticked all boxes and our holiday was made all the more amazing by Michelle and all of the thought she has put into visiting her lovely home.
Go find some fun in Kotor and beyond, it truly has something for everyone.

We have just returned from an amazing 10 night stay in this stunning accommodation.
Every morning was a “pinch me moment” sitting with a coffee, taking in the stunning view of Kotor bay, watching the cruise ships sail in.
The accommodation is very spacious and was spotlessly clean. We were a party of 2 adults and a 17 year old. Our other daughter joined us for a few nights and the accommodation was spacious enough for us all.
The pool was a god send due to the very high temperatures Montenegro was experiencing at the time of our stay.
We took full advantage of the Kayaks and paddle boards, the sea is just across from the apartment and we were even lucky enough to spot some dolphins.
We arrived to a fully stocked fridge which we were grateful of, especially arriving on a Sunday when all supermarkets are closed.
Michelle is probably the most amazing host we’ve ever had. Nothing was too much trouble and we have made a friend for life. Our daughter had a cancelled flight home and Michelle was so helpful with airport runs.
Kotor it’s self is beautiful. It takes about 15/20 minutes to walk to the old town, where we spent evenings wandering around the pretty streets and sampling the local cuisine.
I can’t recommend this property enough.

It is the second time that I have stayed in this lovely apartment.
The view from the apartment and spacious outdoor seating area is spectacular.It was lovely sitting outside and looking at the view across the water.The lovely old town of Kotor is a 10-15 minute walk away with lots of restaurants and bars and beautiful old buildings. We spent lots of time on the paddleboards and kyaks provided (thank you). We did the "ladder walk" next to the old town which we really enjoyed. Perast and Budva are near for visiting and the cable car provided amazing views.
Michelle is the best host I have encountered and is thoughtful and generous both with her time and what she provides within the apartment.

We travelled as a party of four to explore Monty for the first time. We wanted to be walking distance from Kotor and this ticked the box. The apartment is in a beautiful location and is wonderful. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need, spotlessly clean with a wonderful balcony and small pool that were used throughout the whole stay as the temperatures hit 35C. As mentioned in many reviews the host Michelle has thought of everything with lovely touches such as the ample welcome pack, shampoo and soap provided, great hairdryer and the litre bottle of Rose wine on arrival. I would highly recommend the property.Thank you Michelle, Matt and family for making us so welcome.

We enjoyed a previous stay here so much we had to return, and will certainly return again. Personally, I have been traveling for business and pleasure for more than 20 years and after staying in countless hotels, hostels and vrbos, I will say without hesitation that Michelle and her family are the best hosts I have encountered.
Communications were effortless, clear and friendly. We arrived during a holiday when shops are closed, and were pleasantly surprised to find our kitchen fully stocked with food and drink for days.
We took kayaks out onto the bay, and enjoyed hiking, shopping and exploring and ultimately fell in love with Kotor.
Will be back for sure. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect, almost too good to be true. Michelle is such a gracious host and made our stay so easy. She communicated everything we needed for our arrival, met us and provided a fully stocked kitchen which kept us fed and entertained for the whole week. Will happily stay here again!

My husband and I have stayed at several VRBO locations throughout the years and this one absolutely tops the list! Waking up each morning to the amazing view and enjoying a cup of coffee on the private terrace was such a treat. To top it off, Michelle is such a warm and gracious host. We really enjoyed staying in this spectacular apartment which had great outdoor space with pool and fantastic views of the Bay of Kotor.
It was an easy walk to Kotor and when we were tired there were plenty of taxis available.
The hike up to the Hilltop Kotor Fortress was one of our favourite activities of the week, hard work but worth it for the amazing views!!
Our daughter and her friend had great fun using the paddleboards which were available during our stay.
Michelle (the host) was very friendly & helpful during our week in Montenegro. Highly recommended.

We had a great time in this lovely appartment with a large terrace and its own swimming pool, right in front of the sea. Location is perfect in a calm spot for swimming and only 10/15 min walking distance to Kotor old city. And above all, Michelle was the best host I ever had!

Can’t fault this place. It’s in a great location, 15 minute walk into Kotor, and right on the sea front. Having the use of kayaks and paddle boards was brilliant. Michelle and Matt could not do enough for us. The welcome pack!!! Well we lived on most of it for the week we were there and the herb garden :).
The view is to die for (apart from all of the Cruise ships but M&M cant do anything about that).
We used the Kayaks and paddleboards a few times and was a great break from the loungers and pool.

We really enjoyed our stay in this property. It has a stunning view which we enjoyed either sitting on the terrace with a drink in hand or through the large windows from inside. It is very comfortable with everything that you would need thought of and provided.
Michelle is extremely generous, both with her time and with all the little extras that she provides in the apartment. She is hands down the best host I have ever encountered.

The property was amazing. Great location with shops, bars and bakery a 5 minute walk away and Kotor Old Town a 15 minute walk away, even with an 8 year old in tow. The outdoor space was brilliant, plenty of space, nice little pool to dip into when it gets too hot and a view to die for. You can easily spend your time watching dolphins in the bay or lightning displays over the hills. Indoor, it has everything you need with two good size bedrooms and a light open plan living space. Finally, the host. Easy communication from the minute we booked and lovely to deal with while we were on site. Michelle made our daughter feel really welcome and even brought her sweets and colouring pens for when she arrived. We arrived to wine, beer, fruit, breakfast and basics to last us through the week. If returning to Kotor i would even bother looking for anywhere else to stay, id just stay here. Thanks for a fab week

The place, location and hosts were absolutely fabulous! We had an amazing time! When visiting Kotor it is best to stay at this fabulous place, for the visual of the beauty of Kotor!! It is spectacular!!! We struggled with our arrival due to mother nature and then lost one of our bags upon arrival. Michelle was simply amazing with welcoming me into her home to borrow what I needed....she also took me shopping and filled our frig with the much needed provisions free of charge. Because we arrived 2 nites late, due to the travel challenges, we were reimbursed for our nites not used. Just the most amazing, humble hosts! We have become friends and they even invited us into their main home for a dinner party, which was the best food we ate in Kotor! Michelle and Matthew are amazing chiefs on top of their other most generous personalities! We had a fabulous time!!! We have invited them to visit us for a ski vacation in the Colorado Rockies! Just the most beautiful place and experience that we will never forget!

Well to be honest I dont know where to start. Michelle welcomed us with open arms and provided with some snacks and fruits in the accomandation. She gave us a lot of advises what to see or where to go, we could easily ask her any questions.
The apartment was perfect - very clean, modern with a great terrace and a stunning view. You could find everything you need to cook or just making a quick breakfast.
5 stars are not enough to describe the time we had in Montenegro and in the accomadation. We really recommend it!

Michelle is wonderful - she thinks of everything. She knows the area well and has all sorts of suggestions. The apartment is amazing: everything you could think of and the absolutely massive sliding glass doors were our big screen TV - watching cruise ships, sailboats and the weather - we sat there for hours just simply watching the goings-on. I would skip the restaurants over by the old town - head up either coastal road (the better one is the one that heads to Croatia, not to Tivat). We had a GREAT stay. Thanks Michelle.

Our family of 4 stayed at Michelle's beautiful apartment for the final days of our Montenegro visit and in some ways wish it had been at the start as Michelle was such a wealth of information and so welcoming. Her communication, helpfulness and the impeccable apartment meant we could truly relax and enjoy the delights of the Kotor bay.
The apartment is perfect and Michelle has thought of absolutely everything in terms of equipment and needs. The supply of basic provisions and invite to pick herbs and tomatoes were a really nice touch. The pool on the spacious balcony is perfect for cooling off and makes for a wonderful outside area. We made full use of the offer of kayaks and paddleboards, paddling to the local shop for morning provisions!
We had a car and parking was not issue. The road outside is a nuisance with erratic drivers in the height of summer but Kotor old town is easily walkable. The old town is a true delight and the Kotor bay is simply stunning.

Where to start? 5 Star! Absolutely amazing location with stunning views. Top class apartment owner, Michelle couldn’t have been more generous, helpful and Friendly. We’ve been to many places in the past with VRBO and, although all lovely, non come near to the quality, standards and amenities Michelle provides here. Everything you need is supplied plus much more.
15 minutes walk into the delightful old town or 1€ on the bus outside the apartment. Both Tivat and Perast are easily reached by bus, Perast is a must see as is the old town. Also worth walking up the ladder of Kotor, if you’re into walking but leave 6ish AM and take plenty of water, views to die for!
Recommend Cesarica and Bastion for seafood and La Catedrale for pasta.
Finally Michelle, thank you for a wonderful week, wish it was longer but we have our photos and memories. Never reminisced about Blazing Saddles in a more gorgeous setting.

A wonderful 6 night break
The property is lovely, modern & clean with plenty of outside space to enjoy the stunning views. We loved the free use of paddleboards & kayaks. Lovely property in a great location and fantastic host
Michelle’s property is as it says on the tin. Clean, modern and located 10 mins walk from the old town. Sea front location with your own plunge pool. To add to that, Michelle is a wonderful host and she made the stay easy and stress free, particular after our outbound flight got cancelled and we had to scramble to get replacement flights. Michelle was great in suggesting activities and places to visit. All in all, a wonderful stay and definitely a place I would want to return.

Lovely, clean and comfortable apartment by the sea, with daily breathtaking views! Michelle was an excellent hostess with information about the town and tips for things to do locally. The fridge was stocked when we arrived and Michelle went out of her way to make our stay memorable. Loved the kayaking, use of facilities and the fortress trips! Gorgeous property
Michelle’s flat was amazing. It was well laid out, clean, had everything that we needed, and has an incredible view. The walk to Old Town Kotor was a quick 10-15 minutes depending on your pace. The location was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the port. Perfect! Michelle was responsive, super friendly, and fun. We will definitely be back.

We don’t normally leave reviews but the generosity and hospitality shown by Michelle could not go unrecognised.
We had a fantastic holiday. The apartment is exactly as described. Spotlessly clean, modern, bright and equipped with everything you will need for a relaxing stay. The views towards the Old Town of Kotor are stunning and the town itself can be easily reached on foot.
Michelle is a generous and warm hearted host who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time possible in Kotor. We have never met such a hospitable host and feel that we have left Montenegro with not only great memories but have made a new friend as well.
Future guests of Michelle’s are in for a real treat.

A true gem amongst the towering mountains, so close to old town yet miles away from any hustle and bustle. Michelle is a truly wonderful hostess that takes every measure to make sure her guests have a welcoming and comfortable stay. And then there's the pool.... :) ! Can't wait to stay again

Great getaway
The apartment was just as described. The balcony is large with a small pool and the place is right at the water. The view from the apartment is fantastic. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking in, but there are restaurants nearby. Kotor old town is walking distance (maybe a mile) but there are shops and restaurants in between. Michelle was super welcoming, helpful and generous (love the homemade wine). She even took care of getting me a COVID test appt and drove me over there for the appt which made that process so much easier. There are a number of nice hikes right outside and Lovcen is nearby. The hike from Kotor to the restaurant in Lovcen is a challenging 5-ish miles but worth it. Highly recommend Michelle's place.
