About this house rental

Bluestone Bay is situated at the western end of South Beach, Port Fairy. With direct access to your own private beach, it is the ideal spot for safe swimming, fishing and long beach walks. For the more adventurous, scuba diving for Southern crayfish and abalone is right at your doorstep. Bluestone Bay has been designed to comfortably accommodate two families or up to ten friends.

Bluestone Bay has an open kitchen/dining area with a sunken lounge to take full advantage of the spectacular 180 degrees view of the Southern Ocean. There are two master bedrooms with a queen size bed in each that have shared access to the ensuite. The ensuite has a shower and a four person spa. The third bedroom has a queen bed and the forth bedroom, two single beds. There are also 2 rollaway beds available on request. These rooms have access to a second bathroom with a shower and a bath. There is a fully equipped laundry, a double garage with remote access and further space for four cars and even a boat. Bluestone Bay has been designed in a U-shape with a central court yard to provide protection from the prevailing southerly winds.

Bluestone Bay is accessed from a private road off the Princes Highway. The local Post Office is 3.5 kms away or a five minute drive. Guests can walk into town via the beach or the road in approximately 40 minutes.

Amazing stay for a weekend family getaway. The house and view are amazing. Lovely personal and well thought out touches throughout the house, from the owner Lucy. Everything is thought of. Short walk down the hill to the beaches, the kids loved it. We will be back for sure, and can’t recommend this beautiful house enough.

Staying here was an absolute delight. The cleanliness was impeccable, with every corner spotless and well-maintained, giving a sense of comfort and hygiene. The house was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, making our stay convenient and stress-free. Lucy was very welcoming and attentive and arriving to a warm fire was amazing. The location was perfect, offering breathtaking views of the ocean that we enjoyed from the house, making our mornings and evenings truly magical. We loved our stay and will definately be back.

The view is to die for. Peace & Serenity watching the waves roll in, almost at your fingertips. The house offers ocean views from nearly every room & beach access. The house is super spacious, has a relaxed earthy vibe & a huge log fire for cool nights. It was very well equipped with kitchen utensils, pantry & cleaning items. Lucy was a fabulous host. Only suggestion would be a sign indicating which driveway to use as its shared with the house next door. Loved it. We'll be back. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at port fairy. Close to town yet the house itself is like your own private oasis. Wonderful views and a beach practically all to yourself. Life couldn’t have been better.

With 180 views of the ocean, 180 views of the country side and a view of the whole Milky Way at night, you couldn’t ask for more in a holiday! The beach is (practically) all to yourself, and safe enough for the totts to toddle around but still offering an incredible view of the “real” ocean. The house was immaculately clean and offered all the comforts of home. The beds were so comfy and the hosts so kind, communicative and responsive. The perfect holiday!

Just left this amazing place. It is better than pictured! Stunning beach view, gorgeous house, perfect stay for our family. Owners of the house were so nice as well, quick to respond to any questions, and just made the process so easy. Kitchen was very well equipped too. Our family really just wanted a quiet relaxing holiday, close up to the sea and this place provided just that. Really, we couldn’t have been happier there.

Simply stunning place to stay. House very well equipped, as pictured online , clean and homely. Fire was lit for arrival so we walked in to a beautiful warm house. Beach is just at the back door and the views from inside blew us away. We will stay again , certainly would reccomend to anyone.
