Your vacation home (village 4, house no. 1) is located in a vacation home park in the North Hessian Mountains.
The vacation home plots are surrounded by their own lawns, the houses are modern and comfortably furnished. For recreation there is a trim trail and hiking trails nearby.
Nestled between the Knüllwald and Fulda valleys lies the Rotkäppchenland in the middle of the North Hessian mountain country. The name reminds of the homeland of the Brothers Grimm and belongs to the German Fairy Tale Route. Numerous well-developed hiking and biking trails invite you to explore culture and nature, such as the railroad bike path Rotkäppchenland, the Schwalm bike path and the Fulda bike path. Characteristic for the Rotkäppchenland is also a large number of museums, which provide excellent insights into the history of the country and numerous special features.
Bad Hersfeld, which is only 15 km away, also belongs to the absolutely recommendable excursions and welcomes its visitors with a great half-timbered old town as well as numerous spa, cultural and leisure facilities. The abbey ruins are considered the largest Romanesque basilica north of the Alps and are now the largest Romanesque church ruins in the world.
