Perfect 2 bedroom cottage

Beautiful beach cottage that has everything you need. Setting and view is picture perfect. Location is wonderful we walked to grotto beach with our dog and along the many footpaths, we did easy 10 000 steps a day!!

Nothing just that our stay was too short!

Tranquil and beautiful accommodation with facilities that made it easy to relax and enjoy our stay

The location was amazing, a stones throw from the beach offering amazing views of the ocean and whales in the bay. I would recommend this accommodation to friends and family!

The lockbox at the entrance to the accommodation was difficult to operate (the numbers did not slide easily) - this is the only small issue we had.

We had an absolutely pleasant stay at Troon Beach Cottage. Everything has been so well thought of, and it's so very comfortable. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is located in a beautiful and safe area. We loved it so much that we never even wanted to leave to go to the beach or anywhere for that matter. The owner and the hostess communicated with us ongoing and made us feel very welcome. I am almost certain that any person staying over will always return once they have been here. 10 stars.. I would love to give it 20. We will most definitely be back.

I love that the place is so beautiful, open, and comfortable , there is allot of warm blankets and very child friendly. Everything is beautiful 😍 I would highly recommend this place.

There is no toilet brush to clean the toilet, and the fridge makes some noise, and there is no tumble dryer .

weather was poor on arrival and only way to heat house up was through an ineffective indoor braai stand in central living area. bedrooms are really warm. Need to factor in heating during loadshedding and frequent power substation outages in the area.

I loved everything about our stay. The views, the facilities, the location, the excellent communication by the owner and rental agent were all excellent.

Comfortable but welcome amenities need improvement.

Location a little out of town, couldn't walk to anything but the beach ... which was very pretty though.

No firewood (and told to purchase it), not informed of rolling blackouts, not enough coffee, no basic condiments (e.g. salt, pepper), few suggestions in welcoming book of where to eat or pick up food.

Superb location and beautiful home.

Property is well located and has everything one needs. Open plan kitchen, dinning area and lounge. Ideal for enjoying the open space to watch out onto the ocean and during this stay, were able to see the whales in the bay. The house lends to the enjoyment of the area, garden and surrounds, even in bad weather (had a lot of rain and was rather chilly) highly recommended accommodation in Hermanus. Excellent service and wonderful hosts. Thank you Carole and Lorraine.

Best of the Best!

It was my son’s birthday and we had a perfect stay! This house has got everything you need. Host made everything ready and perfect for us. Kitchen is more than fully equipped. There is dishwasher and LG washer/dryer 2in1. Both bedrooms have aircon. There are 2 heaters and a bunch of emergency lights. All these made our winter stay with load-shedding just nice. Weather was cold but the house was so warm. There is no house between us and the beach. It takes you 5 mins to walk there. Simply 10 out of 10!

emmaculately clean. Best shower ever. Beats Arabella shower, hands down. complimentary pillow chocs suntanlotion and gel and beach towel-superb touches. Everything and experience was 5star without a doubt.The trail walk and beach Fantastic experience. The extraction of ice, was quite an experience.ice bounces all over onto floor. but was a great convenience. The fridge is topclass the lounge sofa, the eating table and chairs, everything beautifully comfortable.

did require complimentary shower caps. was only 1tablet for dishwasher. Potjie is rusty and very sadly, very disappointing as could not make the Mother's day special Seafood potjie as planned. only saw when opened pot and hence had made fire unnecessary. that was a disappointment. but them made the dish in pot on stove. To spot a whale from lounge area would be highly impossible(lol) as was told. no biggie just don't mention that to ppl, as huge bushes does block clear sea view, but that WAS NOT A PROBLEM at all.Could not access the "games" cupboard. no biggie though.

Most disappointing sea view.

The apartment is beautiful. Comfortable bed and pillows.

The VIEW!!!!!!!! You can only see the sea at the horizon. DEFENITELY NOT A SEA VIEW APARTMENT. My wife wanted to cry!!!!! Photo's are MISLEADING!!!!

Lovely stay at a beautiful cottage between Grotto Beach and Voelklip beach

We loved the cottage, it was perfect for our family of 4. Loved the decor and the flow of the cottage. The Wifi was good as we had to work for most of our stay at the cottage and we could easily connect. When we did go for walks between the rain, the cottage was very centrally located between Grotto Beach and Voelklip beach, a pity about the weather as we would have loved spending time at the beach

No working tumble drier, which was a bit of a challenge with it raining the whole time during our stay.
