Het is een sfeervolle plek. Je komt hier onmiddellijk tot rust. Medewerkers zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het is hygiënisch. Het is op loopafstand bij het centrum.

Fantastic place, highly recommended!

Such a beautiful place. You can tell that there’s a lot of love into making this place. It’s almost like a little museum with so many nice details. Mario and his family are the kindest people you can imagine, they even served an alcoholic drink at breakfast which really helped to start the day strong. Much love to this amazing place!

The whole city is quite noisy so be aware of that. But just bring some earplugs and you’re good to go. This place is totally worth it!

Excellent stay in San Cristobal.

Loved the decor of the hotel, everything was well maintained. Staff were great and even let us check in early after arriving on a night bus. Coffee available all day in courtyard. Very comfortable bed. Highly recommend a stay here.

Highly recommend.

The family that runs this restaurant is so kind and so helpful. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was great character and was close to popular destinations. I was traveling with my 2 kids and they really liked it too!

It was a bit loud at night (but that is because the city is loud, not the hotel’s fault).

Alles! De uitbating is van een hoog professioneel gehalte, met grote zorg en aandacht voor de gasten, vanuit een oprechte betrokkenheid, familiale warmte en rust. Je voelt je er op je gemak, geen opdringerigheid. Ontspannen sfeer. Mooie inrichting, aandacht voor details, uitnodigende binnentuin en fijne kamer, alles voorzien wat nodig is. Zeer verzorgd en lekker ontbijt. De prijs-kwaliteit is bijzonder scherp. Wij zouden gerust meer willen betalen voor deze service, sfeer en comfort. Een aanrader dus!

Great hotel for visits to San Cristobal

This family run hotel is just perfect. The staff does everything to make your stay super comfortable. You can park your car in the courtyard. The 2-floor family room is super cozy. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the music lovely. Breakfast is great, location perfect. So if you visit San Cristobal (you should), this is the hotel to look for!

Fantastic place with fantastic people

Casa Ghandi staff is absolutely amazing, friendly and welcoming, it feels that they welcome you in their "casa"! Furthermore the hotel itself is very tranquil, almost like a quit oasis in the middle of a bustling town.

Amazing place, right in the middle of town, with the most hospitable hostes you can imagine. A true gem!

Absolutely lovely place, great price value and they have a private parking behind the gate. The establishment itself is very authentic and clean, they play calming music in the amazing patio which add too the relaxing vibe while being in the middle of the charming city. The staff (which is a family) really gives the place a soul, they are super friendly and helpful, come and have a genuine conversation with you and tell you about local customs and hotspots. The staff gives the place a soul!

Everything was perfect: the room was really clean and spacious, the position is really central, the structure is an art masterpiece, the owner and his family incredibly welcoming and always available to help us with all our requests. breakfast was heavenly. thanks everyone for letting us have such a great experience in San Cristobal!

Family run hotel. Highly recommended.

The family that runs this hotel is very friendly and helpful. We needed to go early and they made sure the breakfast was ready when we needed it to be. Also they serve good coffee and liquors for you for free. All in all one of the best experiences wr ever had in a hotel.

The height of the shower and the bed. But this is an issue for me always since I'm 2m.

Very good

The staff and hospitality were amazing. Hands down one of the most friendly and accommodating staff, all very attentive. Hotel very close to main strip of restaurants and coffee shops. Loved the detail and decor of the hotel, I can tell everything was well thought out, see if you can spot the man in a resting sombrero.

Bed was a little firm for my liking, but room was very clean.

In all my years traveling I have never encountered as good a service as we got at Hotel Casa de Gandhi. An example could be, that we told them about our perfume allergies in the last minute and they responded and executed and adjusted to it immediately. Another example is that one of us was food poisoned from a local restaurant and again they were a big help. All of the standard things like cleaning and bed standards were in the absolute top and it was the most charming of places. We can’t recommend this place enough.

There’s not one things to dislike about this place.

Wonderful stay, great location

room very cosy, loads of hot water for showers, staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us (despite language barrier at times!), allowed us to check in early when we arrived off of our overnight bus which was incredibly kind

our room was next to the road which could be a little loud sometimes

Loved everything about this family-run hotel! The staff- Anthony, Mauricio, Carla, and el Señor, were the best. They truly made our stay special. The hotel is so beautiful and nostalgic. There simply is no reason not to book this place. It is perfect.

Hotel Casa de Ghandi is appropriately named. It is as quiet as it is beautiful. The entire hotel is a work of art. It is rustic but in a really cool and creative way. It is a family run operation and everyone is so nice and helpful. The owner also has a small leather doors shop on the premises, and he fixed my wife's bag leather bag for free. There are only 8 rooms in the hotel but it does have a small bar and restaurant with good food. For the price, it will be difficult to find a better place.

Amazing stay!

This place is fantastic!!! We arrived with the night bus in San Cristobal and were at the hotel already at 9 am. We asked if it was possible to check in early (because we felt dirty from the bus). Our room was not yet available so we got a free upgrade to a bigger room! And we were met with fresh coffee, sweets and Pox (the local alcohol). The room was exquisite, super clean and quiet. There was even heating (it gets quite cold in SC at night). We did not need it but it was very nice. Also, the staff helped us with ordering a taxi at 6 am even though I think that was outside of office hours. To sum up: best place I ever stayed at, friendliest staff EVER.

one small tip for the hotel: we accidentally locked ourselves out of the bathroom at night, perhaps keep a key to the bathroom in the hotel room?

A memorable experience!

Hotel Casa de Gandhi really goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The owner offered me different types of sherry to warm me up during the fridge mornings. His family was always ready to assist and waited with me during an early morning checkout and helped me in a pinch with a lavandería! Also they have an adorable cat that is extremely friendly as well!!
