Location was lovely - tucked away but close to shops and restaurants
It is a cosy little cottage, kitchen had everything we needed
Beds were very comfy.....we all had a good night's sleep
Think there should be a gate in the kitchen at the top of the stairs leading to the lower bedroom. Would be a worry if small children stayed
TV was very small
The sofas are due a clean

Brilliant location - well furnished. Helpful staff
Not needed for our short visit. But a washing machine would be a useful addition. The provider did very helpfully offer to assist with laundry if needed. Not an issue for our short stay.

Cottage & location
Only one point, no shower mat in shower room. As we all showered this was important. They brought more towels when requested so it was sorted
Bathroom could have a hand shower eg to wash your hair.

A great location, just off the High Street and near the beach. A fun little cottage with lovely views across the rooftops from all windows and out to sea from one bedroom.
It was really difficult to have a decent wash. The bath ran a small amount of hot water for ages to allow a tiny puddle bath or the shower had to be run for 5 minutes before you could have a hot one. I had a cold shower as could not get this working. This was not value for money and I left feeling unwashed.

for the money, id expect a little bit of cleaning especially the mould from the down stairs bathroom, also the cups and glasses were sticky and dirty, & investing in a proper tv - just those few things would improve it hugely

It was warm
Parking was a nightmare and had to wash everything before using ie glasses and cutlery also outside was scruffy

It’s quirkiness h
With a toddler, it would have been good to have been advised of a stair gate to the lower floor stairs

The location, could walk into Aldeburgh easily. Quirky property, with three floors but not good if you can’t manage stairs.
The outside, front and back gardens could do with some TLC. No where to sit outside on a hot day which we were lucky to have. Just needs a tidy up with plants and hanging baskets to compliment the lovely cottage. Also table and chairs at the back to have breakfast or lunch.

Great location very short walk to high street and beach. Free parking outside the house Well equipped.
Even with instructions we couldn’t control the central heating it seemed to go on and off at random times. Bedside lamp in smaller bedroom didn’t reach plug socket so couldn’t be used.

very centrally located. Really comfortable beds and very clean

Town house over 3 floors, well laid out, light, recently decorated. Very near town, 5 minutes from beach, and with walks around the residential area. 2 bathrooms, well equipped kitchen though small, with dining area.
The basement bedroom was damp so it was difficult to dry towels in the tiny en-suite although there was outside access to a drying line. not enough recycling bins! the houses back onto each other and have decking so there can be a bit of noise at night although this usually stopped by 11pm. no outside space to sit in apart from the front yard (which is a sunny spot)

good location
bath
tv miniscule ,17"?
sofa uncomfortable
one fridge unusable,a second new fridge sat there switched off, why?

Location superb. Well equipped - 2 fridges, one for drinks! Beds comfy, slept well, liked white linen and towels.
Staff in office very helpful
Whole house could do with a bit of TLC, damp patches, hand rail on stairs missing, mould in downstairs shower, musty smell, and outside seating area not very appealing. Whole garden/ path needs a tidy up.
TV could be bigger. Curtains should be replaced with blinds- easier to keep clean and dust free. Could do with Shower in upstairs bathroom.

Great location very close to all the town's amenities and well equipped

Charming little house, very light and a great location.
The back garden is not really usable because of the difficult levels. Some simple trellis and decent seating would definitely help. The front garden was absolutely fine and an afternoon sun trap.

Aldeburgh has lots of cottages to let and they are small!! We stayed as a couple in April and were comfortable but would have felt very cramped with three children, even in the summer with the sun shining. The cottage is very close to the high street and beach and is quite well presented (good pictures and décor, Neff oven, clean white bed linen and trowels, plenty of hot water).
The outdoor space lets it down however (both of its neighbouring cottages had some outdoor space but you would not want to sit outdoors here) and there are some odd false economies (a VERY small television and a random collection of crockery and glasses)

Key safe
Not enough heaters, originally booked for 4 but due to COVID only 2 went but we had to move the heaters out of the unused bedrooms to stay warm- if my parents in their 80’s had come it would not of been warm enough.
