Luxury villa, with refined decoration, not terraced, completely renovated in 2012, in the charming and quiet area of Mas Mato, 5 minutes walk from the beach of Sa Riera, and 3 km from the pretty medieval village of Begur. It offers excellent accommodation for 12 people and has a private heated swimming pool, a garden with landscaped area, numerous terraces and an awning; ideal for holidays with family or friends.
The villa on 3 levels is located on a beautifully wooded plot.
• On the ground floor, it includes a living room with fireplace, a dining room and an American kitchen, which open onto a large terrace with magnificent sea views.
• The lower floor has 5 bedrooms: a master suite with its own bathroom (walk-in shower, bath and WC), 3 bedrooms each with 2 single beds convertible into double beds. These rooms open onto a large terrace with sea views. A children's room with 2 beds completes them. 3 shower rooms and 2 separate WCs serve this level.
• The floor located at the pool level is made up of a double bedroom with shower room and separate WC and a large living room with American kitchen, opening onto a large teak terrace by the pool. This level also includes a large open canopy which houses a garden furniture and a billiards table.
• The 5X12m swimming pool, protected by an automatic protective cover, is surrounded by lawn and offers a large relaxation area.
• On the roof of the house, a large solarium offers breathtaking views of the bay of Sa Riera.

Great holiday in Costa Brava
We had a pleasant stay at the villa, which is beautiful and spacious enough for a bigger group. The villa had everything we needed for a week’s stay, the big pool was fantastic for the kids and the view was great. Also the location is very convenient - several beaches, restaurants and small supermarket all in walking distance. The walking path along the seashore towards the beaches Roja, Raco and Pals was really beautiful, and there are several more restuarnts and shops by the Pals beach. Also very idyllic villages nearby to explore, so especially if you have a car in your disposal, you should visit the old towns of Begur and Pals.
We can warmly recommend the villa for a great stay at Costa Brava!

A wonderful family holiday in a lovely villa in a stunning location.
We enjoyed a fantastic week in this beautiful villa. It was in a great location and had everything we needed for a family group aged between 3 and 81 - especially the pool!
We received a very warm welcome from Juan Miguel on check-in and he was on hand in minutes when we had an issue with the water/fuse.
We highly recommend and hope to return.

Superbe maison dans un environnement agréable.
Ceci étant nous aurions apprécié d'être informée de la construction d'un complexe immobilier à proximité car le réveil au marteau piqueur ce n'est pas top.
De même malgré le choix de l'option piscine chauffée, celle-ci n'a jamais déposé 18 degrés.
Aurais mérité une meilleure note avec une piscine chauffée et sans chantier à proximité.

Estupenda casa
La casa es estupenda, vistas increíbles, decoración con mucho gusto, muy bien equipada. Lo mejor, la zona de la piscina.
La única pega es que al ser 3 plantas tiene bastantes escaleras pero no ha sido ningún problema para nosotros.
Se puede ir andando a la cala sa riera lo cual en la Costa Brava es importante por la dificultad para aparcar. Hay bastantes escaleras hasta llegar abajo eso si, pero es una buena forma de ganarse la comida. Y siempre se puede ir por la carretera si prefieres no subir escaleras.
Haude y las dos personas que se ocupan allí nos han solventado todas las dudas rápidamente.
En resumen, vacaciones de 10.

Toller Familienurlaub in Sa Riera
Das Haus hat eine perfekte Aufteilung der Zimmer für 3 Familien und bietet großzügigen Platz. Es ist modern und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Es gibt genügend Platz um sich zurückzuziehen und es ist alles da um vernünftig zusammen zu essen. Die Lage des Hauses ist fast perfekt, wenn man von den ca. 300 Stufen zur Bucht absieht. Für uns war es kein Problem. Die Aussicht von den Terassen aufs Meer ist schon Erholung.
Der Pool ist schön groß, man hat genügend Platz drum herum. Es gibt einen überdachten Billard- /Tischtennistisch, welcher gut genutzt wurde.
Sa Riera ist ein kleiner Ort, es gibt nicht viel, aber einen gut sortierten Supermarkt, ein paar kleine Restaurants und eine wunderschöne Bucht mit vielen Möglichkeiten zu wandern. Man kommt schnell in andere Buchten und man ist auch zu Fuß schnell in dem schönen Dorf Begur!
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus war bei der Ankunft sauber und die Kommunikation mit Haude war immer freundlich und informativ. Haude hat bei Fragen immer schnell geantwortet. Wir können den Vermieter und das Haus auf jeden Fall empfehlen!

The outdoor space of this villa is wonderful but the inside leaves a lot to be desired
The balconies and pool area are great and the location is very handy. The indoors lacks comfort and cleanliness. The living space had a consistent bug problem and there was a smell in the kitchen I couldn’t get rid of. The bedrooms were plentiful but the beds were broken and uncomfortable and the bedding was worn and stained.we spent a lot of time outdoors as the inside was just not comfortable.

Les vacances, les vraies !!!
La villa est vraiment magnifique, conforme aux attentes avec une vue splendide sur la mer.
Les enfants ont vraiment beaucoup apprécié la piscine chauffée, et les grands aussi d'ailleurs.
De plus elle est très bien située pour aller découvrir les nombreuse petites criques magnifiques de la région avec la première, Sa Riera, accessible en 5mn à pieds par les escaliers à droite de la villa (10mn au retour pour remonter les marches !!), et les nombreux petits villages médiévaux aux alentours. Gerone et Figueres ne sont pas loins non plus.
Begur est aussi 1 village très mignon et agréable (petites boutiques très sympas pour le shopping).
Le Printemps est surement la meilleure période pour s'y rendre (nous y étions du 14 au 21 avril 2018) car il y a peu de monde.
Le top du top : le peit dej au soleil, toutes les baies vitrées ouvertes, vue sur la mer, ou au bord de la piscine, le rêve......
Un grands MERCI à Josephine et Juan Miguel qui nous ont chaleureusement accueillis, et à Haude pour sa disponibilité pour répondre à nos questions très rapidement.
Nous recommandons cette villa sans problème.

SEJOUR MERVEILLEUX
Nous avons passé une semaine de vacance entre amis dans cette maison que nous avons trouvé très agréable, très bien aménagée et très bien équipée.
Idéalement située à quelques minutes à pied de la plage et une vue magnifique sur la mer !
Tout y est pour le plaisir des petits et des grands: très grande piscine sécurisée et chauffée, une cuisine d'été, ping-pong, billard, cuisine parfaitement équipée et décoration soignée.
Un accueil très chaleureux par Juan Miguel et sa femme Joséphine, toujours disponibles si besoin.
Nous avons même eu recours à Joséphine pour un service de baby-sitting et tout s'est passé à merveille.
C'est avec grand plaisir que nous retournerons dans cette maison !

Not as good as expected.
The dishwasher and ICE cube mashine didn't work. We was told upon arrival that it just happend, but that was not true. Very disapionting. The cleaning was done the day before we left... Too many stairs, and the Beach was not as close to the house as promised.

Maison très acceuillante
Nous avons passé un bien agréable séjour malgré l'absence de TV , belle vue sur la mer et plages très accessibles avec de très jolies sentiers côtiers.
Nous étions 9 adultes et 3 enfants et la maison était largement suffisante.
Les extérieurs sont agréables ainsi que la piscine chauffée qui a été très utilisée malgré la température extérieure pas toujours élevée..
Nous espérons y revenir l'année prochaine

Relaxing one week stay in a magnificent villa!
We had a warm welcome by Miguel, who explained everything and left the keys to us, when we arrived late in the evening.
The house has a fantastic view from the terrace over Sa Riera to the sea and it was really a pleasure to sit there for brewakfast, lunch and dinner.
There was nothing missing in a well equipped kitchen. All rooms were absolutely clean and the beds were comfortable.
A highlite for our youngsters was the big pool. They used it in the morning throughout the whole day and sometimes even in the evening, when it was lightened.
We alreade are looking foreward, when we have the next opportunity to spend our hollidays at Costa Brava and for sure, then we would like to stay in this charming villa again.

This was a real extraordinary site to stay.
A house with everything you need for your holliday, clean and bricht compartments, four bathrooms, two kittchens a Lot of Differential places to ist together with your family and friends. A huge heated pool for pleasure of young and old.
We had a great week and we are confident that we will come back again.

Magnifique villa de charme en catalogne - Cadre et prestations somptueux
Nous avons passés 3 semaines de vacances inoubliables. La villa est magnifique, la décoration intérieure de toute beauté, et la vue à couper le souffle. Les trois niveaux permettent à chacun de vivre à son rythme et aux enfants de circuler naturellement. Entre les petit déjeuners au bord de la piscine, les diners sur la terrasse supérieure surplombant la mer, et les déjeuners à Sa Tuna, petite crique jouxtant Sa Riera, vous pourrez courir si vous êtes sportif, en descendant sur la plage et prendre votre premier bain au soleil levant dans une des petites criques.
Les environs sont également de toute beauté avec des randonnées sur les chemins de ronde, toutes plus belles les unes que les autres. Une chose est sûre : le temps s'est arrêté pour nous pendant 3 semaines!
Et pour finir, nous voudrions remercier les charmants propriétaires de ce havre de paix qui se sont toujours rendus disponibles. L'été 2016 aura été pour nous une très belle surprise. Mille mercis!!

We travelled as a family of seven teens/adults with a couple of friends. The villa layout was ideal as our friends had their own space at pool level and our family were easily accommodated on the middle floor. The villa was very clean and well equipped we had meals together and bbqs on the main kitchen level, plenty of seating for large groups. Kids loved table tennis and pool competitions and swimming pool is huge. Beach access via steps beside the villa only ten minutes down but slightly longer coming back up depending on your fitness. Lovely walk to next (nudist) beach which has some water sports banana boat and water skiing, easy drive to estartit for good diving and jet skis. 1hr drive to Dali museum and Girona, 2 hrs to Barcelona airport. Theres a nice hotel - la convent at end of street 2 mins walk and half a dozen bar/restaurants at the shingle beach. Begur is more of a walk (without a footpath) 5 mins in car, lovely village, they even put on a festival for us - festa dindians. We would definitely return to this villa, also thanks to Juan who made us very welcome. If I had to be picky, kids complained wifi wasnt good but I saw that as a plus!

Très belle villa
Nous avons apprécié dans cette belle villa ses volumes ,sa facilité de cohabitation à plusieurs couples et enfants ,sa belle et grande piscine , sa vue remarquable dont on ne peut se lasser . Le séjour à ete d autant plus agréable que nous nous sommes très bien entendus avec Joséphine très sympathique et serviable et de plus parlant très bien le francais . Si nous le pouvons , nous aimerions revenir .

Superbe villa avec bel environnement
Nous avons séjourné une semaine en famille dans cette jolie villa de charme offrant de très belles prestations et une belle exposition. La vue sur mer est très appréciable. Rien ne manque pour vivre agréablement. Là deco est parfaite (de bon goût ). Malgré la saison peu avancée, nous avons pu profiter de la piscine et de ses abords.
Nous sommes tous ravis de nos vacances et serions prêts à séjourner à nouveau dans cette villa. D'autant plus que les divers contacts avec les propriétaires et Juan Miguel et Josephine ont été très agréables

hemos pasado una semana en la casa 6 adultos y 4 niños. La casa esta muy bien equipada. hay de todo lo que te puedas imaginar...excepto televisison....aunque no la hemos echado en falta porque entre pin-pon, billar, multiples terrazas al sol...esas fantasticas vistas...la tranquilidad de la urbanizacion....y estar a 5 minutos de las fantasticas calas de begur..... ha sido fantastico!
las habitaciones limpias...5 baños excepcionales.....menaje de sobra...... sin duda repetiremos !!

una casa enorme y acogedora. completamente equipada....mucho espacio para los niños...pasamos una semana fantastica. Todo muy limpio y ordenado. en una tranquila urbanización con unas vistas impresionantes.

Die Villa hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Ausstattung war fantastisch. In der Küche hat es an nichts gemangelt.
Der Pool ist sehr groß. Und abends wunderschön beleuchtet.
Sitzgelegenheiten sowie Liegen sind mehr als ausreichend vorhanden. Und in einem sehr guten Zustand.
Der Ausblick von der Frühstücksterrasse ist ein Traum.
Das einzige was uns nicht gefallen hat, war der Barbecue Grill. Der war nicht zu gebrauchen. Leider.
Krankheitsbedingt waren wir anstatt wie geplant 10 Erwachsene nur 6.
Das war auch gut so. Für 10 Erwachsene sind die Schlafzimmer zwar ausreichend, aber 2 Schlafzimmer sind doch sehr klein (eher für Kinder gedacht)
Ich würde die Villa auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
Auch die Umgebung von Begur ist sehr abwechslungsreich.

Nos plus belles vacances !!
Magnifique, dedans, dehors, piscine (dont on a du mal à sortir) et plages, balades dans les alentours. Begur est de plus un très joli village, plein de charme. La maison est telle que décrite, mieux qu'en photos. Un bon point supplémentaire pour les salles de bains, nombreuses et très pratique, pour l'équipement de la cuisine et le bon goût des propriétaires. L'espace est très agréable et les rangements nombreux. Bravo !
Deux petits points toutefois : une voile d'ombrage ou un grand parasol seraient les bienvenus sur la terrasse du rez. Difficile de s'y tenir pour déjeuner. Egalement une douche toute simple aux abords de la piscine...

Magnifique, dedans, dehors, piscine, plage et balades à proximité ! nous étions tous comblés.
De l'espace pour une grande famille, de quoi cuisiner et ranger, un bon point supplémentaire pour les salles de bains.
Begur est également une très jolie petite ville pleine de charme.
Merci de proposer ce bel endroit.
Deux petits points à relever :
un store, un grand parasol, ou une voile pour faire un peu d'ombre sur la terrasse du rez serait le bienvenu ainsi qu'une douche toute simple près de la piscine.

Prachtig vakantiehuis in mooie omgeving
Fijn vakantiehuis van alle gemakken voorzien. Wij hebben hier een heerlijke week gehad met de familie (13 pers). Genoeg privacy door de vele terrassen. Prachtig zwembad met genoeg zitmogelijkheden. In de buurt genoeg bezienswaardigheden op korte afstand en leuke strandjes.

Excellent séjour!
Bien qu en plein mois de décembre, nous avons passé à 12 un séjour de Noêl très chaleureux dans la maison de Haude et Jacques- olivier.Les vues depuis la maison sont magnifiques , il y a des terrasses un peu partout. La maison est très bien équipée, il ne manque rien et surtout elle est très bien entretenue. Une mention spéciale pour les salles de bain...Nous avons aussi pu profiter de très belles balades et des conseils des propriétaires sans oublier Joséphine et Miguel qui nous ont accueillis. Bref, à recommander sans hésitation!

We stayed in this villa for 7 days at the end of June and early July. There were 14 of us in total (7 adults and 7 children). We had a wonderful stay and found it hard to leave when it was time to go. The villa has recently been renovated and was very neat and clean. It has lovely terraces on every floor, even a charming roof deck, with stunning views of the ocean. The pool was a highlight as it is big and very fun for both children and adults. It has a safety cover which we appreciated and it was nice to be able to sit on the upstairs terrace and watch the kids in the pool. The villa is well-furnished, comfortable and well-equipped. It is also in a great location and on a very nice street. We loved the town of Begur and felt that it is the best vacation spot in Costa Brava. Sa Riera beach is maybe a 7 min walk (down some stairs) from the house. Many other beaches are within 10-15 min drive from the house. We also visited several other towns in Costa Brava and found this villa to be a great base location. You will not regret renting this villa. The owner is also very nice and easy to work with.
