Cottage was lovely one min from beach, clean and well equipped. Only draw back were steep stairs, I am 75 and found it a bit of a struggle. Everything about the weeks holiday was really good, the area was wonderful.

Nice cottage but a bit austere. A rug in front of the fire would have made it cosier on a wet night.
We were surprised with so many self catering premises that the village didn't have a better shop
The Village stores was very expensive with a very poor range of products. Other shops only seemed to be open on the whim of the owner. The chap in the Dyfi dog shop couldn't be bothered to say hello when we walked in so we didn't stay.
Coast bistro was great though unlike the Dovey Inn which was filthy and run down.
Overall though a nice break.

Two sisters reasonably fit in late 60’s with their dogs. Ridiculously steep stairs. Very thin mattress on the single bed I slept on. Nice bathroom well equipped kitchen. Tiny front yard.
Aberdyfi was disappointing. It has sold its soul to air b& b’s holiday cottages. Very little sense of a community. No Welsh spoken. Had to leave early on compassionate grounds - no refund- the most expensive holiday I never had.

Great stay in Aberdovey
Fantastic location close to all amenities in the village.
Cottage smaller than anticipated especially downstairs.
Staircase to first floor was incredibly steep. Rather than ‘quite steep’
Loved our stay overall.
