About this chalet rental

Nestled in the heart of the Vosges forest, located between the village of Xonrupt-Longemer and that of Valtin, 4km from Gérardmer, the chalet Les Pins will welcome you in the greatest comfort.
Built in solid pine and built on a mountainside, it faces due south at 800 meters above sea level.
We come to retire to do good, disconnect, recharge and take the time to observe the nature around us.

Calm and serenity emerge from the panoramic terrace in fine weather.
After a day of walking in the forest, and a moment of relaxation in the sauna, we come to drink a tea, leaf through a book by the fireside.
The chalet Les Pins is at your disposal for a pleasant, relaxing or sporting stay, with the family or for evenings with friends (raclette, pierrade, fondue).

In season, the initiates will indulge in mushroom picking, listening to the deer slab in the surrounding forests or of course mountain sports alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing ...
Nature, mountain spirit, total disconnection. Welcome to the Vosges mountains. A paradise for skiers in winter, and for hikers in summer.

Within a 20 km radius you will find 5 Mountain resorts totaling 100 downhill trails and 200 kilometers of cross-country skiing…
The Hautes Vosges is also the densest hiking stadium in Europe. Several long-distance trails cross the department. The GR 531, the GR 533 or the GR 5 known as Holland-Mediterranean which follows the crest line and allows a wonderful discovery of the panoramas of the massif.

We will spend another stay in this accommodation. We had a great time despite bad weather. the house has fantastic facilities. Whether in the kitchen or the toys in the baskets - whether for children or for adults - there is something for everyone.

We had the pleasure to stay at the Chalet with 9 people over a weekend and really enjoyed it there. The surrounding area is a great place to spend a relaxing weekend in the weekend and the small town of Geradmer offers everything you need for everyday life. Even though I would recommend the chalet and our hosts, I was a bit unsure about it at first because we needed to transfer a part of the money as well as an additional larger deposit to a bank account in Luxembourg. We were initially suspicious of this because it seemed to be highly unusual, but we nevertheless decided to transfer the money as some reviews have spoken of similar experiences. In general, the chalet is very well equipped and has everything that you might need (sauna, bbq, large kitchen etc.). It is understandable and was clearly communicated at the beginning that you have to bring your own bedding or pay an additional surcharge, but for the price of the chalet we would have liked at least a towel in the bathroom or a roll of toilet paper more. All in all, we had a great weekend and can recommend the chalet but also need to deduct one star and give 4/5.

Waren als Freundesgruppe da und hat alles super geklappt. Vermieter haben bei Rückfragen immer schnell geantwortet und sah sogar besser aus als auf den Fotos. Gerne wieder.

Le chalet était très bien, mais le gestionnaire de la location était plus rigoureux pour les locataires que pour lui-même. Si je n'avais pas été attentive, il me faisait payer deux fois la taxe de séjour ainsi que des draps que nous n’avions pas loué. Par ailleurs, il y avait aussi la nappe sale et des assiettes manquantes. Sinon, c’était quand même très chouette !

Jeux pour les enfants, petits et grands, surtout quand le temps n'était pas au beau fixe. Ballades aux alentours très enrichissantes , lacs et marchés nocturnes agréables, pâturages avec troupeaux de vaches et leurs fameuses cloches exceptionnelles .un peu plus de soleil aurait été le bien venus. Sinon très bien.

Gemütlich und toll ausgestattetes (auch für Kinder) und gepflegtes Haus mit allem was man braucht. Tolle Aussicht! Wunderschöner See in Gehdistanz. Etwas hellhörig und für 14 Erwachsene wäre es eng. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Toller Ausblick in den grünen Vogesen

Wir hatten einen tollen 5-Tage Aufenthalt (Anfang Oktober) in der wundervoll eingerichteten Unterkunft "Chalet les Pins". Das Wetter war leider nicht besonders, weshalb wir jedoch umso mehr die Vorzüge dieser Unterkunft genießen konnten. Diese ist zweckmäßig und angenehm eingerichtet und bietet allein mit der (kleinen) Sauna, dem Billiardtisch, dem Boule-Feld und den anderen Accesoirs ausreichend Abwechslung. Der Blick auf die umliegende Landschaft ist wunderschön, wenn denn nicht nebelverhangen. Leider offenbart die Region abseits des Winters aber auch einen kleinen Makel. Es ist insgesamt nicht allzu viel los, weshalb man mitunter Schwierigkeiten hat am morgen ordentliche Baguettes zu bekommen. Das Örtchen Xonrupt besteht überwiegend aus Touristenunterkünften und versprüht dadurch nicht allzu viel Charme. Dennoch bietet gerade diese Unterkunft mit ihrer Lage am Hang und mit einem moosbewachsenen Wald dahinter ausreichend Privatsphäre und Ruhe. Wir können die Unterkunft mehr als empfehlen, auch wenn man für die ein oder andere Aktivität noch ein paar Kilometer fahren muss.

Nous etions 8 adultes et 6 enfants, soit 14 personnes. Chalet tres confortable et bien equipe. Service d accueil parfait et relations faciles avec les proprietaires. Nous avons particulierement apprecie la vue, la tranquilite du site et le jardin attenant a une foret, ce qui fut un reve pour les enfants. Les enfants etaient encore petits (3 a 12 ans). Le chalet est davantage concu pour 12 personnes que 14 s'il s agit d adultes. L annonce le mentionne d ailleurs clairement.

Chalet bien agencé pour un groupe de 14 personnes avec une belle pièce de vie. La cuisine et les équipements proposés sont adaptés pour un grand groupe. Le sauna est agréable et facile d'utilisation. Nous avons passé un très bon week-end.

Nous avons passés une très belle semaine. Le chalet est superbe, illuminé toute la journée plein sud, très chaleureux et le lieu est magnifique avec les lacs à deux pas, la foret tout autour du chalet propice aux ballade. Toute la famille a été ravie !

Très beau séjour en famille au chalet Les Pins. La déco, les équipements, le sauna, le billard, la vue, les chambres, tout était magnifique. Mention spéciale aux 2 bouteilles de champagne trouvées dans le frigo à notre arrivée et offerte pour Noël :)

The chalet was just perfect for our group from the USA and the UK. It could have fit 12 people quite comfortably. It's sometimes hard to tell from photographs, but the interior was roomy and bright, and the large deck with its gorgeous views was delightful. Delphine and Olivier could not have been more helpful to us. We did some hiking and cycling and just wish we could have stayed longer!

The house is very suitable for a group of 14 people. Because of the open sliding doors on the ground and the first floor you are in the middle of nature. The house feels very open with great views into the valley. We made beautiful hikes directly from the chalet and didn’t have to look for anything else with the car. Fantastic chalet. Despite some nasty weather we spent a wonderful week at Chalet Les Pins. The Chalet is perfectly situated in a prominent spot with an excellent view and surroundings. The house is very well kept and offers everything you need in best condition. Even with (partly) 14 people there was enough space and equipment for a comfortable stay. The communication with the owner and the representative on site was perfect. We will for sure come back!
