This was a wonderful place to stay. The pictures correspond very accurately to the location itself. Walking distance to the Abbey and the fort nearby. Beautiful walks along the coastline to the village La Flotte (about 15 minutes away). The host was wonderful welcoming us. Loved the two welcome gifts, very nice touch! This was a very quiet location, no cars, no loud groups, just the calm of morning birds and light wind. We highly recommend!

Very nice location with an amazing view

All very good for families and individuals which do no need much external entertainment. Quite place with amazing view. The object is equipped with all you need. Bicycles are “a must” to rent or you bring your own. Local contact person Maria gives us an great welcome, it was much appreciated. We will come back for sure.

Excellent gîte pour un couple! Vue imprenable sur l'océan d'un coté, jardin avec plantes aromatiques de l'autre, bref de quoi suivre le soleil (présent du premier au dernier jour) - le matin coté jardin, l'après-midi coté mer! Accueil chaleureux et parfait de Marie! Demandez lui conseil, elle vous répondra parfaitement!

Hübsches kleines Haus in ruhiger Lage mit Meerblick. Mit dem Fahrrad sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Das Internet funktioniert einigermaßen gut. Die Küche ist klein aber gut ausgestattet. Für zwei Personen ideal.

Nous garderons un très beau souvenir de notre séjour sur l'île de Ré, de par l'emplacement de la location avec ce point de vue magnifique sur la mer, la propreté du logement et l'accueil très chaleureux de Marie à notre arrivée avec l'objectif de rendre notre séjour le plus agréable possible.

Well equipped little house, fantastic view over the ocean and within walking distance from La FLOTTE town. Minor remarks: quality of toilet seat, we did not manage to light the gas oven (lighter was also empty). In general perfect stay! Good beds.

La maison est située dans une petite copropriété au calme. Avec une vue sur la mer. Le logement est très propre. Bien décoré avec tout le nécessaire. Virginie, la personne qui nous a reçu est très aimable et serviable. Je tiens à la féliciter sur la tenue de la maison. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est telle que décrite, à la fois au calme face à la mer et proche de La Flotte, idéalement située pour à la fois se reposer et visiter l’île. Merci à Virginie pour son accueil sympathique et sa disponibilité. Les propriétaires sont également sympathiques et à l'écoute. Seul bémol , la gestion par Homelidays pour laquelle nous sommes extrêmement insatisfaits. Nous passons pourtant par ce site depuis de nombreuses années, mais après cette réservation, c'est certainement la dernière fois

De woning voldoet aan de elementaire woonnormen tussen thuis wonen en op verlof verblijven. Mooi uitzicht op de omgeving, goed gelegen als uitvalbasis voor fietsen en wandelen. Enig onderhoud aan de woning buitenzijde en tuintje is noodzakelijk.

We (married couple around 60) had a lovely time here. The place was so peaceful - you could almost hear the silence. We had lovely views from the back terrace - overlooking the La Flotte walk path and the sea. We could just go to the bottom of the garden and walk or run along the La Flotte pathway 5min bike or 20 min walk to La Flotte. And a big thank you to Virginie for ensuring there were no problems during our stay

Appartement très lumineux, avec belle vue mer et au calme

Maison située en dehors de la Flotte, mais en 10 minutes en vélo ou 30 minutes à pied on rejoint le centre de la Flotte. Très bien située au calme, avec une belle vue mer. 2 terrasses, une donnant sur la mer et l'autre côté jardin où l on peut profiter d'un BBQ et d'une plancha. Living très lumineux, cuisine bien équipée (le hic un peu petite, manque surtout un plan de travail), chambre OK (2 lits de 140 superposés....) et un canapé lit dans le séjour. Convient bien pour une petite famille (nous étions 3), peut être plus difficile si on est avec 2 grands ados.... Maison propre, bien équipée et l'environnement est également bien entretenu. J'y reviendrais volontiers.

Perfekt für 2 Personen!! - Die 180°, absolut ungestörte Aussicht von der Terrasse ist einfach genial! Man findet dort einen grossen Tisch für 6 Personen sowie 2 Liegestühle. Auf der anderen Seite des Hauses hat es einen kleinen Garten, ebenfalls völlig privat und ruhig. - Wohnzimmer sehr gross, schön möbliert, gemütlich und lichtdurchflutet. - Unbedingt Velos mieten (im Dorf hat es mehrere Anbieter, Reservation empfehlenswert) - das ganze Leben auf der Insel findet per Velo statt. - Das Schlafzimmer ist relativ klein, zwei französische Doppelbetten als Stockbett übereinander. Schon sehr beengt, zu viert in einem Raum. Dann lieber die Kinder auf dem Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer schlafen lassen, mit Schlafsäcken. Aber am besten einfach für 2 Personen mieten. - Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Absolut ruhig gelegen, La Flotte ist mit dem Rad in 5 Min., zu Fuss in 15-20 Min. erreichbar. - Schöner kleiner Strand in La Flotte. - Sensationelles Eis bei La Martinière!!

House & location great. Do check if you need to take bedding; it was not clear to us. There is no welcome pack so we had no idea to get the oven to work or recommended local tourist sites. The owners could have been a bit more helpful. La Flotte itself is wonderful. plenty of sea front restaurants and idyllic small streets to explore.
