The beautiful house is perfectly located near the ramparts in a quiet area of Langres. Great view on the surroundings. Very well equiped house to spend a long weekend. Very friendly owners. Definetely a place to go back.

Spent a week in this lovely house, which was well equipped and clean. Easy parking outside (free).
Lovely views overlooking the ramparts, fields & lakes.
The city was full of history, from their famous Langres cheese, Diderot & history of cutlery manufacture.
The owner Pascal & his wife were extremely friendly and a pleasure to deal with.

This is a house with a character, a history, and a great view. The city is remarkable, the surrounding areas in the valley (the lake, the Marne, the canal) are worth a bike trip. The host is very friendly and helpful. The house is large and located in a quiet spot of the city, while close to everything you would like to see.

It is a very roomy home with a lovely view over the ramparts to the lake. It is a small walk to the shops and we had a great stay.

We enjoyed a few July days in Langres on our way to Switzerland. The house is up-side down with first floor reception rooms enjoying far-reaching views, with bedrooms on the cooler ground floor.
Langres is a charming old citadel town and this period house overlooks the eastern ramparts. It's clean and comfortable with period features... plus wifi, all the kitchen gadgets you'll need and a quiet garden.

Excellent séjour
Nous étions à Langres pour des retrouvailles familiales. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par le propriétaire, la maison était parfaite pour accueillir tous nos proches et conforme aux descriptifs, rien n'a manqué à notre séjour. La vue depuis le balcon est très agréable Un point fort pour la literie qui nous a paru d'excellente qualité ! Au plaisir d'une prochaine visite à Langres

The house has lots of antique charm and elegance, rare in a modern vacation rentals world. The town is so enchanting that we dropped the idea of traveling to Dijon or Nancy here and just stayed in Langres. Great host, comfortable environment. We'll surely be back!!

Cette maison est parfaitement placée pour visiter Langres et avoir tout à porté de main. La maison a tout ce qu’il faut dedans et un merci tout particulier aux hôtes qui ont été a l’écoute, communiquant et bienveillant du début jusqu’à la fin.

Grande maison décorées avec goût,
impeccable, à l'intérieur des remparts . Des places de parking gratuites à côté. Jolie région, nous reviendrons l'été, il y a beaucoup d'animation et des jardins à visiter. Super contact avec les propriétaires.

C'est comme un château
C'était l'impression des enfants qui n'ont jamais été en étranger ni vu d'autre chose que la côte allemande.
La communication avec Pascale a été super, toujours disponible et très très gentil. L'accueil aussi à été chaleureux, ils nous ont montré tous avant de nous laisser à notre découverte.
La maison est grande, donc super pour une grande famille comme la nôtre, on a très bien mangé ici avec 8 personnes.
Il y a tous ce qu'il faut dans les armoires et dans la cuisine, comme dans toutes les maisons à louer il faut certainement apporter des choses personnelles à cuisiner.mais c'est normal.
Ces trois jours ici nous ont vraiment plu et les enfants sont ravis et veulent retourner. À la prochaine alors!!

Very nice house, super location
We were 2 families with young children. The house was perfect, very spacious and well furnished. The 2 bathrooms were very practical.
Just in case you want to prepare some meals at the house, be prepared to bring basics like salt, dish washing liquid, oil etc
The owner is very easy and responsive in terms of communication and very helpful giving tips and hints on what to do.
Langres and the surrounding is wonderful with lots of things to see and do.

Silvester
Wir waren über Silvester eine Woche in dem schönen, gemütlichen Haus. Pascal ist ein sehr hilfsbereiter Vermieter und wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden. Das Haus ist großzügig mit antiken Möbeln ausgestattet. Die Sitzgelegenheiten (Couch) hätten etwas konfortabler sein können. Trotzdem würden wir jederzeit wieder dieses Haus buchen auch unser Hund hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt.

un séjour magnifique
Un endroit magnifique, une vue à couper le souffle. La maison est magnifique , propre et très confortable. Le village est vraiment très beau, et il fait bon de s'y promener, on se sent dans une autre époque. Pascal et Martine sont des gens très agréable et nous ont mis très à l'aise. C'est vraiment un endroit que je recommande, le seul point négatif est que ce fut trop court. Nous aurions dû rester quelques jours de plus pour profiter de l'endroit . Peut-être une prochaine fois, si on retourne dans le coin. Merci à Pascal et Martine

Beeindruckendes Ferienhaus 22.07.-5.08.2017
Der Aufenhalt in Langres war sehr schön. Das Haus ist zauberhaft eingerichtet, hat alle Utensilien, die über 14 Tage benötigt werden, zur Verfügung und das Ehepaar Deze ist offen, freundlich und erfüllt ausgesprochene Wünsche. Allein der Blick aus dem Esszimmer auf den nahe gelegenen See ist einfach wunderschön. Es hat uns, vier Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern, sehr gut gefallen. Langres, als hochgelegene Burgstadt ist von weit her immer zu erkennen, so dass man weiß, von der Autobahn kommend: Dort ist unser 'Urlaubs-Zuhause!

Wir haben bereits das zweite Mal unsere Ferien in diesem wunderbaren Haus verbracht und es hat sich nichts verändert: Eine spannende Stadt, ein großzügiges, stilvolles Haus, das von sehr sympathischen Menschen vermietet wird. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Three adults stayed at the premises and had a good week in Langres ,although the weather was rather mixed. The facilities in the property were fine although we missed some comfortable chairs in which to relax. Langres is an interesting town which has a long history and has been the centre of commerce in the region. Visits to Charles De Gaulle museum at Colombey lex Deux egilises , the museum of cutlery at Nogent, and the Abbey at Fontenay were well worthwhile.
There are a number of good restaurants in the town with excellent food at Cheval le Blanc even if a little expensive!

Wonderful house -great choice for family vacation!
We were two families (4 adults and 2 teens) just spending a week winter vacation in the wonderful house of Pascal & Martine. We had a quality time and enjoyed every moment of it.
Winter renting for us was nice because the weather was dry and we had no rain, allowing us lots of outing during the day light. However, we only assume that summer, spring and autumn can be even better due to the retreats you can have in the surrounding nature.
The house is large, fully equipped, cosy and warm. It gave us the feeling of "home away from home", which made us all feeling very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and the views from the upper floor are stunning!
The surroundings of the little town Langres are beautiful, which made us hike around almost every day of our stay. The beautiful city of Dijon is less than an hour drive from the property and we enjoyed one day there too.
The owners of the property are very kind, prompt and supporting, whilst not disturbing us at all during the stay.
This was definitely one of the best family vacations we have had and we warmly recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful vacation.
