The property is only a few meters from the main square, access was easy and the actual apartment exceeded our expectations.

Marvellous apartment with an amazing host

This is a marvellous apartment in the heart of beautiful Ieper. It is spacious and airy and accessed via the shop below. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and full of 'homey' touches. The host is brilliant, left us tea, fresh coffee, water, milk and beer, and guided us to local restaurants and amenities. Everything is within walking distance and there are many memorable places to visit. We would 100% visit again.

We did some cooking, and the kitchen could do with a few more utensils. There is a bar nearby, so there is a chance you'll hear revelers enjoying a drink and leaving.

De locatie voor een (lang) weekend

Heerlijk super groot appartement in het centrum van Ieper. Grote markt is 1 minuut lopen, naar de stadswallen een minuut of 5. Ruime kamer, ruime keuken en boven 2 slaapkamers met een ruime badkamer. Parkeren kan (gratis) om de hoek in de parkeergarage. Supervriendelijke host. De locatie als je in Ieper wil verblijven.

Bank is wel erg laag.

Nightclub music close to the apartment is really loud Friday and Saturday night till 5am. Maybe it was just the weekend we were there as rally was on and town was really busy

Lovely apartment above the framing shop in central Ypres - 8 minutes from the Menin Gate

The Apartment was centrally located and very spacious, clean and tidy - an excellent base for touring round the area and Ypres itself. The host was lovely, and told us all the things we needed to know, including where to park the car (in a private garage round the corner). The apartment was large with 2 large double rooms, and all kitchen amenities. You access the apartment through the framing shop, but you have keys to come and go as you please.

We loved it here, and did not have any problems. The only point to note is that the stairs are quite narrow/steep up to the 2nd floor, so care should be taken - we however didn't find it a problem at all.

Excellent, beautiful apartment with easy access to all parts of town, bars and restaurants near by.

Very steep stairs to access apartment, open to one side without handrail, a single handrail on opposite side. Difficult if you are carrying a suitcase.

Stylish, immaculate, large apartment in great location - a definite recommend

The apartment is in an ideal location a few metres from the Cloth Hall and central square. The apartment is very stylish, and large, with a great attention to detail, immaculately clean. Has everything you need and more. Host extremely friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely stay there again when we next visit Ypres.

There was nothing we didn't like.

A delightful, central apartment, perfect for visiting Ypres

This is a lovely, central apartment and Dominique couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. The rooms are big, warm and spacious with great views over the street. The location is perfect for exploring Ypres and visiting Menin Gate (9 min walk). Car parking is a 1 minute walk away in a safe, private, garage. This is the parking space Dominique normally uses for work, but she's happy to sacrifice it for guests. Entrance to the flat is through the framing shop itself, which was a fun addition to our stay.

There is a nightclub up the road that's open on Fridays and Saturdays until 5am and the music and noise can be a bit much throughout the night, so we'd recommend ear plugs. But it's not every night and we wouldn't let it put us off returning. The wooden stairs to get up to the flat (through the shop), and the wooden stairs in the apartment are steep and high, so this is not for anyone with mobility issues or serious height issues.

Stairs would be difficult for many but common in Europe. Pillows need updating :( Some late night noise on Friday with the bars nearby.

it was odd having to access the property by going through the shop, luckily when we unloaded and repacked the car the shop was closed so avoided having to carry out stuff past customers

Highly recommended.

The location is excellent, there is a bakery across the road for breakfast pastries or lunchtime baguettes. It’s really easy to walk everywhere. The apartment is lovely, very spacious and well fitted out. The hostess is friendly and helpful and speaks English. The communal garage with a dedicated parking space was really useful.

Just be aware that the stairs are steep!

A Great Apartment in Ypres.

Second stay for us. Location is excellent, clean, smart, well appointed, spacious, friendly and helpful owners. Large rooms. Excellent covered and secure parking a minute away. Difficult to fault what's offered. Definitely recommended for those visiting Ypres and Flanders😊.

Should you have mobility problems then be aware this apartment is accessed by open stairs and the stairway leading to the upper floor is steep and narrow. Also bear in mind that access is through the owner's shop. These were not issues for ourselves and we had a great stay.

A visit to pay my respects to the fallen at the Menin Gate

The apartment is ideally situated and very clean. Dominique is a lovely host and provided us with all answers to our questions. The town square is only a two minute walk away. The secure garage where we were able to park our motorcycles was an added bonus which i wasn't expecting.

Lovely apartment in a great location. Hosts were amazing and couldn’t be more helpful. The parking is easy, secure and free.

Just be aware there are a lot of steep steps in the property which could be difficult for some with movement problems.

It was a bit close to some late night bar’s that stayed a bit noisy later on Saturday night but no problem with a pair of ear plugs👍 To be expected in such a central location

We really enjoyed our short stay in Ypres and would recommend this accommodation.

The apartment was really central in Ypres which was excellent and we found the parking in the owner's garage really handy. The apartment was charming and very spacious with huge bedrooms and bathroom! The owner was very friendly and relaxed and gave us a good restaurant recommendation.

We didn't find the bed particularly comfortable but that is a personal thing. The stairs up to the bedrooms were very steep but we soon got used to them.

Perfect stay in Ypres.

Amazing holiday home. Lovely historic building, excellent location, very well appointed, clean, comfortable, fabulous host, secure indoor parking, lovely kitchen, lounges, bathroom, bedrooms, beds, views. Ideal for a spot of exploring in / around Ypres.

Nothing. Worth noting the accommodation is up stairs which may not be suitable for anyone unsteady on their feet but fine for anyone who is fine with stairs!

Excellent, friendly and helpful host, great location, comfortable, smart and clean, good size, great facilities and the nearby garage. Overall high quality and definitely recommended.

The one time I didn't bring any shower gel there weren't any complimentary gels in the bathroom🙄.
