About this house rental
The charm of a discreet and comfortable shelter in a green setting: we offer you an authentic welcome, in a preserved natural space, in the heart of a residential area, on the edge of the city.
Unique: rent an independent house in a large garden (1200m2).
It is a small house (70 m2) on one level, U-shaped.
At the entrance, a large cedar counter where you can deposit your personal items and store your luggage.
In the West wing, an equipped kitchen offers you the best conditions for making your favorite recipes. A French window allows direct access to the garden, on the setting sun side.
In the central part, access a large living room where you can comfortably sit in deep leather armchairs, or lie on the sofa, to read, doze, or share a glass of wine.
A French window and the openwork entrance door let in the light and allow direct access to the terrace.
In the East wing you will experience a large King Size bed in a quiet room which opens onto a functional bathroom, through a sliding door.
The toilets are separate.
The design, orientation and materials used allow this new construction to reach a high level of comfort. The interior temperature is pleasant in all seasons thanks to optimal insulation. It is a traditional achievement that knew how to use the energy and environmental constraints of today.
Our rental is fully furnished and equipped.
Everything is included: linens, sheets, towels, cleaning products, water and electricity consumption, unlimited internet connection, cleaning at the end of the stay.
Net rates, tourist tax is included, there is no additional charge.

That’s how it felt, Didier was a wonderful host, nice finishing touches, wine, flowers, water and not stripped of useful things, oils, condiments , candles etc. Well equipped with a particularly useful shopping trolley with a supermarket less than a mile away, it’s the first time we have successfully shopped without using the car.
We plan to return using a personal transfer, no car, we loved it.

This is one of the best holiday rentals that we've ever had. It started with the warm welcome from the owner Didier - even though we were two hours late - and the house had everything we needed for our 11 day stay. This includes the garden which provided some great relaxation space. Very accessible by road but an easy walk into town as well. So highly recommended.

Well equipped, bed a bit firm for us but duvet under the sheet helped. Great shower. Lots of storage space Seating area on the porch faces south, lovely but very hot, would be good to have a parasol maybe? Plenty of shade under trees. Easy walk into town. Very quiet neighbourhood.

A Perfect house for enjoying a beatiful part of southern France. We reached Pezenas center by walk in 25 minutes and nice beaches at Vias by car in 25 minutes.

Great location so close to Pezenas with its shops and restaurants as well as to the many interesting places in the region.
Ideal for two and very well equipped, even down to the mosquito repellent which, during our stay, was essential (if not wholly preventative!!).
One small improvement would be a little judicial pruning of the trees and plants along the route from entrance to parking spot as the sensors on our car went into overdrive!!
All in all, a very enjoyable stay, thank you Didier.

Ideal für heiße Sommertage
Mitte - Ende Juni waren wir bei sehr hohen Temperaturen von fast 40 Grad dort. Wir haben die Fensterläden geschlossen und konnten es dann in Nacht gut aushalten. Tagsüber war unter den großen Obstbäumen oder auch am Abend auf der Terrasse immer ein schattiges Plätzchen. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig im Wohngebiet am Ortsrand, einfach traumhaft. Die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet, auch mit Kleinigkeiten wie Klarsichtfolie, Pürierstab usw.

Peaceful property
As previous reviewers have said, this was a spacious well equipped property that it was a pleasure to return to after a day exploring the local area.
Didier was there to greet us on arrival and show us around. He was very kind to us.
We were pleasantly surprised by the large garden that we had to ourselves with sunbeds, patio furniture and tables and chairs for lunches outside. There was plenty of shade. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden with a book.

Paradiesischer Ort
Die Lage des bezaubernden Ferienhauses ist wunderbar. Am Rand von Pézenas gelegen und abseits des Trubels der Stadt.
Wir verbringen unsere Sommerurlaube schon seit vielen Jahren in dieser Gegend. Dieses Mal hatten wir besonders Glück, dieses Objekt gefunden zu haben. Der Garten ist riesig und die Ausstattung innnen und außen hervorragend 😊.

Erholsamer Urlaub in einem schönen Haus
Wir verbrachten wundervolle 3 Wochen in Pézenas. Das Haus von Didier ist hervorragend ausgestattet und es fehlt an nichts! Für 2 Personen ist mehr als genug Platz und, obwohl man in Urlaub ist, lädt die perfekt ausgestattete Küche dazu ein mit den tollen Produkten der umliegenden Märkte zu kochen. Ein, für 2 Personen ausreichend, grosses Bett mit sehr guter Matratze und ein großzügiges Badezimmer finden sich ebenso wie eine überdachte Terrasse. Selbst bei Regen ist es also möglich draußen zu sitzen und zu essen. Die passenden Aussenmöbel sind auch selbstverständlich vorhanden. Das Haus befindet sich auf einem grossen Grundstück mitten in einem Wohngebiet. Durch die Lage zwischen Obstbäumen in einem wirklich grossen Garten hat man das Gefühl fast alleine zu sein. Die Umgebung bietet viel zu entdecken. Mit dem Auto ist man in manchmal längerer oder kurzer Zeit in kleineren Dörfchen oder größeren Städten ( Montpellier, Carcassonne, Narbonne, Perpignan, etc.). Oder man fährt an die Küste und lässt am Strand einfach die Seele baumeln.
Fazit: Dieser Ort ist wirklich zu empfehlen und bietet die Möglichkeit vom hektischen Alltag zu entspannen.

Tranquillité, confort, beauté des paysages, à 5 minutes en voiture du centre de Pézenas : parfait !
Il s'agit d'une maison de plain pied posée dans un immense jardin, dans un coin totalement calme et cependant à 5 minutes en voiture du centre-ville. La maison est moderne et très confortable, encore mieux que sur les photos. Elle est très propre et possède lave-vaisselle, lave-linge, et barbecue. Le propriétaire est extrêmement accueillant et aidant. On se sent très bien dans ce coin de paradis. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Maison de vacances parfaite
Le petit gite s'est situé à la périphérie de la ville dans un quartier très tranquille. On peut aller au centre-ville commode à pied ou on va courir dans les vignobles. Les soirs on peut goûter à la terrasse ou dans le jardin. Le gite est équipé avec tous qui est nécessaire... une grande cuisine avec lave-linge et un salon très confortable. Les hôtes étaient trés gentils et avaient toujours serviable. J'ai passé des vacances uniques et reviendrais avec plaisir!

Pezenas is easily walkable , about 15 minutes into the centre. The beaches are close by about 20 minutes drive to the nearest one in Mèze where they had a good sized market on a Thursday. There are great places to eat on the coast and also in Pezenas.
We also visited Collioure which is probably worth a visit out of season as it was heaving when we went in early September. Don’t try to park in the town, there are car parks before you get to town and a free shuttle bus
Also worth a visit is St Guilhem Le Desert, again park down along the road and get a free shuttle into the town.

Een prima woning met een heerlijke tuin!
De woning was zeer compleet uitgerust! Zowel w.b. apparatuur (TV, Wifi, geluidsapparatuur) als serviesgoed en keukenspullen.
Echter... wij waren daar in een zeer hete week en de temperatuur binnen was nauwelijks onder de 30 graden te krijgen. Wij leefden zoals de locals met de luiken overdag dicht en pas 's avonds open maar doordat er geen zuchtje wind stond, was het nauwelijks af te koelen. We sliepen de hele nacht met een ventilator aan, Dat vonden we jammer en de installatie va een airco in de slaapkamer raden wij dan ook aan.
De eigenaar was erg vriendelijk en goed van vertrouwen!

Zweiter Ferienaufenthalt
Es war wie ein Nach-Hause-Kommen.
Nach 3 Wochen im letzten Jahr haben wir diesmal 4 Wochen in diesem komfortablen Ferienhaus verbracht, herzlich begrüßt von Didier. Wieder haben wir Ausflüge in die Umgebung gemacht, diesmal mehr mit dem Fahrrad oder auf Schusters Rappen, denn das Wetter war nicht so freundlich wie im letzten Jahr. Trotzdem konnten wir den Garten und die Terrasse (auch bei Regen) genießen, die Nèfles uns schmecken lassen und - Überraschung - mit einer neuen Tassimo-Maschine Capuccino und Espresso genießen. Und auf dem Markt von Pézénas haben wir den besten Ochsenmaulsalat unseres Lebens kaufen können....
Es war einfach wieder schön.

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus mit wunderschönem Garten
Wir haben mit unserer 11 Monate alten Tochter zwei wunderschöne Wochen in diesem tollen Ferienhaus gehabt. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr saubet und es fehlt an nichts. Am Besten gefiel uns der riesige, traumhafte Garten, in dem es sowohl Schatten als auch Sonnenplätze gibt. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Er hat uns beispielsweise kostenlos ein Babybett, einen Hochstuhl und eine Badewanne zur Verfügung gestellt. Mit einem kleinen Kind ist das Haus sehr gut geeignet. Bis zum Supermarkt sind es mit dem Auto 3 Minuten. Bis zum nächsten Strand 20-30 Minuten (je nachdem welchen man ansteuert). Pezenas selbst ist eine wundervolle kleine Stadt mit tollen Geschäften und einem großen Markt am Samstag. Wir überlegen das erste Mal, ob wir dieses Ferienhaus nochmal buchen...also sehr zu empfehlen.

Bester Platz für erholsame und interessante Ferien
Seit vielen Jahren machen wir Urlaub in Frankreich, immer in Ferienhäusern, diesmal in einem der am besten ausgestatteten: alles war vorhanden - selbst um komplizierte Speisen zuzubereiten, auch ausreichend Geschirr (gut wg. der Spülmaschine), ausgezeichnete Sanitäranlagen mit reichlich Hand- und Duschtüchern, selbst Waschlappen fehlten nicht, prima Matratze im Schlafzimmer in einem großen Bett.
Der große Garten - ein Traum - Sonne und Schatten (unter den Nèfliers, leckere Früchte, die wir bisher nicht kannten), so dass auch 30° gut auszuhalten waren. Die überdachte Terrasse war ebenfalls ein idealer Ort für alle Mahlzeiten.
Viele deutsche Fernseh-Programme und problemloses Internet waren ein Pluspunkt mehr.
Und nicht zuletzt: ganz reizende "Betreuer", die Eltern des Vermieters, der beruflich in der Zeit sehr gefordert war, sie haben ihn bestens vertreten und uns sehr verwöhnt. Vielen Dank.
3 Wochen waren nicht genug für die herrliche Gegend - wir kommen wieder!!

Besides the fully equipped kitchen - (induction stove was great fun to use) - and the heavenly rain shower in the modern bathroom, it was the charming feeling of the entire house, the surrounding trees and garden, and view of the rolling hills. The house itself is roomy with a well designed layout and comfortable furniture. As we were there in March we needed heat and there are heaters in every room and area of the house. More than adequate. The king size bed was very comfortable, and the linens were top quality. Internet was speedy, English language TV was a plus. Having a full size refrigerator was also a plus as we enjoyed shopping at the Saturday market (and the nearby Carrefour), and fixing our breakfast and dinner each day.
Pezenas is an interesting village, with lots of history and a well preserved "old town". The Saturday market is not to be missed and lasts all day (we actually went in the morning to buy food, brought it back to the house, went to Bouzigues for oysters for lunch, then returned to the market later to shop for gifts). A car is a necessity as it is a quick drive to the stores, but too far to walk. And with a car you can explore the many villages near and far - we went to Millau for the Viaduct, and Roquefort - for the cheese.
But I must mention the best part of this house is the host - Didier. A thoughtful, helpful and delightful person who went out of his way to help us from the first inquiry, through our many requests for guidance, and to giving us the warm feeling of having a friend in France.
We will definitely be back again to stay here, and stay longer next time!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette maison tout à fait conforme au descriptif, parfaitement équipée, spacieuse, très propre, située dans un endroit calme. Le jardin arboré est idéal pour lire ou se reposer.
Nous avons été très chaleureusement accueillis par le propriétaire qui nous a donné de précieux conseils. Ses parents, vivant sur la propriété, ont fait preuve d'une grande disponibilité en cas de besoin mais également d'une extrême discrétion.
Pézenas est une très jolie ville et la région offre de multiples possibilités pour passer de bonnes vacances (visites culturelles, balades, plage,...).
C'est sans aucune hésitation que nous recommandons cette location.

When we arrived at this property we were made very welcome by Didier and we were delighted to see that the accommodation looked even better than it had done in the photos we had seen on-line. The standard of the decoration and fittings throughout was excellent and it was extremely well equipped even down to there being some basic cooking ingredients provided. From our first enquiry about renting the property to our arrival, Didier was very attentive and helpful in providing us with information to help make our holiday successful.
We loved the location of the property, it being very peaceful yet within easy walking distance to the centre of Pezenas which was a delightful French town with much to entertain you in both its historic centre and its many delightful restaurants. But it was also easy to get to other towns and attractions either by bus (we went to Beziers) or by car (we went to Sete in the south and Clermont l'Herault a little further north and thoroughly enjoyed both). There was lots more that we didn't have time to do so may go back again. Overall we thought this was the nicest holiday rental of our twenty years of holidaying in France and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the Herault region of France.

The accommodation was perfect; spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. Everything was of a very high quality and virtually new. We have rented many holiday homes over the years and this was possibly the best for it's price.
The location is good if you have a car - to walk to Pezenas is a pleasant amble of 15 to 20 mins. Pezenas is a beautiful Medieval town and although good for tourists it is not at all tacky, restaurants of all levels can be found and there are plenty of cultural opportunities; we enjoyed our week very much. The sea is not too far either and we particularly liked Meze for the harbour and beach. We would be happy to recommend this accommodation and location to our friends and may well return here ourselves. Overall - excellent.

The accommodation was perfect; spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. Everything was of a very high quality and virtually new. We have rented many holiday homes over the years and this was possibly the best for it's price.
The location is good if you have a car - to walk to Pezenas is a pleasant amble of 15 to 20 mins. Pezenas is a beautiful Medieval town and although good for tourists it is not at all tacky, restaurants of all levels can be found and there are plenty of cultural opportunities; we enjoyed our week very much. The sea is not too far either and we particularly liked Meze for the harbour and beach. We would be happy to recommend this accommodation and location to our friends and may well return here ourselves. Overall - excellent.

Tout le descriptif est parfait et juste, les équipements sont neufs, le tout dans un havre de calme, de nature au coeur de la ville de Pezenas.
L'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, ou de leurs parents (sur place), leurs conseils, leur discrétion sont un plus !
C'est une adresse que nous recommanderions à nos meilleurs amis, alors voilà tout est dit !

Une maison d'une bonne qualité
Fr: Nous avons eu l'honneur d'être les premiers hôtes dans cette maison d'une très bonne qualité. L'équipement est très bonne et complète et, à notre grande surprise, il y a même une bouilloire électrique. Pour les Néerlandais comme nous qui boivent beaucoup de thé, c'est très pratique. Les parents du propriétaire qui habitent sur le même terrain, sont vraiment très gentil et toujours prêt à offrir de l'aide et des conseils. Pézenas est une joli petit ville et on peut faire des bonnes promenades à vélo dans la région autour de Pézenas.

Wij hebben de eer gehad de eerste gasten te zijn in dit vakantiehuis van zeer goede kwaliteit. De uitrusting van het huis is erg goed en compleet. Tot onze verbazing bleek er zelfs een waterkoker te zijn. Voor ons als theeleuten is dat erg praktisch. De ouders van de eigenaar die op hetzelfde terrein wonen, zijn werkelijk erg aardig en altijd bereid te helpen of advies te geven.
Pézenas is een leuke kleine stad en je kunt in de omgeving goede fietstochten maken.
