The property was beautiful, clean, and well appointed with the most stunning views!! Raffaele, the host was so accommodating and helpful!! We started communications months prior to our stay. As it got closer to our stay he provided a ton of information about local sight seeing and restaurants. Helped us arrange private transportation to and from Naples to the property. He booked a half day private boat tour of the coast for us as well. Raffaele also touched base with us daily to make sure that there wasn’t anything that we needed/or if there was anything that he could assist us with.
The location of the property was perfect.. off the beaten path away from the busy-ness of Amalfi and Positano, but still had some fantastic restaurants and a much more local non-tourist feel!! The locals of Conca dei Marini were so very helpful and friendly! Would suggest walking and/or utilizing the water taxi service on Conca dei Marini beach as transportation, as taxis are very expensive for such short rides.
Would highly recommend this property to anyone!! It is definitely as advertised! A beautiful property in a more quiet, yet central location! It is a given that Raffaele will go out of his way to make sure that your needs are met.

Angela’s place was amazing! Raffaele was even more amazing! Best communication ever. Raffaele helped arrange transportation, excursions and tremendous dinner recommendations! They helped get us settled in and showed us everything we needed to know about the rental and even offered to drive us to dinner! Raffaele even picked us up from a excursion he reserved for us. Best VRBO experience EVER!

Villa Angela was the most beautiful and perfect location for a coastline experience! It exceeded expectations in every way. The rooms were filled with Italian style and every window has a perfect view of the sea! It was wonderful waking up to a million dollar view every morning! Our host was extremely helpful, and notified us of local events, and directed us to local attractions! 5 stars plus!

Simply spectacular. Words cannot do justice for this place. The photos cannot duplicate what you really will see. Get away from the traffic, go to local, walkable restaurants. Eat lunch and have a drink on the top of the hill. Sit on your balcony, walk the steps to the beach and even more restaurant choices. Enjoy the Amalfi Coast without the crowds or take a quick ride in either direction to explore Amalfi or Positano.

It's a shame VRBO only allows us to review and rate our stay with a maximum of five stars, it deserves at least ten. Villa Angela and the diligence of Angela and her delightful son Raffaele MADE our trip. Their true kindness and enthusiasm is what makes globetrotting SO special. The villa is VERY SPECIAL, of course it is a fabulous view that greets you ALL the time always changing from every window. I am add and old and proud of it, but Angela and Raffaele take it to a whole new level. To say the place was beyond immaculately spotless would be an understatement. Rafael's insights as to where to go, what to do and his amazing efforts to get us all taken care of was absolutely amazing. I could ramble on and on at this once in a lifetime experience and CANNOT recommend a stay here enough!!!!
Many, MANY thanks!

Excellent stay and experience! We think it was the best view we had on the Amalfi Coast. Angela was immediately responsive when we booked, her son Raffaele was so attentive, providing great communication every morning and night, checking in on us and providing us with ideas and updates based on the season, and her son Alessandro stepped in to meet us when our arrival got delayed. The place was very comfortable, and perfect for our family of four, and we really liked being off a square in a small town area rather than in the busier nearby towns. And we really enjoyed nearby Nino’s for both dinner and lunch. There also is good hiking right from the house — up the stairs and then up the mountainside, with beautiful views and hiking.through lemon groves and sheep and goat herds. Highly recommend this home and experience!

Angela's property was perfect for our stay, and Conca dei marini was amazing. We enjoyed this quiet area away from the more busy areas of the coast.

Great place to stay!
Delightful two-level villa with everything you need along with picture windows framing a marvellous view of the coast looking towards Amalfi. Spotlessly clean too.
Raffaele, Angela’s son, could not have been more helpful and informative and always there to support whenever needed.
The local restaurant “Le Bonta Del Capo” (up the hill), was excellent; delicious food at very reasonable prices and brilliant staff - highly recommend.
This is a perfect location to explore the Amalfi Coast. Thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay. .

The property was exactly as advertised (2nd bathroom is on 1st floor). The view of Amalfi was like looking at a post card. Driving can be a little challenging. Raffaele was the best. There was nothing he wouldn't or find out for you and we tested him in both categories. He was so accommodating, helpful and friendly. I can not say enough about the location, local Restaurants (Nino's, Capo's and Belvedere; and Raffaele making us feel so at home.

Breathtaking View
This apartment is beautiful. Raffaele went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect.

The most dreamy prospect of all time, paired with the most sympathetic and forthcoming host of all time. no matter what problems and or questions arise, Raffaele solves them even before they arise. The view on the balcony and through the really big window in the living room, captivates you every day and you can't get enough, especially of the romantic sunrises.
we tried to watch a film several times, but were constantly distracted by the fantastic view, so the film was completely secondary. The apartment is divided into 2 floors, with a bathroom on each, so there are enough places to retreat. Approx. 800 steps to the beach definitely keep fit, but 2 dreamy little beaches are worth it, which by the way do not overwhelm tourism. The 1st is in approx. 12 min. to reach on foot. The 2nd beach is reached by a 3 minute, free boat ride with a small fishing boat. Excellent, just like the delicacies of the restaurants on the beach. Otherwise, the nearby green cave is worth a visit. For information on ferries and bus departure times, there is an info point in the middle of conca up the stairs not far away and further restaurants, as well as a supermarket.

The views of the coast and surrounding area were magnificent and breathtaking. This property was ideally located right on the Amalfi coast about 12K up the coast from the city of Amalfi and 16K down the coast from Positano. We were minutes away from 2 quaint local restaurants that were wonderful. Le Bonta del Capo was up from the property and had the biggest selection at very inexpensive prices. Got local red wine by the glass for 2.50 euros per glass. Another restaurant nearby was Baglio Italian bistrio. The owner served us personally and his wife was the cook. The food was the best ever. Smaller selection than Le Bonta, but the food was superb. If you are renting a car this condo is the place to stay. Taking the bus perhaps not so much, as it is 340 steps down from the property to the bus stop on the Amalfi highway (SS163). Also it is another 300 steps down from the Amalfi highway to the beach. If you are in good shape you can make it, and there are 2 restaurants down at beach level. Just a fair warning, driving on the Amalfi coast is not for the faint of heart. The roads were built centuries ago for smaller vehicles and donkeys. No there are tons of cars, motorcycles and busses. Most of the roads can barely fit 2 cars. Driving gets very exciting when you pass a bus or a wider car, such as a Mercedes sedan or van. Take some valium if you plan on renting a car and driving. Lots of public transportation options, but you have to wait as there are so many tourists. We had a great trip and would stay here again as the owners son Raffaele was a wonderful host.

Wonderful place to stay
We loved it here! All the reviews talk about the views - yes, they are spectacular - interesting too(!), with all of the boat traffic but you are far away from all the hubbub. We very much appreciated the fact that you could be lying in shade or sun on the balcony. The house is lovely - very spacious, comfortable, clean and well-equipped. Many of the reviews also talk about the stairs - to get down to the beach and up to the shops and restaurants. You need to come prepared to accept this fact and look upon the stairs as excellent cardiovascular work out and good for toning the thigh muscles! All the restaurants we ate at were very good (La Tonnarella, which is on the beach; Le Bonta del Capo and "Nino's Pizzeria", which are in the village). A special mention must be made of Raffaele, the son of the owner. He is absolutely fantastic! He responded quickly to all of our questions and gave us excellent advice on things to do. Without him, we wouldn't have known about all that was happening in Conca. Thank you, Raffaele!

Conca dei Marini—Paradise
This was a property we loved 100% and we are sure to return. First, Raffaele, our host, was magnificent in ever way. He was helpful, accommodating, and has become our friend. The beauty viewed from the property is fabulous. You are in a very quite area, but just minutes from the most popular towns of the Amalfi Coast. The people of the restaurants and the markets were extraordinarily friendly. We loved the house, the people, and the town. We could not recommend Casa Angela more highly!

The apartment was great with amazing views from the terrace. Good and quiet location. Be ready to climb stairs to get to the beach and restaurant.

Lovely, spectacular view!
The Conca De Marini villa de Angela location was close (10 min)to the Almafi coast by car or bus but not to far from Positano (40 min). The hosts to our villa Angela and her son Rafaelle were nothing but kind, and quick with responses on anything we needed. The views from the bedroom balcony were spectacular!!!! Fireworks were a part of each night as you gazed from the balcony with a bottle of wine....just beautiful! The villa was clean and perfect for us. Just be ready ....no matter where u go to climb steps But we’ll worth the climbs! That is what Conca is all about. !

A little slice of paradise!
Don't hesitate, just book this property now!!! It's all about the view for me. Breathtaking from the living room, both bedrooms and the master bath. The balcony (with the aforementioned view) off the master is spacious and downright incredible! The only improvement I would suggest is (for me and my guest) the mattresses were really soft and I woke up with a sore back. However, many people prefer a softer mattress. I would (and very likely will) return for another visit as soon as possibel!!! Also the location is in a small, self contained community in the hills overlooking the Mediterranea Sea and Amalfi coast. They have their own market, grocery, restaurant and bar, pizza joints and more. So if you don't feel like going into Positano, Amalfi, Sorrento or Salerno, you don't have to! Wish we could've stayed longer!!!

a view that dreams are made of.
We had a wonderful stay at Villa Angela and the views from the apartment were spectacular! Raphael was a gracious host... available and always willing to assist. The apartment was clean and well appointed. The Queen sized bed in the master was comfortable. The WIFI worked flawlessly. We rented a car which provided much convenience and the parking pass was a HUGE plus.. But, please note that driving in general in the Amalfi coast was challenging and I'll leave it at that. The steps to/from the apartment were expected, but did put some color in my face during each accent... but the views from the apartment made it worth every step. I highly recommend Casa Angela.

My wife and I we’re celebrating our April birthdays and couldn’t be more pleased with the wonderful accommodations at Casa

Perfect for a family/pleasantly surprised
The two levels was perfect for our family. The children (14 and 10) took over the lower level and we came down just for food. It was a perfect launch point to amalfi (15 minute drive) and we did a day trip to Naples to see Capri and it was wonderful. There are several stores I. Amalfi but we googled a large market and hit that on our way in to the rental. The view did not disappoint. I opened the curtains on the master and never closed them. We found a car to be a necessity for this area of our Italy adventure.

Perfect October
There is little to add about the property, as it is exactly as described, it was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with a view to die for. Raffaelle was very helpful, and arranged a meal for us on the first night (Sunday) when the shops were shut. It is not quite where it appears on the map, being just below the small square on the Via Miramare, where at this time of year we had no trouble parking. The small balcony lost the sun after the early morning in October, but probably gets more in the summer.
It is very well placed for exploring the coast from Maiore to Positano, and the road is astounding in more ways than one! Do rent the smallest car you can fit in to. We ended up prefering the bus service from opposite the Hotel Belvedere which is a 7-10 minute walk down the steps, which removed driving and parking worries and allowed both of us to enjoy the journey. Tickets must be bought in advance from the tobacconists in the village. Pompeii is close enough for a day-trip.
The highlight of the trip was arranged by Raffaele, a taxi to Marina di Praia, a private boat with 3 other couples for a circuit of Capri, four hours on the island where we walked to Villa Jovis and Giardini di Augusto, and then back along the Amalfi coast with a swim for those who wanted one. Not a huge amount more than ferries and parking would have been, and a totally different experience.
For eating out we enjoyed the simplicity and family feel of La Piazza da Nino in the village, Gidardiniello in Minori, and particularly Da Gemma in Amalfi. Everywhere we went was busy but not heaving, I suspect the high season would be hotter and more crowded than most would appreciate.
Finally a word for those with mobility problems, the villa is not far from the road, about 20 to 30 steps which are well-maintained, but if you are not fit enough to manage the steps that are the main way of getting about the towns you may feel rather left-out. Wheelchairs would be impossible and push-chairs for children would be impractical too.
Thank you for a lovely week

Above our expectations
This is our first time in Italy and we really had no idea where to stay in the Amalfi coast
Raphael made early contact with us and advised us that the road was closed and gave us an alternative route He met us at Ninos Trattoria right up the road We went to the villa and he showed us around The place is fantastic with a great view of the coast The villa was immaculate and very well equipped Easy access to a few good restaurants and a market in the small town
Can't wait to go back

Great property. Exactly as the photos.
We had a great time. Raffaele and Alessandro were always every helpfully. We even attended a concert at 4.45 one morning.

The best view of Amalfi, even from the bathroom!
If there was heaven on earth, it is at this lovely home. Location location location! We spent 6 days here and every day was perfect. The unit is larger than the photos show. Ice cold air conditioning, a plus in the summertime. Will accommodate 6 easy. Large kitchen, pull out couch in the living room. Laundry on first floor, with a full bathroom with a shower. The upstairs includes a comfortable queen bed in the master bedroom with a full bathroom with shower. The second bed room has 2 double beds. Only shortcoming was the second bedroom has no bathroom and must use either the master bathroom or the downstairs bathroom. The best of all is the patio just off the master bedroom, we spent every day and night with food and wine on the terrace. If you plan on a beach day be prepared to concur the 350 plus steps to the harbor. Although this seems like a moment you say, how am I getting back up to the top? Fixed! You spend the day beach and restaurant hopping by boats cheaply, to the 6 plus beaches between Conca dei Marina and Amalfi and grab a taxi for 45.00 In Amalfi back to the top, and dropped off at your doorstep. You will not be disappointed! You host is super grandiose and will help you with all your questions.
4.8
Loved it!
Property was beautifully decorated and well equipped, very clean, very quiet. The view out over the Mediterranean was unbelievably beautiful! As with all of Amalfi, it would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues....lots and lots of steps...no elevators!
4.8
Excellent location, well placed for exploring the Amalfi coast, very helpful host.
Comfortable, clean, peaceful apartment with breath taking coastal views across to Amalfi. Quiet village just off the Amalfi coast road. Really well placed for exploring all the coastal towns and an hours drive from Pompeii. Village is on hillside so expect lots of steps but restaurants in village run a courtesy shuttle which is very easy to organise. Parking permit available for Conca from host.
Hosts are excellent, charming and very helpful. We arrived late in the evening and Raffaele took us to stock up on provisions and organised a late supper in one of the restaurants.

AMAZING!
We loved Casa Angela! The view is incomparable, it's so peaceful and beautiful. The house is clean and has all the amenities one may need. We loved eating at Nino's and Le Bontà del Capo.
The house is close to everything but secluded enough for it to be peaceful.

Terrible environment for asthmatics
VRBO claims "there is no record of your stay at this property." My VRBO login page shows this as a "past stay" and has a reservation ID of HA-PX1W8V listed. Their page presents our stay dates as 6 - 12 May. We only stayed one night due to the mold/mildew presence in the property, and its effect on my asthma. Apparently VRBO can't access the information it posts on its own user's pages? If VRBO should contact anyone -- it's the owners of this property for the lack of important information OMITTED from their posted property reviews.
This is the review I originally posted - and it is accurate.
This location should post HONEST advisories. Yes, we have a beautiful view; but no, if you have asthma, you can’t BREATHE here (terrible mold/mildew problem). Yes we have on-street parking, but no... you have to walk 100 m on the street, then down 3 flights of stairs, to the entrance of the unit (not good for sore feet, ailing hips, heart problems), and YES, they have a GREAT VIEW... but the apartment is medium level accommodation (= not at all near luxury level). We’re accustomed, with VRBO locations, with simple arrival assistance. Bottles of water, perhaps a bottle of wine - fruit, wine, bread & cheese... Enough to get you to the next day. Here... Nothing. If the owners here, perhaps travelled with other VRBO owners elsewhere, they might discover an important idea: hospitality. We only spent one night of a full week reservation here.

Stunning
We had the best stay at Casa Angela in Conca Dei Marini. The house has everything you need and is a good size, there are two lovely terraces (with incredible views!!) which look out over Amalfi and the Med. The owner is incredibly helpful and was very understanding when we arrived later than originally planned on our travel day down to the house.
The house is located inbetween Amalfi and Positano so perfect for day trips to these towns.
Overall we had a great stay and if we come back to this area in Italy then we would definitely come back to this property.
