At a walking distance from the center or from a wild beach, along the famous and oldest French Golf, up on the cliff, in nature. Come to test the delightful silence and the excitement of the close mythical city in this unique setting!
Ground Floor: Big living room, three windows and a door window overlooking the garden. Around an old fireplace, two sofas, excellent Hi-Fi. Dining room, kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet at the same level.
Miller stairs getting to three interconnecting rooms, two of them having separate beds. All rooms have a view on the garden, the golf and the sea.
360° around, you will not see any other building else than the roof of a church and a light house! Long walks await you along the cliffs.

From the moment we rolled up to this magical home we knew we had chosen wisely. As described, it really is the only home around and the natural setting is just stunning. We spent time bird watching, star gazing, breathing the fresh air. We took advantage of our proximity to the singular Cliffs of Etretat by easily walking to the sea to watch sunsets. We used the nearby footpath into town to avoid parking hassles. Etretat was full of great spots to eat, as well as shops and other attractions like the gardens. The beach is grand. From this location it was also quite easy for us to reach other destinations like Hornfleur, Fecamp Rouen, Caen, Le Havre, Mont St. Michel, and with a little extra push, St-Malo. We always enjoyed coming home to and waking up in this gem of a home. We cooked several meals in the well-appointed kitchen and were grateful for the laundry and beautiful fireplace. Bed was comfy, there was plenty of room in the bedroom for our things, and garden space was a plus. Regine was very welcoming and Thibault provided clear and detailed instructions for enjoying the home. We loved how it was decorated, the place really cast a spell on us.. It was exactly what we hoped for and dream of coming back some day.

We enjoyed staying in this nice norman house in a great landscape only half an hour walk away. It was a little bit like living in a museum, simple but cosy. We liked it. We would recommend it to those who do not always need all this modern comfort.

Appareils ménagers, Wifi et chauffage en parfait état de fonctionnement.
Literie très confortable.
Quelques petits points pourraient être améliorés :
- problème d'éclairage au niveau de la hotte.
- casseroles (couvercles?), louche manquante
- état du mobilier extérieur
- préciser plus clairement dans l'annonce que le prix annoncé
pour cette location pour 6 personnes est le prix pour 2
personnes.
- salle de séjour très sombre malgré les nombreux luminaires
- les chambres communicantes n'ont pas été un souci mais si
vous avez le sommeil léger, prévoir des boules quies (plancher
non isolé).
Dans l'ensemble nous avons été très satisfait de la location et nous n'hésiterons pas à la relouer.

Gorgeous well-maintained, well-appointed rustic house in a beautiful location.
The owner provided me with very helpful information ahead of my stay. The property manager met me upon arrival and departure and was very helpful and flexible. We were able to walk from the house around the golf course, along the paths of the cliffs, to the town of Etretat, and back as a day trip. The house is lovely. I would definitely stay here again. Bring a kite with you!

Calme et reposant
Maison très agréable, isolée en pleine nature et très proche aussi des falaises d’Etretat. Le centre ville est aussi facilement accessible à pied à 15 minutes.
Parfait pour se reposer, se retrouver en famille, faire de belles balades et se réchauffer après autour d’une belle flambée dans la belle cheminée du salon.
Je prévois d’y retourner.

Magnifique
Il est rare et tellement précieux de trouver des lieux encore si isolés. Une maison au bout d'un chemin en terre. Pas de voisin, pas de pollution lumineuse la nuit sauf le phare au loin, pas de bruit sauf le vent. La mer à quelques dizaines de mètres. La maison est rustique mais belle, bien chauffée en cette fin du mois de décembre. Un point qui peut être amélioré : la cuisine est assez minimaliste. Bref un magnifique sejour

"Am Ende der Welt"
Dieses zauberhafte Landhaus voller Antiquitäten liegt wirklich einsam auf den Klippen von Étretat. Es ist nicht einfach zu finden, zumal die letzten 600 m auf einem unwegsamen und unbefestigten Feldweg mit tiefen Löchern einer Herausforderung für jeden Autofahrer darstellt. Man ist wirklich "Am Ende der Welt".
Man muss es mögen, dass das Innere des Hauses ständig beleuchtet werden muss, da die kleinen Fenster und die nahe am Haus stehenden dichten Bäume nur wenig Tageslicht einlassen. Die vielen Lampen - geschickt angeordnet - und der riesige Kamin mit dem flackernden Feuer machen das Innere wirklich heimelig.
Unser Aufenthalt in der 1. Januarwoche 2022 wurde leider von sehr viel Regen begleitet, dennoch bot das Haus die nötige warme Gemütlichkeit für gesellige Stunden am Kamin. Reichlich Holz stand zu Verfügung.
Wir wussten im Vorhinein, dass das sehr alte und urige Landhaus voller Antiquitäten nicht den modernen Standard eines sonstigen Freienhauses bieten würde. So etwas typisch Normannisches suchten wir aber auch.
Grundsätzlich wurden unsere Erwartungen auch nicht enttäuscht.
Allerdings sind auch einige Minuspunkte zu verzeichnen:
Die nur spärlich beleuchtete Holzküche ist trotz des modernen Herdes mächtig in die Jahre gekommen. Mehrere Türen und Schubladen waren nur unter größter Vorsicht zu öffnen, man lief Gefahr, sie aus der Verankerung zu reißen. Das Innere der Schränke war zum Teil sehr schmutzig mit alten Ablagerungen. Auch viele Geschirrteile waren klebrig und nur unzureichend gesäubert. Wir haben die Küche lediglich zum Frühstückmachen genutzt, gekocht haben wir aus den genannten Gründen nicht.
Insgesamt waren wir von der Sauberkeit des Hauses sehr enttäuscht. Das hätte nicht sein müssen!
Wir hätten dem Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Haus, in dem wir gerne den Jahresbeginn verbracht haben, selbstverständlich die verdienten 5 Sterne gegeben, aber einen Stern müssen wir abziehen wegen der Küche und der mangelhaften Sauberkeit.
Grundsätzlich blicken wir aber auf einen tollen Aufenthalt in diesem typisch normannischen Landhaus zurück. Wer dieses Ambiente mit solch einer Atmosphäre liebt, ist hier richtig.

Même avec un temps maussade, la maison et son environnement isolé, nous enserre dans la quiétude d'un oasis, caché entre mer et champs.
Le reste, les bruits, les parfums...se vivent sur place.

Due to the location you can kayak under the stone arches in the morning, stroll on the beach in the afternoon and drink a cidre on the cliffs watching the sun go down in a single day w/o having to hurry up. Charming host plus excellent introduction by William.

Tolles Haus in beeindruckender Lage
Die Lage des alten normannischen Hauses ist wirklich beeindruckend. Einsam in der Natur, etwas abseits des Touristentrubels findet man schnell Ruhe. Nur ein kurzer Weg ist es bis zu den Klippen und man kann dort jeden Abend wunderschön die Sonne untergehen sehen.
Das Haus ist sehr alt und mit schönen Antiquitäten auch passend eingerichtet.
Einziges Manko ist die Sauberkeit des Hauses bei unserer Ankunft. Das Haus wurde vorher nicht gründlich gereinigt und teilweise war das Geschirr von den Vormietern noch verschmutzt. Einige Küchenschränke und -schubladen sind defekt und müssen repariert werden.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus mit Vergangenheit
Ein bemerkenswertes, ganz besonderes Haus außerhalb der Ortschaft Étretat. Die vergangenen Jahrhunderte sind spürbar: an den Mauern aus Feldsteinen, dem Holzgebälk, dem fast 2 Meter großen Kamin.
Die Besitzer haben das Haus liebevoll mit Büchern und antiquarischem Spielzeug ausgestattet, ein Genuss für die Sinne.
Das Haus steht nahe der Klippen, und hält man sich hier auf, findet der Tag seinen ganz eigenen Rhythmus. Wir haben unsere Zeit hier sehr genossen.

Une maison très ancienne, réaménagée au confort moderne sans en altérer son identité, isolée au bout d’un chemin de terre sur les falaises le long du parcours de golf et des chemins de randonnée menant en quelques minutes en toute tranquillité au bord des falaises et des plages.
Idéale pour amoureux de la nature (et pour les golfeurs)
Les déjeuners dehors sous les grands arbres au seul son des oiseaux font partie du charme des lieux.
Nous espérons y retourner.

Leuke retraite aan de golfbaan. Erg knus zoals op de foto's te zien is. Sanitair had iets beter gekund en we misten wat lounge stoelen voor buiten, maar voor de rest super. Bedden en handdoeken waren goed!

Magnifique séjour
Très bien située, la maison est au calme... seule la tondeuse du golf vient vous chatouiller les oreilles le matin...
Belles et grandes chambres à l’étage. Tout est conforme à la description.
Quelques petites choses à bricoler et tout sera parfait ! Thibault est un hôte très souple et serviable. Encore merci pour tout, nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Isolée à souhait
Je cherchais le calme, un environnement apaisant, un confort douillet : tout y était. Le centre ville à pied se mérite un peu, surtout au retour mais son charme passe par là.

La maison est parfaitement conforme à l’annonce, vieille bâtisse authentique, avec confort, au bout d’un chemin réservé (normalement ! Dommage que certains automobilistes abusent, de fait on n’est pas tt seul les week-ends !). Merci à William de son accueil parfait, et au propriétaire de permettre cette expérience extra.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette très belle maison pleine de charme et chaleureuse. L'emplacement est exceptionnel et unique sur les falaises d'Etretat offrant de très belles promenades avec des vues a couper le souffle. Nous avons tout fait a pied depuis la maison et avons profité de bons moments de cocooning et de tranquillité en famille au coin du feu. William nous a très bien accueilli. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse.

Best spot to enjoy Étretat
We spent a week-end in this truly charming house to escape from Paris madness. We really enjoyed this spot that is a perfect combination between the amazing surrounding nature and the crowd of Étretat Village. The house is well renovated and maintained. A big thank you to Thibault for his kindness and availability before and during the stay.

Havre de paix et de bon goût authentique, en marge du tumulte aoutien
5 adultes en quête d'un gîte calme en début de mois d'aout à 20' à pied d'Etretat bondé et encombré de voitures : c'est déjà un challenge. Quand en plus vous trouvez au sommet des falaises, un vraie maison de charme tournée vers le calme de la campagne et avec vue sur le mer en surplombant le golf depuis les chambres, vous pouvez vous dire que c'est l'endroit que vous cherchiez. Des meubles et des objets qui vous font sentir dans une maison de vacances de famille authentique, habilement restaurée sans tape-à-l'oeil, et la semaine passe trop vite avec de très belles balades alentour. Magnifiquement.

La maison est idéalement située sur la falaise, à 20 mn à pied d'etretat. Beaucoup de ballades sont possibles depuis la maison.

Für uns perfekt!
Wir waren Ende September für eine Woche in diesem Ferienhaus. Für unsere Familie mit Hund und Katz war die absolute Abgeschiedenheit perfekt. Bei viel Wind/Stürme und Regen gab es nach den Spaziergängen einen gemütlichen Platz am offenen Kamin .
