Charles's St Kat's dock studio is an ideal place to call "home" for your trip to London. Right outside your front door, you're looking down at one of the three quays, with the boats bobbing gently in the harbor. We loved evening strolls around the docks ... and then out to the Thames (which is minutes away). The little balcony is perfect to sit and rest after a long day in the city. Kitchen was well appointed. Bed was very comfortable. The host was excellent.

charming location near the docks and practical too. Both quiet and close to the main tube lines. i've had a pleasant stay

David was a great host. This apartment was like a home, quiet, clean and warm. Location was good in St Katharine Docks area and many store & restaurants near by. Just across the street has Waitrose supermarket we can cooking. For the london transport, walk a 10 minutes can go to Tower Bridge and Tower Hill underground, DLR and train station. We would like to stay again. Highly recommended and thank you David!

David was a wonderful host, where he contacted us via whatsapp to arrange a good time to meet and collect the keys; he was extremely punctual and professional in showing us around the property and giving us details and ideas about things to do. The flat itself was perfect for my husband and I's 4 night stay in London. The size was perfect, it had a separate kitchen, and, most importantly, it had a balcony, which was wonderful for the warm summer nights. The location is perfect - I have no words to describe how well it suited us, the nearest supermarket being at our doorstop and a number of restaurants and bars just a short walk away. It is very well connected, Tower Bridge is a stone's throw away, and it's literally all that we could have asked for in zone 1 London! We had a wonderful stay, would definitely recommend to friends, and if we come back to London anytime soon, we're sure to get this place again!

David was great with communication! The property was about a 15 min walk to the underground. The property was in a safe area but beware or the pick pockets!!

Every morning I woke up to a stunning view of the marina and the Shard. I totally enjoyed being right by the marina, which is not just lovely but convenient with lots of shops.
The flat itself is comfortable and pleasant to be in. There's a large Waitrose right in front which is really convenient, as well as the proximity to the Tower Hill tube station and the Tower Bridge.
Would love to stay here again.

I spent a delightful six days at this studio apartment in East London. It is exactly as advertised: compact but comfortable, quiet, well-equipped, and very well-located. The kitchen and bathroom are recently remodeled and the small balcony is a treat. The location is wonderful: only minutes from the Thames, a short walk to the Tower Hill tube station, and close to the increasingly lively Bankside and South Bank. There's even a grocery store literally across the street. David was great to communicate with: clear, very responsive, and flexible. I'd rent the studio again in a nanosecond!

Lovely flat, very well equipped and also quiet - hard to believe it is so close to the hustle and bustle of Tower Bridge. My teenagers loved it and we felt at home immediately.
David was very prompt to reply to my first enquiry and reserved us a warm welcome the day we arrived.
Cannot be faulted-I would certainly stay again if I go again for another visit.

My wife and I stayed at the 2nd floor studio for a week at the end of April 2017. David was efficient and responsive and helpful. The apartment is small but had everything we needed and everything was in working order. We loved the area of St Katherine's docks. So close to the London Tower and Tower Bridge. But, at night it is so quiet you'd think you were staying in a tiny village. We felt completely safe walking to and from the flat and Tower Hill station. It is a lovely walk, especially at night. If arriving via the Tube get off at Tower Hill and take the underground walkway beneath the roads for the easiest walk with luggage. There are lively walkways along the Thames just a few steps from the flat. There is also a Waitrose just across the street for any grocery items you might want. It was a bit chilly and we were far too busy to spend much time on the small balcony but it is nice. I highly recommend this flat for 1 or 2 people and David is a wonderful host.

Once I saw it on homeway....I did extensive research but nothing could compete with the location. Quiet place, a rare find in large cities. Quaint with a small bed but there are two beds. Thoughtfully set up, drawers to tuck clothes away, modern cooker, washing machine worked brilliantly, easy to find and access. and market at front door. Hoping to come back soon and will definitely be recommending to all of the travelers I know - to visit London and book this place if available. Loved being tucked away in an interesting and vibrant city. Walking distance to the Tower of London, Sky Garden, Shard and the center of London, and the National Gallery is 5 underground stops away.

Small but well laid out flat perfect for two, minutes from Tower Bridge. A good selection of restaurants just outside your door on the quay around St Katherine Docks and a full service supermarket across the street. Could use a little sprucing up but still very comfortable. Although it's right next to Tower of London and Tower Bridge the tourist hordes thin out quickly this side of the bridge and the immediate neighborhood around the flat is very quiet.
4.8
The flat is small but extremely well set up and very comfortable. The location at St Katherine Docks is ideal for strolling the embankments of the Thames, and for travelling further afield the Tube is a short walk away. Many nice restaurants in the area, and a Waitrose supermarket right across the street if you want to eat in.
And a very accommodating manager. Could anything be better?
We will definitely be back.

The studio was so perfect for our 2-night stay that it was hard to go home ! To hear the birds singing in the morning in central London was a real treat. The studio was perfectly clean & very welcoming. Can't wait to return !!! The owner was very courteous & helpful also.

This flat lies simply really, was very clean, warm and well equipped, directly towards a supermarket. Perfectly, exact that what we have searched. David hat received us in the flat, reliably and just in time. We have felt very well and can recommend the flat most warmly. Many thanks for all......

This is a great spot - how lovey to walk past the boats when leaving and coming back to the flat. Great restaurants along the docks, too. The Tower of London is along the way to the Tube stop, an easy walk. The flat is a studio, small, but comfortable for my husband and me. David was great at answering all questions quickly and providing instructions and directions.

This is an excellent apartment and very central to all the main tourist attractions. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable, and the supermarket close by is very convenient for essentials. David was very accommodating and flexible with our travel arrangements which made life easier. Thoroughly recommend this apartment for its location and convenience to the tube, tower bridge etc.

this was an amazing experience. David was helpfull and charming, the studio lovely, clean and supplied with everything for a wonderfull stay. Bed was very comfy, altough a bit short for my tall husband, towels thick and fluffy, kitchen extremely well equipped. As there was a supply of of household stuff like dishwasher tablets etc you only have to bring your clothes. Even shampoo was available. the docks are fantastic, all kinds of restaurants right at your doorstep. don't miss Waitrose, fresh brad and sushi. Go and stay here if you want to visit London.

Great place, highly recommended!
We had a lovely stay at Charles's appartment. The check-in was without any problems. The appartment lies very central near Tower Bridge in an absolutely calm area. It's fully equipped, the bed is comfortable and there is also a cozy balcony with a view in the patio. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to come back again!

Perfect location and lovely flat!
We have stayed at two properties by this owner during our vacation to London and are overwhelmingly happy we did. Having a flat where would could make some meals, wash some clothes made our trip run even smoother. My 2 teenagers both thought it was great to have a little taste of what it would be like if you lived there. Close to Tower Hill for the tube and beautiful views all around, felt safe and the people were all friendly. David the owner was so simple to work with! We already know we'd stay there again and work with him.

Cute Flat Rental with Ease
If you are looking for a flat with good accommodations and great host communication, this one is for you. David did a great job setting us up with the place even though we arrived and left at odd hours. Also, the amenities within the flat were also splendid and very helpful (fridge, washing machine, iron and ironing board, fan, etc.). The flat is located about a ten minute walk from the nearest tube station (Tower Hill) which allowed for easy access to basically everywhere around the city and also means it was extremely close to tower bridge and the Tower of London (which is a great tourist attraction and a must see). The docks area itself is also really cute and quiet with plenty of restaurants located around the docks. There is also a Waitrose literally across the street which was a huge convenience for grabbing food supplies and other necessities. All in all, this place was great. I couldn't recommend it any more and plan on staying again during my next visit if it is available.

Good, quiet base to explore the city
My 2 kids and I stayed in the 2nd floor studio for 6 nights in March. It was a nice, clean, functional place and exactly what we needed. St. Katherine Docks is a pleasant, peaceful area but just a 7-8 minute walk past the Tower of London to Tower Hill station and the city.
Pros:
--David was responsive and honest; he went out of his way to arrange an early-morning taxi on our last day. (Thanks for everything, David.)
--Apartment is small (as advertised) but cozy for 1-2 adults or 1 adult and 2 kids like we had. The main bed is very comfortable for 2 people (futon was a bit hard but fine for a child); bath and shower are good; the kitchen is clean and has new appliances and modern dishes, etc.; balcony small but nice to have; the apartment is safe; wifi was good.
--Location is great for a home base--close to train, Tower Bridge (and river bus stop), and most city sights are just a few stops from Tower Hill.
--Waitrose supermarket right across the street was big benefit--good food and not noisy or crowded.
All in all, it was perfect for our needs. There are places to stay that are a bit more central but the quiet of the docks area was really nice to come home to after a day out.
