About this house rental

Charming and exotic house set back from the avenue, an air of a fisherman's house with its beams and old doors, completely renovated recently. Well equipped.
Very pleasant patio of 45 m2, installed on the terrace, six-seater lounge-lounge, barbecue and garden table with six chairs, large folding parasol, water shower ch / fr in season, to take full advantage of summer days and evenings.
Very bright cathedral living room (multiple glass doors) with its 3 sofas and 2 wicker armchairs, its majestic schefflera more than three meters high as well as its small separate space (alcove) (large bench seat) behind a bamboo screen for moments of relaxation alone or in pairs.
Attached and open contemporary kitchen, a large table and six chairs, well equipped, also very bright.
Small winter garden, with its two-seater sofa and its view of the lounge patio.
The house has three bedrooms:
- A so-called parental bedroom with a 160x190 bed, two bedside tables with light fixtures, shelves, a step stool as well as the main dressing room (quite large) and a storage area.
- A secondary bedroom with a 140x190 bed, two bedside tables with light fixtures, a shelf and a small chest of drawers.
- The third bedroom has two bunk beds with storage and lighting, a shelf and a small wardrobe (this is the smallest, it is often intended for children).
The main bathroom is adjacent to the master bedroom.
It is composed of a large bath-shower, a suspended toilet, a washing machine, a worktop with sink, a heated towel radiator and a walk-in shower , a hairdryer and a mirror storage unit.
The second bathroom is equipped with a shower, a teak combo cabinet and a small mobile fan heater.
Right next to it is the separate toilet.
The kitchen is fully equipped:
- Induction hob, extractor hood, dishwasher and large fridge, pyrolysis rotisserie oven, microwave oven and grill, 2 coffee makers, toaster, kettle and teapot, blender and pressure cooker, steam cooking, double sink, as well as all the dishes and cutlery possible (:-)
On request, you can be picked up from the airport or the train station.
Internet and Wifi works well, 4k free box.
Ideal house for families, surfers, golfers .... The Basque coast is 900 meters away, beach of the same name (free shuttle to go back up in summer), the market is just under a thousand meters.
Bus 50 m from the house, every 15 min.
Free parking for all types of vehicles about 80 m away and above all well shaded!
Location for two wheels in the small driveway adjoining the house.

Everything about our stay was superb.Phillipe and Maria could not have been more helpful.The house was very comfortable and immaculately clean.We were there for a couple of weeks and will definitely return.

Stylish, spacious and extremely well-equipped, the property is in a quiet location approximately 15 mins walk from the centre of Biarritz with its numerous restaurants, shops and fabulous food market. The southern beaches can also be accessed by foot or on the convenient buses. Marie and Philippe are great hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful week in the beautifully appointed and characterful property of our excellent hosts, Marie and Philippe. The house is equipped with everything that you could need for your stay, and benefits from a beautifully secluded patio area, where we enjoyed open-air breakfasts and peaceful evening drinks and relaxation. I do not recall a more friendly and helpful welcome than the one we received from Marie and Philippe, and we wouldnt hesitate to recommend this home from home to anyone wishing to spend some quality time in Biarritz. Speaking of Biarritz, the place is, of course, lovely, and the property is very well placed to provide easy, on-foot access to all that the town has to offer. Thanks Marie and Philippe!!

The house of Marie and Phillipe is such a nice place to stay! We (family of 4) had a wonderful time here! All the rooms were very clean, they are designed in a nice way, the kitchen fully equipped, we could even enjoy breakfast or lunch in the garden. For the trip to France we had our own bikes with us, so we could very easy reach the beach in a few minutes and enjoy the Atlantic coast, or reach the beach or the city center! I miss the morning walks to the bakery to get the best croissants in the world 😊. When you plan to visit beautiful Biarritz, I can recommend this place!

This is a very large bungalow and almost immaculate. There's lots good about it, including a DVD player that the owners oddly didn't connect up, an almost total lack of traffic noise and a butcher, local shop, bar and newsagent with a sideline in bread within 150-250 metres. The buses are cheap and impressive, though they thin out a lot around lunchtime. The locality almost feels more like a large village or small town. You won't need me to tell you that you can get Eurostar through-ticketed via TGV to Biarritz to get there. If you want to chill out, read a few books, wander down to the seaside when the mood takes you, then this place may be close to ideal. The most obvious issue some people will have with it is how far it is from the main part of the town and the seafront - around 15 minutes walk. It doesn't sound a lot, but it is moderately downhill (i.e. uphill on the way back), and it's far enough that over a week or so it could be a niggle especially if you have mobility problems. There are restaurants, but not huge numbers of them and not particularly close (perhaps ten minutes). Though there is a nice patio for any warm sunny weather that you have, there's no view of the sea, no sound of the waves from the front door, no log burner to huddle round. Those things can be very nice, some places do have them, and if they're more important to you than impressive spaciousness, then this may not be the right place for you, particularly if you struggle to walk long distances. There are places (not necessarily at Biarritz) that are close to stations where you can get trains up and down the coast to all sorts of other places, and if that's what you're after, I'm afraid this isn't it. I'm not saying don't go there, just be aware of what it is and what it's not. It's also worth mentioning that there is a €500 damage deposit, payable in cash on arrival, and that's a lot of banknotes, though if you make frequent trips to Europe it may not bother you.

We loved our stay in Marie and Philippes house. It suited us perfectly - 4 adults & 2 children. The outside patio is a wonderful place to relax with plenty of shade if required. The whole house is well equipped with a spacious kitchen, and sitting area to cook and socialise in. It also has lovely quiet corners too. 10 mins to Cote de Basques surfing and 10 mins to centre of town. Marie and Philippe were wonderful and couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Thank you Marie and Philippe.

We had a lovely stay in this lovely property. In total; there were 2 totals, 1 child (3 years old) and 2 dogs. The owners were quick at responding and answered all of our questions prior to me confirming the booking. The property is modern, lovely, spacious and has great character. It is against a busy road and we had to park on the side road (which was no hassle at all), in a central location, 15/20 minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and beaches. The owners are very friendly and will go out of their way to help you out. I would recommend this property. Merci Marie & Philippe

The property was newly renovated, extremely clean & the owners were on hand for any questions. It was well positioned within walking distance of shops, beaches & parks for us to walk dogs. The owners provided new sheets for our second week & even booked our dogs into the vets as my French is limited. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property & would rebook should we return to Biarittz. Many thanks to Marie & Phillipe, the perfect hosts x
