Villa Sol-Mar is a luxuriously appointed 3 bedroom single family home with 2 full bathrooms nestled on a private ¼ acre botanical garden. Villa Sol-Mar features spacious open concept living areas combining kitchen, dining room, media room. The wall-to-wall French doors off the Florida room open directly onto the inviting salt water pool…heated for your comfort during the cooler months. The kitchen is a gourmet chef’s delight featuring granite counters and top quality appliances. The large peninsula with its stylish high stools is a focal point for the whole family.
The master bedroom is furnished with a 4-poster bed, TV, and a dedicated work space. The modern en-suite bathroom has a double sink and a shower stall with floor-to-ceiling glass wall. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed and the 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds.
Your tropical experience begins the moment you drive up the expansive circular driveway…a majestic Pandanus, Pygmy Date Palms, ancient Cardboard Cycads, Agaves, mondo grasses, bird of paradise and Xanadus…Welcome to Villa Sol-Mar! Completed with a garage providing protection for your vehicles from the sun.

Villa Sol-Mar offers you a variety of outdoor experiences…from al fresco pool-side dining to immersing yourself in a lush tropical garden. The pool is ideally situated on the south-facing side of Villa Sol-Mar with just enough shade from the mango trees and palm trees to take a break from the sun when you want to. The large patio surrounding the pool has a dining table at one end with comfortable seating for 6 and 3 lounge chairs alongside the pool. Even on rainy days you can sit outside on the love seat under the covered section of the patio.There is a propane Weber grill on the patio.
Villa Sol-Mar is an oasis of tranquility within the city. It is 2 miles north of West Palm Beach City center and 250 yards west of Florida’s intracoastal waterway. Beautiful home inside and out, backyard and pool was gorgeous! Didn’t even have to leave the home if you did not want to. Extremely clean and so many things provided- pool towels, beach chairs and toys, and everything you need in the kitchen. So many toys and supplies for my one year old! Host was extremely accommodating and was very easy to reach! Also close to so many places in the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Driving into the neighborhood for our stay, we were initially skeptical of the location. Any concerns we may have had were soon dispelled. The house was immaculate and well-appointed. The kitchen/dining/living area is specious and comfortable. The master bedroom and bath were nice. The real jewel of the house is the backyard and pool. The house was everything we were hoping for and definitely would stay here again.

It was a pleasure to spend a week in this beautifully decorated and spotless home — and that’s what it felt like, a home & not just a rental house. The rear yard is a tropical paradise. And something most rentals lack: a garage. Susan was very responsive to our inquiries & provided a perfect vacation retreat.

Everything was perfect. The property was close to all the dive centers and perfect for our family of four to relax after diving. It was close to some great restaurants and shopping. The communication was great and timely. Most importantly the property was as described and the owners checked before, after and during the stay to make sure everything was going well. We will stay here again when visiting. Susan was great to work with and made everything so easy. I recommend this property to any family visiting the area.

What a beautiful place, we enjoyed the private pool and gardens so much, we barely left the property! Every detail was thought of here, the kitchen was fully stocked, beach gear available, even wireless phone charging pads in the bedrooms. We got married during our stay, and the home had so many beautiful backdrops both inside and out for photos. Although we had a car, we used Uber a few times to go out to dinner - easy to get and only a short ride to many great restaurants and bars. We definitely hope to return in the future.

The owners were easy to work with, and very responsive. Everything at the property was very nice, and matched the expectations that we had from the listing. We especially enjoyed the back patio, pool, and garden. Each day we spent our mornings in the backyard, and then went out in the afternoon & evening. We used one of the bicycles while we were there, as well as the washer/dryer and the kitchen appliances (stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, & refrigerator). Everything worked perfectly. We would definitely consider staying at this property again, when we return to the area for another visit. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It was exactly as pictured, very clean and charming. It offered everything we could need, including a beautiful backyard and pool - which our son loved. The hosts were so easy to work with, and the home is close to many restaurants, family activities, and nightlife. We would absolutely recommend this property, and will certainly be back again!

Thoroughly enjoyed an 8 night stay. The house is very comfortable in a quiet neighbourhood and the pool area out the back is a super place to spend some relaxation time. Well located for getting around the Palm Beach / West Palm Beach area. The open plan layout of the kitchen, living room and dining areas creates a nice spacious feel. The property is tastefully decorated but is also very comfortable and relaxing. As a host, Susan was both easy and helpful to deal with, responding really quickly to requests. In addition she provided recommendations to restaurants in the area and we thoroughly enjoyed all of those we sampled. A comprehensive information pack is provided. I'd thoroughly recommend staying here.

Honestly cannot recommend this home more highly! It was just perfect for our family beach vacay. Susan was responsive and wonderful to work with. They truly have thought of everything you may need. House was beautifully decorated inside & extremely clean. You literally can come with your clothes - they provide everything else! I gave a 4-star review because we had a problem with how warm the house got at night. Not comfortable at all. We called Susan & explained the problem. We were lucky that we found fans in one of the closets that a previous renter had purchased & used them. It seemed that this was a problem in the past - my thought is that if it was already a problem just fix it. Instead we were offered the option that they would "call the thermostat manufacturer". We appreciated the fact that Susan got back to us so quickly. Otherwise, it was a lovely house!

We had an awesome time at Sue & Claude’s place. The communication was super easy and thorough and the place looked exactly like the pictures. Before our visit, Sue made sure to provide us with detailed instructions and information about the area. All rooms were super clean and well equipped including several beach chairs and toys. Pool was perfect size and also kid friendly (for older toddlers). The neighborhood is very conveniently located (close to restaurants and beach). Uber was about $8 to get to the downtown. Would absolutely recommend to stay there!
