About this villa rental

Discover the Villa Rhapsodie, the spacious family Basque villa and its charming and characterful interior with its different spaces making it possible to ideally and comfortably accommodate one or two families sharing the heated and secure swimming pool of 8 x 4 meters, the 3 terraces and the garden landscaped fenced.
Two entrances, the South entrance and the West entrance of the 900m2 property, allow access to the Villa Rhapsodie discreetly divided into two adjoining and communicating entities by the garden and the swimming pool: La Grande and la Petite Rhapsodie.
The Grande, ideal for 6 beds, is composed on the ground floor of an equipped kitchen, a living area with a dining room in an Arcachon style veranda for 8 to 10 people and a comfortable lounge for relaxation and media.
Upstairs, a bathroom with bath and sink, a separate toilet and 3 bedrooms: a first bedroom with 1 double bed of 160 with private shower and sink, a second bedroom with 1 double bed of 160 and large balcony, and a third bedroom with 2 single beds of 90 with sink.
On the garden level, a laundry area with washing machine, dryer, ... and a separate toilet.
La Petite Rhapsodie, for 4 beds, is composed of an equipped kitchen, a living dining room, a WC and 2 bedrooms:
a West bedroom with 1 double bed of 160 and bathroom and private shower, and a second North bedroom with 1 double bed of 160 with bathroom and private shower.

Relax with an aperitif on one of the three covered, shaded or full sun terraces, with a pleasant view of the swimming pool in a fenced landscaped garden out of sight:
The covered South East terrace has a comfortable garden furniture for 10 people facing the swimming pool and a barbecue / plancha nearby.
The south-facing covered terrace has a dining table for 6 people with direct view of the swimming pool.
The partially covered west terrace has a dining table for 4 to 5 people.
A parking space for 2 to 3 cars is provided on the property.
The pool and garden maintenance service is provided once a week.

Perfect venue for a family holiday - 8 adults and one 3 year old. The house and facilities suited our needs perfectly and the pool was the crowning glory. We all had the most wonderful time - with wonderful weather too. Arcachon is a town with everything - an amazing park, bakeries, shops, fabulous beach, bike hire and links to everywhere we wanted to visit. We rented Villa Rhapsodie for three weeks over the summer holiday for our family and for friends to join us. The villa was a very high standard, beautifully furnished, spacious and full of character, a real home from home. The garden and swimming pool were lovely, different porches and areas to sit depending on the time of day and the heat of the day. Little Rhapsodie was included within the rental and was perfect for our visiting friends, also a family of four. The location of villa Rhapsodie is ideal, situated in the historic and peaceful Winter Village with a park, playground and quick access to the shops and town beaches. We hired bikes which made additional beaches within easy reach along traffic free cycle paths. These would also be easy to get to on foot. We loved Arcachon for its wide sandy beaches, restaurants, shops, boat trips and activities all on the doorstep of the villa. Caroline and Jean Paul were kind hosts, always easily contactable and quick to respond to all questions both prior to the holiday and during. We hope to return. Lizzie and Rob

A very beautiful and personal villa, split into two really independent entities. Almost perfect condition due to careful maintenance. Jean-Paul and Caroline cared about all our needs in a very lovely and personal manner and very always available and highly reactive.

Das von den Eigentümern mit Liebe und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Haus im typischen Arcachon-Stil eignet sich ideal für zwei Familien, die einen Urlaub gemeinsam genießen wollen, da es aus zwei separaten Einheiten besteht. Die Ausstattung ist mehr als komplett und der traumhaft eingewachsene Garten mit Pool hat uns viele schöne Stunden bereitet. Alles ist gepflegt und perfekt sauber. Nicht zuletzt dank der tollen Eigentümer die jederzeit mit Hilfe und Tips zur Verfügung standen.

Located on walking distance from the bakery, Arcachon beach and city centre, about 2 minutes drive to Pereira beach; this beautiful well-decorated family house is a wonderful place to spend your holidays. We had a warm welcome from our hosts, Caroline and Jean-Paul. Sailing, cycling, a boat trip to Cap-ferret or surfing. There are enough leisure activities to enjoy for all ages. Hopefully next year we will come back!

Beautiful house, creatively decorated in a good location for accessing the town. 2 minutes to the local park and elevator, 5 minutes to the Supermarket and only 15 minutes walk to the beaches. The house was spotless and fully equipped with all necessities. Caroline, the host, was available for all queries before arrival.

Nous avons passé 15 jours de grand bonheur en famille. Maison très agréable extrêmement bien située : proche plage et centre ville ( pas besoin de prendre sa voiture !) Maison décorée avec goût et très bien équipée sans vis à vis car très bien arborée. La piscine est chauffée un plus très appréciable. Les propriétaires sont charmants et très à l’ecoute. Nous recommandons cette location et espérons pouvoir revenir très vite.

Vi var en stor familie med flere generationer på dejlig sommerferie i skønne Arcachon. Villaen var yderst velegnet til formålet. God plads til alle og god fordeling af værelser. Meget veludstyret og velfungerende hus. Oveni dette er huset smukt og yderst smagfuldt indrettet. Især udespisestuen fandt vi meget smuk og charmerende. Også haven er virkelig flot. Poolen var virkelig dejlig at have i sommervarmen, forfriskende, men aldrig kold. Lounge-miljø lige ved siden af poolen var bestemt også et favoritsted at sidde og nyde skyggen og de lune aftner. Huset er meget fint placeret i forhold til byen, ikke lang vej til det hele. Også nemt at benytte elevator i parken, hvis benene var trætte. Byen er en fin lille hyggelig badeby med gode restauranter, butikker og udflugtsmuligheder. Vi lejede cykler og kom nemt rundt og se Arcachon og omegn. Værtsparret er yderst venlige og hjælpsomme. Det hele har været rigtig godt og vi vil meget gerne komme til Arcachon igen og også meget gerne bo i den samme skønne villa.

Charming Hosts, Exquisite Property, Great Location

Caroline and Jean Paul were charming, accommodating and super responsive. The house is beautiful with unique decorative touches throughout and yet also fully equipped with every practical necessity we needed during our stay - from wifi/tv/cd central entertainment unit to the pool and related accessories and the BBQ and fully stocked kitchen and laundry. The location was perfect near Parc Moresque in the Ville d'Hiver close to everything. We were there with the kids and also had a separate unit for the grandfather to be with us and have his own privacy as well. Absolutely fantastic experience and we will definitely be coming back!
