Comfy beds and pillows. Good water pressure for showers. Good location close to beach. Excellent staff service. Nice little refrigerator. Exterior well maintained. Night security.
Room next to pool water pump so little noisy all night long. Saw 5 cockroaches running around floor and table. Killed 4 of 5. 1 got away. Probably many more we didn’t see. Inadequate shower design. Water goes beyond shower area. Shower curtain doesn’t keep water from going outside. No breakfast on site. Had to walk down street to find place to eat breakfast. Parking private car limited to street only in front or across street.

Simple accommodation with kitchenette, the basics are provided. Friendly and accommodating staff. Very clean. Central and on the beach, walking distance to bus station. Large pool and beach restaurant. On check-out day, I appreciated that I was able to store my luggage and continue staying in the common facilities until the evening. The receptionist Sylvia speaks English well and was very helpful. I only stayed one night.
This is a family hotel and kids like to play in the pool - be prepared for noise. Live bands playing in the afternoon can be loudly heard throughout and prevented me from using the restaurant and beach during those hours - it's a matter of taste and volume.

Lovely well maintained beach front hotel in Melaque. Our room was spotless and we had excellent service from the friendly staff. Just a one night stay for us but would recommend it to anyone wanting a longer beach hotel experience.

very basic room, beds were uncomfortable and toilet was broken. booked parking but when arrived there was no space. Couldn’t eat in the restaurant in the evening due to a private event, that we were not told about on booking.

Wow!! The best part of the beach is in front, the hotel is across the street from out favourite breakfast spot, and steps away from the bus station. Plus, the staff is incredible, ie: got us a coffee maker, let us safely store our bikes, etc. We're so happy that we booked here! Highly recommend it.

location and staff! Freddy, Lucy, Osi and Mombo are fantastic assets to the hotel...joyous and hard working. Hotel is kept impeccably clean by the staff as well

What a great place to stay in Melaque. Does not look like much from the road but quite nice inside. The courtyard has a pool and places to sit. That said, we did not go in it because the beach is right there. Great places to eat and be entertained right at your door step. The room was a good size with a kitchen, a full bedroom and a big bathroom. There are shops right out the door for you to peruse.
Will definitely stay there next time we are down there. Melaque is so chill and have always felt safe. Great food wherever we went and at great prices!!!

Comfortable beds. Helpful, friendly staff. Great location, on the beach front. Nice pool.

Exceptionally nice staff in hotel and restaurant. Was first given a windowless room, when I said no was given a large bedroom, kitchen, and bath, with windows. Very spacious and clean. Kitchen had a fridge and stovetop with some scratched up Teflon pans older than me. OK since I don't cook.
Courtyard and pool noise very loud during the day, quiet by 11.

Melaque is a great little town. Las Hamacas location on the beach and main street is perfect. The staff are extremely nice and the rooms very very clean. I had a kitchenette and it was fully stocked and the fridge was a good size.
For me I would have preferred bigger windows and an ocean view. Rooms are dark. Almost all rooms face the pool and not the ocean. The restaurant has the best view but I didn't always want to eat to enjoy the view.

The place is very well located, close to everything, including the bus station. It was also very clean and the restaurant was very good. It is a very good place to stay for a long weekend.

On booking.com website I booked a room for $51, but when I got to the hotel I was charged $91 ...we flew and took a bus...long day and I was in no mood to argue.

Excellent service. Good location. A/C in all rooms. Clean and spacious rooms.
Just a little more clean and it would have been excellent.

It is a clean hotel and for the most part the staff is friendly.
They didn't change our sheets during our 4 day stay.

Great little hotel right on the beach! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. I originally booked 7 nights but liked the location and hotel so much I decided to stay another 9 nights. Comfortable bed, super clean, cold a/c and a great restaurant with ocean views. Its definitely a little piece of paradise.
