“Sea Mist Cottage” is situated directly on the shore of Tomales Bay in Marshall, offering breathtaking views of Tomales Bay and Point Reyes National Park. The property consists of two separate units, “Sea Mist Cottage” and “Sea Mist Studio”, which are rented individually. This listing pertains to the larger Cottage unit and can host up to 4 guests. Enjoy a relaxing stay with your own pier, hot tub, high-end amenities, and cozy ambience!

2. The home is professionally cleaned with eco-friendly products.

3. No chores for our guests! That’s what the cleaning fee is for, right? We have a fantastic team of housekeepers, some of whom have worked with us for over 10 years. We fully clean each home top to bottom, fully restocking all amenities, replacing worn-out items, and keeping things fresh and pleasant for our guests. We use top-notch cleaning products without annoying scents or chemicals, and our cleaners are paid living wages because they are the backbone of what we do and you’ll appreciate their attention to detail.

4. Absolutely no parties or loud/late-night gatherings. We have neighbors nearby on both sides who are noise-sensitive. Please respect the serenity of the neighborhood. If you're looking for a place to cut loose and laugh and play music late into the night, we have other homes nearby that are more appropriate. Please ask us for alternative accommodation and we’d be happy to help find a place!

5. No pets at this stay.

6. Please be aware that the property is located on Highway One; occasional noise from passing vehicles, especially during busy weekends, is possible.

The property is set up for contactless entry. We are a local company that manages the property. We're just 15 minutes away, and our office is in Point Reyes Station. We're here 7 days a week to answer your questions or address any issues, usually within an hour, even on weekends and holidays.

The cottage is located in the village of Marshall, ideally situated on the East shore of Tomales Bay, making for a great place to watch the sun set! Easily walk, bike, or drive to countless hiking/biking trails and nature attractions. Local eateries, like Marshall Store, Tony's Seafood, and Hog Island Oyster Company, are within walking distance.

Our stay in Tomales was perfect! Very well appointed cottage. Wood burning stove with plenty of firewood, kitchen utensils/equipment, beds were comfortable, clean and well kept. All our needs were met. Owner provided information that was insightful and useful. We especially appreciated the written oyster shucking directions and knives. My son is now a pro-shucker (3 dozen oysters enjoyed).

we only spent one night at rental due to illness. so kinda a bummer for us. waste of money due to no fault of renter. the place was clean and very nice. the only complaint was that i did not see that this was a shared property. not that it made too much of a difference but i would have liked to have know. also the door to our property had no lock into door in kitchen- again not huge but something that shoud be dealt with.

Sea Mist Cottage was lovely, well-located, and comfortable. We had attentive service from the property manager. (There was a half-day electric outage and they were really helpful and pleasant!)

We did a little ladies getaway with oysters and hiking and the house was the perfect home base. We loved waking up to the changing views of the bay and doing cold plunges during hot tub soaks. I recommend this house.
