A warm welcome from Mme Wendling, who even helped us unload the car! The views from the terraces were spectacular. Everything we needed was there. Access by road is straightforward, and the parking is great. Having aircon was a bonus. Nearby residents were very friendly. Agree with others about the uphill walk back from the town! All in all we had a lovely, relaxing holiday.

We stayed at the villa for three weeks and had a great stay. It has an amazing view and was a large and comfortable space for us and our 1 year old child, including a crib and booster seat. The pool was also great.
Note that this villa does not have wifi and requires a fairly intense and steep walk to get into town, which may be difficult for older guests or young children.
Overall I would absolutely recommend the villa! Thank you!

This apartment provides all the things most people look for in a vacation rental, including a superb view which can be seen from every room, good size rooms, excellent air conditioning, tile floors, well-working stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and clothes washer, high ceilings, outdoor space, no noise, a large information binder on local attractions, beach umbrella and beach chairs, and a fabulous deep pool with a view of the Mediterranean. The apartment pictures don’t do it justice. The town of Collouire is a fifteen minute walk from the apartment and is incredibly lovely with lots of restaurants, bakeries, ice-cream shops, supermarket, twice-weekly markets, and forts/castles/churches to explore. Collouire’s beach is rocky, but some of France’s nicest sandy beaches are a ten-minute drive from the apartment by car. The Spanish border is approximately 45-minutes by car. Lots to do and see in the region, including vineyards, medieval towns, hiking, kayaking, and more. The hostess, Mrs. Wendling is very helpful, flexible, and kind. We intend to return someday. Propriétaire trés agréable. Logement bien équipé et assez spacieux, conforme à la description. Seul bémol, un écran TV trop petit et une réception parfois mauvaise. Dommage également qu'il n'y ait pas de WiFi. Belle vue.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. La vue est magnifique. Le calme absolu. La villa est très bien équipée, très propre. La climatisation est appréciable. L’accès au centre ville de Collioure est rapide à pied. La piscine commune est très agréable aussi. Manque juste quelques transats.

Très belle villa avec une vue magnifique sur les hauteurs de Collioure dans une résidence privé, avec parking privé.
Très propre et très bien équipée. On est très proche du centre mais dans un endroit très tranquille. On est également très proche des Pyrénées Orientales (15min en voiture) pour faire des promenades magnifiques!

The communal pool is great, and has never been busy during our stay. The apartment is very well equipped, beds are comfortable and the air conditioning was a massive plus. The balcony and the terrace with bbq are fabulous. One of the best places we stayed in France!

Très bon accueil de la propriétaire qui nous a donné un excellent morceau de pain frais pour le petit déjeuner car les premiers commerces se situent en contrebas (20 min de marche) . La maison est au calme. Tout est conforme aux photos. Bon à savoir, il faut descendre une douzaine de marches pour joindre la maison. Très bonne literie. La maison est bien équipée.

De très bonnes vacances !
La maison de Madame wendling est magnifique, très bien équipée et bénéficie d'une vue superbe. Nous avons surtout apprécié de pouvoir juste poser nos valises car tout etait prévu : pastilles LV, lessive, sel, huile, ... et le forfait linge de maison à 60 euros!

La réception de notre hôtesse Claude Wendling fût des plus chaleureuse, Bagnyuls, pain et anchois à l'arrivée fut très réconfortant.Nous n'avons manqué de rien, tout est là .Méme la chaleur accablante autour de 33 degrés était très bien grâce à la clim que l'hotesse a eu l'amabilité d'ouvrir avant l'arrivée.

The resort can be windy as its at the east end of the pyrennees so weather can be dramatic. The town is very charming and its only 5 miles to Intermarche along the highway. However Brits should note that nearly all shops are shut on Sundays and close early (for us) on Saturday night. There is a good Carrefour in Colloure - like a Tesco Express but with better food!
Its useful to have a place on site to be able to get wi-fi.
An ideal place for two couple sharing but not suitable for the infirm as its on a very steep hillside site and there are many steps (without handrails) to get to the front door.
All in all, highly recommended.

Une magnifique villa, très bien située, avec tout le confort, propre et bien entretenue. Elle est proche du centre ville, du port et des plages, des commerces et des restaurants, qu'on peut rejoindre à pied en dix minutes (mais attention au dénivellée pour le retour). Depuis la terrasse, la vue, de la mer jusqu'à la montagne, est splendide. La résidence est calme. C'est un lieu de départ idéal pour de nombreuses randonnées ou excursions. De plus l'accueil des propriétaires est excellent. Leur indication du site naturel de Paulilles, à quelques kilomètres, nous a été très utile pour trouver une plage paisible loin de l'agitation du centre de Collioure. C'est une villa familiale que nous recommandons à tous ceux et celles qui aiment la tranquilité tout en désirant profiter d'un lieu touristique très prisé.
