About this house rental
Villa completely rebuilt by architect in 2008, located about 100 meters from the beach of Sant Ambroggio. Comprising 2 bedrooms, one with ensuite bathroom and walk-in shower; a second outdoor bathroom identically; a large living room of 40 m²; a fully fitted kitchen with adjoining utility room. Upscale with air conditioning in all rooms, stone interior and exterior walls, floors and walls of bathrooms in Burgundy stone, Internet and WIFI, flat screen TV, Stereo and DVD ... 80 sqm terrace with sea view through the pine trees, pergola, surrounded by a private garden with garden furniture, outdoor shower, gas grill. The 2 rooms overlook a second terrace and private garden on the mountain side. The cleaning at the beginning and end of the rental, weekly rental of linen (sheets and towels) are included in the price.
The navy of Sant Ambroggio has many attractions for tourists; the villa, you will put less than five minutes to get to the beach and dive into the big blue or visit the small marina where you can, at leisure, rent boats, jet-ski or go scuba diving .
Small hiking trails along the rugged coastline surrounding the Navy and the view is magnificent; sunsets are truly stunning and you will achieve great photos, especially around the classified site of the peak Spano.
You will have all the seaside attractions on site, but the Navy is also an excellent starting point for all kinds of explorations or hiking.
You can go every day lie on pretty small sandy beaches within 10 minutes drive. Less than an hour drive, you can go on the beautiful beach of Saleccia, in the desert of Agriates known for having served as the setting for the film 'The Longest Day'. Continuing along this road, you reach Saint Florent and from there you can go around the Cap Corse.
In the other direction, a half hour drive, you can enjoy the natural pools dug into the red porphyry Torrent Fango Galeria behind and on this road, continue to the exceptional site of Porto and Creeks of Piana.
For sports enthusiasts, lovers of high mountain, the starting point of the famous GR20 is located in the village of Calenzana, 20 minutes drive from the Navy.
In Balagne, the mountain is everywhere, overlooking the sea and in the spring, you can see the many snowy peaks including the Monte Cinto.
Of course, tour the medieval villages of Balagne is an attraction which one never tires and you can leisurely stop in really typical and tasty restaurants.
In 3/4 hour you reach Ponte-Leccia, on the road from Bastia and from there you can walk under the tall chestnut trees of Castagniccia and make a stop in the pretty village of Porta and especially you make to the sources Orezza in its Green lush refreshing on hot summer days.
For the restoration, you can choose; is very nice small breweries pizzerias where it is pleasant to land after a day of beach or mountain; The most popular with parents because children love to eat and have fun there is 'The Chariot' in the center of Algajola; large pizzas can be served in you 'brasserie' but you can reserve a table at the restaurant for a meal typically Corsican boar sauce or veal and the prices are also very attractive.

Très belle location
Très belle location où nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille. La location est impeccable, conforme à l’annonce, très bien équipée avec matériels et matériaux hauts de gamme. Remerciements particuliers à M. Braconnier pour sa gentillesse lors des formalités d’arrivée et de départ et à la propriétaire Mme Riquier pour sa gentillesse, ses conseils utiles avant notre arrivée et une fois sur place (le livret de bienvenue est rempli de bon plans). Nous reviendrons c’est certain.

Excellent séjour dans une maison très bien située, très agréable et parfaitement équipée
Nous étions 4 adultes à séjourner dans cette maison. L’accueil de Stéphane est parfait, efficace et précis. Le livret de bienvenue rédigé par les propriétaires est riche, documenté et très explicite. La maison est très confortable, joliment décorée et l’équipement très complet. L’emplacement proche de la plage et des commerçants est idéal.
En résumé, une location où il fait bon vivre et qui donne envie de revenir.

Unbedingt zu empfehlen
Super gelegene und toll ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Das Objekt liegt in zweiter Reihe zum Meer in einer Ferienhaussiedlung. Von der Terrasse aus blickt man durch Palmen auf das türkisfarbende Meer. Fußläufig sind einige Geschäfte und Restaurants zu erreichen, darunter auch ein Bäcker.

La villa est très bien équipée à tous points de vue, a l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur avec une superbe terrasse.
Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'accueil et le cadeau de bienvenue, l'équipement très complet de la cuisine, le calme, l'accès rapide à la plage et les douces soirées sur la terrasse.

Ein Traum in Meeresnähe!
Nach der knapp 2stündigen Fahrt von Bastia aus kamen wir an und uns wurde von Stéphane (nach vorherigem neuen Telefonat) alles genau gezeigt und beschrieben.
Die Lage der Villa ist sehr gut: 1 Minute zum Meer, 2 Minuten zum Bäcker oder einem Metzger am Hafen, 4 Minuten (mit dem Auto) zu einem kleinen Supermarkt und eine wunderbare Basis für Ausflüge in die Umgebung (Calvin, L'Ile Rousse,...).
Das Haus selbst ist wunderbar, man hat vom Ess-/Wohnbereich einen wunderschönen Meerblick (die bodentiefe Fensterfront verleiht dem ganzen Haus eine luftige Offenheit), eine super Terrasse (über die man sehr schnell ans Meer gelangt), die beiden Schlafzimmer sind sehr gemütlich (eins davon mit direktem Badzugang), die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet und der Gasgrill auf der Terrasse mit Plancha lädt zum Grillen geradezu ein. Oben an der Einfahrt zum Ort (Fahrzeit ca. 5 Minuten) gibt es noch einen Händler mit lokalem Gemüse und manchmal einen Verkaufswagen mit Fisch aus der Region. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Maison idéalement située, plage a portée de main, commerces a 10mn, Calvi a 15mn dans une région superbe. L équipement de la villa est très complet, bref tout est regroupé pour garantir des vacances de tout repos. Je recommande!

Einfach nur empfehlenswert! Herrlich zum Entspannen!
Korsika, Marine de Sant Ambroggio zwischen Calvi und L´ile Rousse, knappe 2 Stunden Autofahrt von der Fähre in Bastia zum Urlaubsdomizil.
Das Ferienhaus besticht durch seine einzigartige Lage in 2. Reihe, durch eine kleine (ruhige) Strasse zum Strand getrennt.
Man ist in 3 Minuten am Sandstrand mit traumhafter Kulisse. Hier kann man beim Schnorcheln noch zahlreiche Fische beobachten. Achtung: wir hatten einmalig Feuerquallen-Kontakt.
Das Haus ist für 6 Personen geeignet. 2 Schlafzimmer, 2 Badezimmer und eine ausziehbare Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer mit kompletter Glasfront mit Blick zur Terrasse, voll klimatisiert. Die Küche ist top eingerichtet. Hier vermisst man nichts. Auf der großzügigen Terrasse blickt man durch die Pinienbäume aufs Meer. Hier hat man eine Außendusche und einen direkten Zugang zum Privatparkplatz. Der Grill auf der Terrasse lädt zum abendlichen Grillfest ein - den haben wir wirklich täglich genutzt. Morgens und abends haben wir auf der Terrasse gesessen. Gegen Mücken kann man sich mit Spiralen zum Abbrennen und Insekten-Spray wehren, sehr wirkungsvoll.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind am kleinen Yachthafen vorhanden - 5 Minuten Fussweg: kleiner Supermarkt, Bäckerei, Metzgerei, Bistro, Souvenirladen, Restaurant (man kann auch Pizza zum Mitnehmen bestellen!), Tankstelle, Friseur.
Große Supermärkte sind in L´ile Rousse und Calvi vorhanden - 20-30 Minuten mit dem Auto.
Wir hatten eine angenehme Kommunikation per Email in englisch mit unserer Vermieterin Annick. Ihr Verwalter Stephane vor Ort war ebenfalls sehr hilfsbereit: bei unserer Anreise war das Schloss der Terrasse defekt. Hier wurde sich sofort gekümmert und binnen 2 Stunden (am Samstag 20:00 Uhr!) war das Problem aus der Welt. Wirklich professionelles Handling.

Fantastic house, fantasic beach, fantastic small town
This was the most fantastic place. We just loved the house and only 2 min to the most incredible beach where it is possible to snorkling and exploring fish in the clearest water. We can only recommend this place and give it very well deserved 5 stars.

Schöne Lage und angenehme Anlage
Die Ausstattung entsprach den Angaben im Online-Inserat. Negativ muss erwähnt werden, dass die Duschen zwar mit einem schönen Naturstein ausgestattet waren, der jedoch zu einer sehr ungenehmen Schimmelbildung führte. Eine entsprechende Reinigung wurde uns vor Ort ausdrücklich untersagt. Dies bereitete unserem Wohlbefinden einen deutlichen Dämpfer. Ausserdem fiel die elektrische Anlage immer mal wieder aus.

Herrliches Häuschen in Strandnähe
Dieses wunderschöne Haus befindet sich in zweiter Reihe zum Strand und bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen (moderne Küche, Waschmaschine, Trockner, Klimananlage, schnelles W-LAN, etc.). Die gesamte Einrichtung ist hochwertig und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Durch die meerseitige Glasfront hat man einen schönen Meerblick (selbst beim Kochen) und da sie auf 2/3 der Breite aufgeschoben werden kann, ist die Terasse quasi ein weiterer Wohnraum. Die sehr große Terasse kann vielfältig genutzt werden und man hat von dort auch Zugang zum Parkplatz (nur für Bewohner, also keine Sucherei nach einem freien Platz).
Der schöne kleine (und hundefreie) Strand ist in drei Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar - man kann ins Meer springen und sich danach auf der Terasse entspannen und muß nicht am Strand liegen (und braucht daher auch nicht viel tragen, ausser Handtuch und Spielzeug für die Kinder).
Der Ort ist klein und besteht eigentlich nur aus Ferienhäusern und einem Club-Med. Am fußläufig erreichbaren Hafen (4 Minuten) gibt es eine Bäckerei, eine Metzgerei, einen Supermarkt, ein Café und ein Restaurant (empfehlenswert). Am Ortseingang befindet sich ein Obst-/Gemüsestand und zweimal pro Woche wird frischer Fisch am Hafen verkauft. Große Supermärkte sind per Auto in ca. 20-30 Minuten erreichbar (Calvi und Ile Rousse) - ebenso wie eine Vielzahl an Restaurants. Die beiden Städte sind auch per Bahn (Train de Balagne) erreichbar.
Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin verlief problemlos und der Verwalter vor Ort ist sehr nett (und sogar überaus pünktlich ;) ). Die Angaben im Inserat sind korrekt - vor Ort ist es noch schöner, als es die Fotos zeigen.
Für Familien, die Entspannung suchen und Freude am Selbstversorgen haben, wird man schwerlich etwas Besseres finden... 5 Sterne plus!!!

L'excellence !
Nous avons loué cette maison pleine de charme et nous en attendions beaucoup... et nous n'avons pas été déçus. La prestation est de grande qualité avec un niveau d'équipement impressionnant. La mer est à 50 m avec une plage très sympa. La marina est équipée de petits commerces d'appoint.
Bref, un endroit à ne pas manquer pour tous les amoureux de la Corse comme nous le sommes, de surcroît idéalement placé pour la découverte de la Balagne, Nous y reviendrons.

Excellent séjour dans cette villa tout confort
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette villa aux prestations haut de gamme. La situation est optimale à deux pas de la jolie plage de Sant Ambroggio que l'on aperçoit de la magnifique terrasse arborée! Tout est prévu pour que les locataires se sentent bien, rien ne manque, l'accueil est très professionnel et chaleureux à la fois, les propriétaires sont charmants et font tout pour que leurs hôtes passent un agréable séjour entre attentions et conseils de visite et de restaurants. La villa a été magnifiquement rénovée et est l'une des plus belles des quartiers I Gatti et U Pratu qui sont les plus cotés de la marine. En résumé, une superbe villa, bien située avec tout le confort, idéal pour profiter de la végétation et des plages de la Balagne!

Très belle villa bien située
Nous avons passé une semaine avec nos 2 enfants dans cette très belle villa, bien équipée (rien ne nous a manqué) et conforme aux photos et à la description.
La proximité de la plage a été appréciée des grands et des petits, qui ont pu profité d'une belle plage de sable et d'une mer très agréable.
Les commerces a 2 pas sont pratiques et les quelques produits locaux comme cadeaux d'arrivée sont une attention fort agréable.
Nous reviendrons très certainement lors de prochaines vacances à Sant Ambroggio.

Une très belle location
Nous avons passé une semaine avec notre fils de 3 ans dans cette villa. La localisation est juste parfaite : la commune est très mignonne, proche des commerces (5 min à pieds), sans nuisances, plage à 2 min à pieds.
Les prestations offertes sont bien celles annoncées (douches à l'italienne, frigo américain, climatisation...), et le cadre est tout simplement idyllique.
Plancha le midi sur la terrasse face à la mer, sieste dans une des chaises longues...
Le + : venir hors saison pour profiter de tout sans le monde des périodes estivales.
Le - : Nous aurions apprécié d'avoir un micro-ondes pour faire réchauffer les repas de notre enfant. On a redécouvert le bain-marie et c'est pas le plus pratique !
