I would say this property has great potential. It’s cute and well located. But it is tired. Things need fixing. Linen is old. Beds uncomfortable.

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine de ski aux Contamines. Temps parfait, plein de neige. L'appartement dans le chalet était à la hauteur de nos attentes. Propre, bien équipé, calme, bien situé un peu à l'extérieur du village et pas loin des remontées mécaniques. L'accueil par Mme Deschamps était parfait.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans un chalet très accueillant, confortable et bien situé. Beaucoup d'activités à proximité. Le chalet est au calme, bien équipé, avec une belle vue sur les montagnes. C'est l'ideal. Un endroit à recommander sans hésiter.

Je recommande ce logement qui est très agréable pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants, bien équipé et bien agencé. Ambiance montagnarde garantie. La terrasse est bien exposée et le jardin est privatif. Le propriétaire est disponible et réactif.

Nous avons eu la chance de passer une très agréable semaine dans un cadre magnifique . Bien que la chambre borgne avait du mal à se rafraîchir( Probablement dû au plancher chauffant de l'étage ainsi qu’au manque de proximité d’une ouverture ), la situation du chalet, l’accueil chaleureux et l’endroit enchanteur ont vite fait de nous faire oublier ce petit désagrément. D’autre part, le fait d’avoir eu à notre disposition un sas d’entée chauffé où nous pouvions laisser nos chaussures et vêtements ainsi qu’une buanderie bien équipée fut d’un réel confort. Je ne saurais trop recommander ce bel appartement pour quatre personnes afin de ne pas occuper la banquette clic clac du salon et obtenir ainsi un confort plus en adéquation avec la qualité de cette excellente prestation au romantisme certain . Nous espérons avoir à nouveau la chance d’y séjourner un jour.

We have visited Les Contas for 11yrs now, and Alain's apartment has been one of the most comfortable, in a great location (we love Le Cugnon), and great value at the price. Alain was a responsive and welcoming host, and Mme Deschamps was an ideal local interface. Merci Alain! On a passe un bon moment...tres agreable.

Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine dans cette location. L'appartement est très fonctionnel pour 2 adultes , 2 deux enfants et est idéalement situé proche du centre des Contamines. La terrasse au sud est très agréable. Nous reviendrons.

Appartement tout confort dans un magnifique chalet. Soigné et propre. Accueil chaleureux, discret et efficace. Dans un petit hameau calme proche du centre avec bonne boulangerie et plusieurs petits commerces. Les Contamines est l'endroit parfait pour les familles qui aiment le calme, les activités pour les enfants et les belles balades. A 30min du Mont-Blanc et de ses ascensions vertigineuses. Vacances trop courtes mais réussies 😃

Très satisfait de cette location . La vallée des Contamines est vraiment très agréable, de plus , toutes les personnes rencontres (service des remontés, commerçants,.....) ont été d’une gentillesse rare en France, avec une mention spéciale à Damien rencontré au pied du « tire fesses » de la piste verte de la ville ( j’ai oublié le nom). Petit appartement fonctionnel en rez-de-jardin d'un grand chalet.

Le logement, conforme au descriptif, est situé dans un très beau cadre, en retrait du village et au calme. Il est doté d'une terrasse bien orientée et d'un jardin privatif dans lequel coule un petit torrent. La vue sur le Mont Joly est superbe. L'accès aux télécabines et aux Contamines est à 10 min à pied. L'entrée chauffée nous a permis d'entreposer notre matériel de ski et de faire sécher nos chaussures. La buanderie, à partager avec l'appartement du dessus, est très pratique. Le coin nuit, dans lequel se trouvent 2 lits superposés et un matelas d'appoint, ne dispose pas de fenêtre mais d'une VMC. Le propriétaire s'est enquis de nos nouvelles 2 fois lors de notre séjour, ce que nous avons bien apprécié.

On a passé des superbes vacances estivales ici. Appartement idéale pour notre famille (parents plus deux enfants: 8 ans et 4ans). Le chalet est bien équipé et tout était propre. La buanderie (avec une machine à laver, et une machine à sécher) est très pratique et en plus nous avions le droit d’y garer nos VTTs en tout sécurité. Merci! Le jardin et sa terrasse sont beau avec des vues magnifiques des montagnes. Parfait pour un peu du badminton et un repas tranquille. Le chalet se situe dans un endroit calme mais on n’est pas loin de tous les loisirs et animations du lac du Pontet, Les Contamines et St Gervais. Idéale! .

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine de ski à Noel, avec un week end radieux au début qui nous a permis de déjeuner et prendre le café sur la terrasse au soleil dans les transats, puis le reste de la semaine de goûter une très bonne neige. L'appartement était tout à fait conforme à ce que nous avions envisagé à un détail près : nous ne savions pas que nous devions partager les lave linge et sèche linge avec la famille locataire du dessus. Il n'y a eu aucun soucis matériel tout était parfait en bon état de marche. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la tranquillité ainsi que le paysage verdoyant. We loved staying in this apartment. It had everything we needed including plenty of hot water for showers and plenty of space to store skis and boots etc. Also the extra mattress in the bunk room meant we didn't have to make use of the sofa bed as all 3 kids could sleep in the bunk room. The kids loved being able to play in the snow in the garden just outside. It was a good 10 minute walk to the main ski lift in Les Lays which was fine. Perhaps the description for this property could have included this information as the apartment was much better than we had imagined from the description. This was a great apartment- thank you!

The property was ideal, well equipped, clan , comfortable and warm. The only downside were the icy very slippery path as acces to the lifts. This was very dangerous especially for geriatrics like us.
