This property was close to shopping, restaurants, and many activities. The house was clean, ready to access upon arrival and Krista was easy to reach out to with any questions. We will definitely be staying again.

We absolutely loved staying at The Hitchcock House! I have three teenagers and we made the trek from Florida to spend the Thanksgiving holiday in Ohio visiting family. The house is beautiful and very spacious and I loved that we weren’t on top of each other in a hotel room. There was more than enough room for the everyone to spread out; it was the perfect landing spot for us. Krista was quick to answer any questions and provided everything you could imagine to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. The kids devoured the welcome basket…thank you Krista! If you have younger kids, the huge back yard would be the perfect place for them to run around and let out their energy. With my older ones, it was hiking in Mill creek park right across the road. The beds were super comfortable and I appreciated the ability to cook “at home” instead of eating out for every meal. And access to a washer/dryer was awesome…especially after hiking! The house is close to just about everything but also offers a peaceful setting with the park across the road. We actually saw some deer in the woods! All in all, I couldn’t recommend a better property to stay at and we’re definitely keeping it at the top of our list for our next visit!

We stayed here while in town for my son’s wedding. I love every bit of this cozy and roomy home in which EVERYTHING has been though of including the welcome snacks! The sweet host checked in with us to see if we needed anything throughout our stay. What a beautiful property and home- especially in autumn! Thank you so very much!

I brought my wife and 2 adult children to the see the area where I grew up. We had a fabulous time and enjoyed the open kitchen area and comfortable family room. House was very clean and Krista was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family truly enjoyed staying at this home over the weekend. Our grandson was in the Ohio elementary wrestling state tournament and this home was the perfect place to enjoy family time and a break from the competition. We are hoping to book it again!

Once again we had a wonderful stay at the Hitchcock House. The house is impeccably clean, well-stocked and comfortable. Krista is a wonderful host and so thoughtful - have I mentioned the welcome basket?? Truly a delightful stay! Thanks once again - we will be back!

The location of this house is great-so many amenities and comfy-truly feels like a home away from home. Kitchen stocked and comfy beds and love the tvs and fans in each bedroom. Great backyard to relax. Kids had a blast in this vacation. Krista was a delight and communicative and we plan to come back whenever we are in the Youngstown area.

Our family attended the Middle School State Wrestling Tournament at the Covelli Center and waited a bit long to book a hotel. WOW! I’m glad we did as this home was available on the VRBO site. Beautiful home in a beautiful setting and all the amenities that you will need. I strongly recommend it !!!

We each had our own room and there was plenty of space to spread out all of our goodies from shopping every day! We were able to have our mother come over for a visit and have dinner together. We found everything that we needed and our host was delightful to deal with. Our visit was for an entire week so it was nice to be able to wash a load of clothes and eat some casual meals at the house. I ran out of time to take a walk in the lovely woods that are across the street with their beautiful fall leaves. It was truly like coming home each day. Cindy, Candace, and Roxanne

Easy check in, the home is clean, comfortable and inviting. Krista pays attention to detail, all you need to do is drop your bags and enjoy. Hot hot water and the shower pressure is amazing! Close to Wineries and Shaker Woods Festival both fantastic. I recommend this home to anyone looking for the comforts of home away from home! Thanks Krista

We had a wonderful stay. We were three moms and teenage daughters plus one younger daughter in the area for a tournament. This home was so roomy that we had plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. Plenty of room in driveway. Wonderful front and back porches and huge back yard. The house was fully stocked with anything we could have needed. Krista was a great host and easy to get a hold of should we need anything. Smooth check-in/check-out. In a quiet area but very close to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, etc… Would definitely stay again.

This was a very clean very comfortable property in a quiet neighborhood that fit our needs perfectly. We were in town for two family events so it was perfect to put the young ones to bed early in a quiet comfy place and wake up and have a relaxed breakfast in a roomy cheerful kitchen before heading out for a busy day. Host was readily available and very accommodating, the home was well stocked and easy to figure out. Would definitely recommend.

This is the first Christmas in 5 years I have been able to get home and spend time with my adult children. So thankful to have found this place to spend Christmas with my family. The master bedroom mattress was so comfortable and we slept great. The kitchen was perfect for making a family dinner and baking and icing Christmas cookies. The kitchen table was the perfect place for a game of dominoes. The family room was cozy for sharing music, laughter. Wonderful memories were made during our visit. Thank you so much! We throughly enjoyed our stay. *side note....thank you for your very quick and kind response to our plumbing issue. Amazing! Hope to stay again next time we visit the kids.
