About this farm stay rental

Mas renovated with care, offering beautiful volumes and a lot of authenticity as well as all the desired comfort for a charming and relaxing holiday. This pretty property offers a warm and quiet interior composed of classic living rooms but also an orangery with a real bar whose large bay windows give you access to the garden/internal courtyard, a TV lounge and a playroom on the mezzanine for small children....
Outside, the orangery garden and, near the swimming pool on the east side, a large lawn area to enjoy the quieter side of the property.
The 5th bedroom is located in an independent part near the swimming pool.
Please note that the Mas is located about 100 meters from the road leading to l'Isle sur la Sorgue bringing a non troublesome murmur.

Overall we had a fairly good time in the property, but some misleading things in the listings should be corrected. The house is very big, and the fact that the owner lives there between rentals means it is very well equipped, and not with the usual cheap Ikea things (beware with small children it also means there are a lot of valuable things at risk of being broken, maybe it would be best to protect some things elsewhere during high season when rented every week) The swimming pool area is very enjoyable. We had very (very) windy days, but the wall meant we could still use it most days. The location is good to visit Luberon (Cavaillon nearby is not really nice, but a lot of villages a bit further are: Lacoste, L'Isle sur la Sorgue, Oppede, Apt...) On the down side as previous reviews said, the noise of the road is present, you sort of get used to it, but it is constant day and night. I guess the owner can't do much about it. 2 misleadings things in the description are however in owner's control: - there are not 5 bedrooms, there are only 4 (the 5th "bedroom" is a pool house fitted with a bay window that drives the temperature up to 40+ degrees when sunny, and requires to walk outside to use toilet facilities in the house in the middle of the night. (It would need air con and toilet to classify as a bedroom). It meant we had to have a child with us in our adult bedroom: not what you want on holidays when you pay the price for a 5 beds house. - the listing says the pool is heated but it is still not. This is misleading and I wonder why after highlighted in previous reviews is has been changed.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison. La piscine et les espaces extérieurs sont très agréables, prise de contact et échanges avec le propriétaire faciles et fluides. Il y a beaucoup de choses à voir et à faire dans le coin. Je recommande vivement cette location!

Nous étions en résidence dans le cadre du festival d'Avignon et avons partagé la maison entre comédiens de la compagnie. Ce lieu a été pour nous un havre de paix et de détente réparateur avant les spectacles. Un lieu très bien équipé et facile à vivre.

Nous avons profité d'un séjour au calme dans une maison spacieuse et agréable. La piscine chauffée est très bien orientée. Le batiment en pierres dégage un charme indéniable. Plusieurs terrasses ombragées ou non. Localisation parfaite aux portes du Lubéron. La proximité de la route ne constitue pas une gêne sonore mais un atout dans les déplacements.

Nous avons adoré la maison, elle est immense! La piscine est très grande, avec des transats et parasols pour se relaxer à l’ombre. Le bruit de la route à proximité ne nous a absolument pas incommodé. Nous avons apprécié l’immense salle de bar, où nous nous réunissions en fin de soirée, pour ne pas être dévoré par les moustiques. La cuisine est bien fournie en ustensiles pour 10 personnes, (2 grands frigos) et la literie était bonne. La table de Ping Pong et le jardin entretenu ont été très appréciés par tous. Avec la canicule, La température a grimpé à 30* dans les chambres, heureusement qu’il y avait les ventileurs. La seule chose qui a été source de déception pour nous, est la « chambre » en bord de piscine. Nous n’avons pas pu y dormir à cause de la chaleur harassante, et des insectes (scorpions/limaces...) et oiseaux qui y venaient régulièrement... Le mur ne va pas jusqu’au toit, de sorte que tout rentrait...De plus, le fait que cette dépendance ne dispose pas de WC est un vrai problème, sortir en pleine nuit, traverser la terrasse pour accéder à la cuisine puis aux toilettes est très pénible... En dehors de ce désagrément, nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances entre amis. Nous recommandons ce mas provençal aux familles, aux groupes d’amis.

We had a great stay. The property is extensive and well fitted out with great facilities throughout (the ice maker was a real bonus!). Thierry was very attentive without being intrusive and responded really quickly to our request for fans in the bedrooms. The pool area was spacious but it was easy to find shade from the midday sun. The large grounds allowed us to play plenty of games. The pool itself is very large albeit unheated; this did not affect our enjoyment of it. Trips to the local towns Cavaillon (more of a working town (but excellent supermarket) and L'Isle sur la Sorgue (prettier) were short car trips and 20 mins on the bike. Fontaine de Vacluse is a nice 30 min cycle and very pretty - easy canoeing (suitable for novices and families) was also close. The property is on a reasonably busy road but the traffic noise was hardly noticeable. All in all we had an excellent time and would go back again. In many respects, the website photos don't really do the property justice - it is better in the flesh!

Our host Thierry was most hospitable. He has created a very beautiful home with excellent modern amenities yet charmingly furnished with many interesting artefacts. This is a great base for exploring the Luberon and the beautiful towns of Gordes and Rousillon. The children loved the house and garden and enjoyed the boules and table tennis. We were disappointed to discover that the outdoor pool was not heated which would not have been an issue if the weather had been fine all week. However the website HomeAway listed the property as having a heated pool which was misleading. Having said that we did get used to the temperature and made the most of it. Merci encore!

Sejour à 9 personnes donc besoin de 5 chambres... nous avons été très déçus par l'une d'entre elles qui n'en est pas vraiment une puisqu'il s'agit d'une sorte de veranda a coté de la piscine, pas du tout isolée ou fermee!! Point negatifs: -Bruit de la route -Piscine froide (non chauffée) -Pas de cloture du terrain -Très peu d'ombre autour de la piscine Point positifs: -Machine à glaçons ++ -Table exterieure couverte (belle terrasse sous abri) -Gros frigos -Linges fournis -Ménage compris dans le prix

La maison et sont espace extérieur sont très agréables à vivre. Tout le matériel dont on a besoin se trouve sur place. Nous conseillons ce lieu pour 8 à 10 personnes sans hésiter .

Equipement très complet ; Bon rapport qualité/prix ; le propriétaire pourrait équiper les portes de SDB et WC de verrous. Route dangereuse lorsque l'on sort de la propriété (bloc miroir à prévoir ?) Hormis ces petits détails, avons passé une excellente semaine. Groupe d'amis du nord de la France.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce mas, qui est non seulement près de Cavaillon mais aussi de L'Isle sur la Sorgue. Nous n'étions pas gênés par la route même si elle n'est pas loin. Thierry nous a donné un accueil chaleureux et tout était très simple et facile de la réservation jusqu'au départ. Bref, on garde un bon souvenir.

la région est très belle et la maison est suffisamment isolé pour être tranquille mais suffisamment proche pour que les courses soient accessibles. Il faut visiter l'isle sur la Sorgue La descente en canoë est très sympathique et sans risque l'accueil du propriétaire est chaleureux et adapté la maison est très propre EN revanche le bruit de la circulation automobile alentours n'est pas négligeable La piscine est vaste ,très bien entretenue Le cadre est très agréable Cette location fait partie des meilleures que j'ai faite

Il ne nous est pas coutume de retourner deux fois au même endroit mais cette maison est si agréable que nous n'avons pas pu y résister. Vaste, accueillant, ... ce mas répond à toutes nos attentes. Cet endroit est à recommander.

Super séjour dans cette magnifique maison

Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve entre amis (8 adultes) dans cette maison très spacieuse et confortable. Les différentes terrasses et espaces verts permettent de profiter du soleil toute la journée. Nous avons utilisé le barbecue tous les soirs (du bois était mis à disposition !) et que dire de la piscine : chauffée, grande et très agréable ! Bref, nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette magnifique maison très bien située (proche de l'Isle sur Sorgue, Gordes, Avignon, ...). Merci à Thierry pour son accueil et sa gentillesse :-)
