Un moment inoubliable familial et dans un cadre typique

Je tiens tout d’abord à remercier Madame LAPEYRE, pour son accueil, sa prévenance et son authenticité. Le lieu est remarquable. Domaine éloigné mais pas de trop. Cette grande bâtisse est une demeure authentique avec une histoire. Les soirées dîners en extérieur nous ont remplis de beaux souvenirs. Nous avons trouvé ce que nous cherchions.. repos, et convivialité avec les concerts quotidiens des cigales. Merci encore.

Très beau domaine

Pour une réunion familiale de 16 personnes nous avons passé un excellent week-end de pentecôte. Beau parc. Piscine agréable. Grandes chambres. Prix raisonnable compte tenu des draps, linge de toilette fournis et ménage compris. Les heures de départ et arrivée accordées par Mme Lapeyre sont très arrangeantes. Points négatifs. Manque de place pour dîner à l'intérieur et on avait pas commandé les moustiques.

We had a lovely stay in Villeneuve-les-Maguelone this summer, five families consisting of 10 adults and 10 children from age 4 - 12. Outside there was a lovely pool and a large shaded area perfect for BBQs and long leisurely lunches when the weather was hot. Inside the rooms were large and spacious, some are more up to date than others and netting over the windows on the top floor would be beneficial so you can leave the windows open at night without mosquitoes coming in. Overall we had a wonderful holiday, there is lots nearby to explore (loved Sete) and we loved the pool and the space. Thanks Christine!

M'étant rendu cet été au domaine de saint baudile pour une réception j'ai trouvé ce lieu magnifique .Imaginez vous un cadre magique verdoyant où trône un manoir au toit couronne d'ardoises aux pierres finement ciselées qui sert de lieu de réception et laisse entrevoir la nuit ses lustres aux papilles étincelantes . Le parc et la piscine entourent la maison et rendent ce lieu digne d'un conte de fée un lieu où pour un soir vous deviendrez les rois et les reines d'un domaine enchanté .

Si je devais résumer notre appréciation sur ce lieu d'exception, ce serait tout simplement, splendide. Le domaine a une âme et est chargé d'histoire. La bâtisse est magnifique. Madame Lapeyre nous a laissé nous installer la veille de l'événement. Nous avons pu faire ce que nous souhaitions. Elle a été très flexible sur nos demandes et a une grande notion du mot 'service'. Madame Lapeyre a participé à la réussite de notre événement et nous savons comment la remercier. Nous recommandons très fortement ce domaine d'excellence ! Encore merci !

Nous avons célébré notre mariage au Domaine Saint-Baudile, charmés lors de notre visite en décembre 2015. Ce petit paradis hors du temps vous propose un espace piscine, un espace ombragé pour mettre des tables, un coin danse devant le Manoir, une roseraie où se promener et bien sûr le Manoir, imposant, qui nous fait voyager dans le temps. Il faut savoir apprécier le cachet de l'endroit pour y passer un bon séjour. Bien sûr, le lieu n'a rien à voir avec nos maisons modernes et c'est bien ce qu'on vient y chercher. Rien à dire niveau ménage, tout était très propre. L'extérieur est sec avec des terrains plats pour jouer à la pétanque ou au Molky. La propriétaire vit dans une dépendance et sait rester discrète tout en restant accessible. L'équipe travaillant au Manoir est chaleureuse. Nous ne regrettons pas notre choix : célébrer le mariage et rester quelques jours. Tous nos invités ont apprécié.

We had a full house of 22 persons and the property suited our needs very well. The large number of bedrooms gave us the flexibility to place family members together and give couples their own room.The kitchen was large and well enough equipped.The gardens were ideal for an outdoor party during our stay and had enough tables and chairs to cater for 30 people and lit at night. I imagine that arrangements would need to be made to cater for larger events.The pool area was very suitable and serviced daily. However there was only a few sun loungers and could be improved with another 6-8 loungers.Having three bathrooms was convenient but showers over the bath and no way to prevent splashes meant swampy floors. Also although linen was supplied there was only 12 towels to be found in the house. We recommend arranging towels in advance or bringing your own.Our website booking said we could arrive at 4 pm and leave at 11am, however we were instructed locally that access was at 5pm and had to be out at 10am. In actuality it is only a 6.5 day rental and the first day is only an evening.Overall we were very pleased with our stay. The house is not luxurious but quite grand. Tired in places but forgivable.The weekly rental is fair. Having rented something similar in Provence, the per person cost is comparable and this property is larger overall. The location is ideal to visit the beaches and sea ports with good access from Monpellier Airport and train station.

The house was dirty, broken screens in Windows, no screens on the top floor, no windows in one bedroom, broken floor tiles, dead shrubs, bats in the house, small kitchen with only 6 chairs and disgusting bathrooms where the 1 shower leaked all over the floor and the upstairs bathroom smelled like sewer. The grounds were dirt with no grass. The pool was nice but had dirty outside tables and broken. And to top it off the house is located down the road from a prison. Would not recommend this house. Not good for older people as the steps outside are all uneven and cracked. Very disappointed.

We had our bi-annual family (12adult + 6 children) holiday at Christine's Domaine Saint Baudile , 06 - 13 August 2016. we had a great time, the garden and pool are amazing and children loved it. the house and facilities are clean and comfortable, also the BBQ and the al fresco dining. somehow everyone found it better than the listing. the super market very close also the beach at Pilou. we didnt try the local restaurant but the pizza take away was tastey, Christine very charming and helpful....thank you! we hope to come back. Belle demeure de charme, nous avons eu la chance d'avoir la réfection d'un mur de pierre apparentes réalisé avant notre arrivée. Cela renforce encore le caractère de cette propriété. Un très bon accueil, nous avons pu trouver des solutions pour la pluie avec la propriétaire. Nombre d'enfants ont évolués dans le parc pendant la fête en toute sécurité. Equipement simple et efficace nous avons réalisé un grand barbecue mémorable. Encore merci pour tout, nous reviendrons.

Un séjour inoubliable - A découvrir absolument!

Christine la maîtresse du Domaine de Saint Baudile vous accueille avec le coeur chaleureux. Elle est un rayon de soleil. Le Domaine est une escale lointaine, en dehors du temps. Il vous projette au coeur du 19ème siècle, époque si particulière où l'art de vivre avait un goût de miel et d'amande. Que de quiétude dans ce foyer familial où l'on se trouve chez soi en toute simplicité. En un instant nous voici en promenade au sein de la roseraie dominée par le roi Grenouille... Les pièces du manoir sont décorées avec soin, aucune faute de goût. Même avec le froid régnant ce week-end là, nous avons été chaudement réconfortés et la literie était tout simplement parfaite. Christine vous met à disposition une cuisine fraîchement rénovée aux couleurs du sud. Un vrai cocon!!!!!! L'équipe du Domaine est souriante, attentionnée et disponible. Enfin, nous avons inauguré le chai en fin de rénovation pour la soirée de notre mariage. Quel cachet! Tous nos invités se sont sentis transportés par cet espace chargé d'histoires familiales. Un bel espace où nous avons pu recevoir une centaine d'invités sans encombre. Mention spéciale pour le coin détente ainsi que les gigantesques fûts. Le traiteur en est à son second mariage et se régale toujours autant m'a-t-il dit. C'est bien simple, je fête mes 40 ans au Domaine de Saint Baudile en 2017! ...ce qui vous laisse une petite marge pour venir le découvrir à votre tour.

Mariage très apprécié par toutes les convives et les mariés ! Superbes lieux, reposants, marqués d'histoire viticole, pins gigantesques, impressionnants et superbes vues sur l'estagnole à partir des étages du manoir. Cave formant une salle un peu trop en longueur mais conviviale. Les foudres sont magnifiques et donnent une ambiance très chaleureuse. Les sols, les portails seraient à entretenir, pour être plus fonctionnels, mais c'est très beau et il faut aussi préserver le caractère brut et le patrimoine des lieux ! Séjour magique et souvenirs conviviaux : Vivement le prochain événement !

Une grande déception. Assurez-vous que le contrat mentionne bien toutes les promesses de cette propriétaire. Nous avons reçu les clés avec 6h de retard, c'est long pour des personnes ayant passés la nuit à conduire. Les lieux sont mal entretenus, vitre cassé, moustiquaires éventrés, poubelles cassés ou inexistantes, salle de bain sans verrou, robinetteries capricieuses, pulvérisation d'insecticide à 30m des invités (et enfant) en train de souper... Peu professionnel et mal entretenu. L'extérieur est heureusement assez agréable même si on se serait bien passé de la visite des chiens de la proprio où de son linge en train de sécher dans la cour. Après le séjour passé dans cet endroit, j'ai du mal à croire aux autres commentaires positifs.

Nous sommes les plus heureux d'avoir pu passer le plus beau jour de notre vie au Domaine Saint-Baudile. Il est difficile de faire la liste exhaustive des qualités de cet endroit : une maison magique avec une âme et un charme incroyable, un parc aux pins centenaires et aux roses délicates, un barbecue gigantesque pour rassasier tous nos invités, une cave enchanteresse. Mais tout ça ne serait finalement pas grand chose sans l'amabilité, la disponibilité et la bonne humeur de Mme Lapeyre qui a su nous soutenir face à la météo ! Nous espérons revenir, en d'autres circonstances, profiter de ce lieu magique avec ceux qui nous sont chers. Merci de tout coeur et à très vite pour cette petite bière et bretzels au beurre ! Alles Gutes und bis bald !

A Canadian Wedding at the Mansion

Myself and my husband were married at the Domain this past May. I have only great things to say about our stay and about Christine, the owner. As we were coming all the way from Canada, I was a little worried because I only had the photographs to go from. But the mansion was perfect, and our wedding was fantastic! We had a hard time leaving when our week was finished! The estate is situated in a very tranquil area, surrounded by vineyards, grassland and park. There is a major road not too far, but we could barely hear it. It was such a relaxing stay, we spent many afternoons lounging at the pool. I would recommend renting a car or bicycles, as it is just a little too far to walk from the beaches. The house itself is very grand with huge 15 foot ceilings, a spiral staircase and 3 floors. There are only 3 toilets, but we had 15 guests stay and never had a problem with wait times as the showers and sinks are separate. Christine the owner is amazing, any issues we had (which were very few) she made sure to fix them right away. She even got my husband allergy medicine from the shop when his allergies got really bad! She gave me great suggestions for caterers, photographers and florists to use for my wedding, all of whom were a pleasure to work with. She was always friendly and ready to help. There is also a gardener who comes everyday to work in the garden and clean the pool. Overall we had a fantastic stay at the Domain, and a very beautiful wedding! Thank you Christine for all your help!
