About this farm stay rental

The chalet is located in a quiet and pleasant area, 400 m from the center of the village and the train station, 800 m from the cable car, very easy access whatever the weather (motorway, train station, bus stop nearby, free shuttle) and close to all amenities (large area to 400 m).

Large apartment of 170 m², with a large terrace (20 m²), a balcony and a garden, located in a recently renovated traditional farm. Space and volume.

Linen rental and concierge services possible.

It is a large living area with an imposing central fireplace, 2 lounges, one with a 12-seat corner sofa (117 cm LCD TV, Blu-Ray DVD, home theater, Wifi) (table 10-12 persons), separated by a bar with a very well equipped kitchen (plate 4 gas rings, microwave, dishwasher, oven, large fridge, kitchen utensil, grill, kettle, to melted, coffee maker). 1 bathroom (big bathtub of 200, washbasin) and a room of water (shower, washbowl), 2 TOILETS (one per floor), ski room, buanderie with lava linen and freezer, boiler room.

Upstairs there are sleeps: 4 double beds, 2 single beds, 1 bed umbrella. The 4 bedrooms are located close to the bathroom. There are 5 bedrooms with double bed of 200 by 140, and 2 single beds of 190 by 90 in a room under the slope (ideal for children). The quality bedding is recent.

The renovation carried out by a company in the valley combines old wood, windfall, granite and trowel.

SKI: LES HOUCHES: The Les Houches ski area extends from 950 to 1900 m altitude. An exceptional panorama of 360 ° on the Mont Blanc massif is offered from its summit: 65 km of trails in the forest allow you to discover all the pleasures of skiing: alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, surfing, telemark, freestyle, to the best skiers on the planet who come during the World Cup on the mythical Green Houches. 23 hectares are artificially snowed thanks to 127 snow canons spread over the area. La Verte des Houches is, along with the Oreiller-Killy trail in Val d'Isère, one of the two World Cup downhill slopes in France. It is considered by the best descenders as one of the most beautiful.

GOLF: Situated between the Mont Blanc massif and the Aiguilles Rouges, at the foot of the famous Drus, the Chamonix golf course bears the prestigious signature of Robert Trent Jones Senior. This is a Par 72, 6076m / 6644y. The driving range consists of 24 seats including 6 seats, a putting green and a pitching green.

We had a lovely stay at this chalet, which is in a great location for the bus, supermarket, restaurants and the Touchet nursery slope - all within easy walking distance. The living area is really spacious with plenty of room for two families.

Fantastic Chalet which was more than enough room for 7 adults and 2 kids to live together comfortably. The 4 double rooms are great, with the kids room a low ceiling eaves room, but ideal for little ones. The living space is open with plenty of comfortable seating, with the kitchen being well equipped and perfect for family cooking. Elisa our concierge was excellent and communication with her and also the owner were perfect. We arrived an hour early and had to leave an hour later due to issues with our transfer but neither was a problem and Elisa was happy to accommodate us. Location was great - really short walk to shops and centre of Les Houches and a 5 minute bus ride to Prarion cable car All of us loved our stay and are already planning a return visit - 5*

We had great stay at this spacious chalet! The kitchen/dining and lounge are grand! The bedrooms are a bit small but everything has character and 2 bathrooms was more than enough to accommodate 10 people.

The spacious living quarters were marvellous for our party of eight - we alternated between using the large sitting area and the smaller one near the fire. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, even for a larger group, including Raclette and Fondue. The location is perfect - a bus stop around the corner that takes one into Chamonix, and the train station is just a short walk away. There are all amenities in Les Houches, including supermarkets, restaurants (we recommend Les Delices), and a skating rink. Despite being close to the road, it was quiet and peaceful in the chalet. The bathrooms and bedrooms are on the smaller size, but since the main attraction is the ground floor, and it's very spacious, that didn't bother us. We enjoyed gathering around the open fire in the centre of the chalet, toasting marshmallows and chatting. The only tiny niggle is the description of the bedrooms - two of the bedrooms are connecting rooms, i.e., one is reached by going through the other, and the bedroom on the stairs is really only suitable for children as it is under the eaves of the roof and has to be almost crawled into (though our 18-yr old son loved it). The owner Philippe was helpful and responsive to any queries, and checking in and out with his friendly local representative was quick and easy.

Grand logement dans un chalet typique partagé avec la famille du propriétaire qui habite au rez-de-chaussée. Très belle pièce de vie (conforme aux photos du site). Les chambres sont sous toiture et donc pour certaines très mansardées. Parking privatif pour une seule voiture seulement. Chalet bien équipé. Très bonne literie. Le linge de maison compris est effectivement de très bonne qualité. Très appréciable. Enfin, un très bon accueil de la gérante des lieux qui reste très disponible si nécessaire.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine de vacances dans ce magnifique chalet. Nous étions 10 et chacun a pu trouver son espace car la pièce principale est vraiment très spacieuse et en plus de qualité.

Joli chalet typique, propre, spacieux, bonne situation. 2 salles d'eau c'est peut être un peu juste pour 10 personnes, il fait être bien organisés, surtout que la douche du haut contient le second WC. Attention à votre tête, la plupart des chambres sont très basses. Un essui de bain par personne pour 1 semaine, c'est également un peu juste (nous disposons également d'un second petit essui).

Voici un chalet très très bien équipé, il ne manquait rien. Nous étions 10 dont un bébé, chacun avait sa place. La pièce de séjour est magnifique. Les chambres sont correctes même si par moments il nous a manqué quelques centimètres en hauteur.

Great chalet though the description of five bedrooms is somewhat misleading. One bedroom is entered through another (and there are no curtains or blind) and the bedroom described as for children has minimal headroom. However, the downstairs living space is fantastic. Kitchen is well equipped. Close to bus stop and railway station and a short walk to supermarkets and restaurants.

This is a perfect chalet for enjoying the Mont Blanc/Chamonix region. Nicely decorated, it presents even nicer in person than in the pictures. It was very comfortable for 2 families, with 2 bathrooms, large dining table, and comfortable living room. Although we did not use it much, it has a wonderful balcony that looks up at Mont Blanc. The bus stops close by and shops and restaurants of Les Houches are walking distance. You simply can't go wrong with this chalet.

Nous avons passé une semaine inoubliable dans ce chalet avec vue sur les montagnes de partout, même des chambres. Panorama inoubliable!! nous étions 9 et jamais nous n'avons eu l'impression d'être "entassés". la pièce à vivre est très grande et confortable , la cheminée fonctionne bien, la cuisine bien équipée permet de préparer à la maison les spécialités locales incontournables telles que fondue et raclette (restaurants à proximité pour ceux qui préfèrent) les chambres sont agréables avec une bonne literie. la terrasse particulièrement enneigée lors de notre séjour a permis à ma petite fille de 3 ans de faire, en toute sécurité, tous les bonhommes de neige dont elle rêvait. les navettes à disposition dans la ville permettent de se déplacer facilement, ravitaillement à pied sans problème dans les superettes du coin. Bref, j'y retourne à la première occasion! Merci pour tout.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le chalet est superbe avec une belle vue, il est bien décoré et très bien équipé. La pièce à vivre est très agréable de par sa grandeur et les coins salons qui permettent le calme à chacun. La literie est très confortable. Nous avons apprécié les flambées au cours de nos soirées. Nous n'avons manqué de rien et avons été très bien accueilli par le gardien. Pas besoin de la voiture, une navette passe tout près du chalet. Adresse à retenir !!!

Calme, spacieux et très bien équipé, avec une vue magnifique sur l'envers des aiguilles. Le chalet est facile d'accès, et les téléphériques pour l'aiguille du midi et le brévent sont à moins de dix minutes. Et pas besoin de la voiture pour faire les courses !
