HOW TO BENEFIT AT BEST YOUR HOLIDAYS at the MAS de la LAITERIE?
IN THE GARDEN....
Life is enjoyable around the very big swimming pool.
8 deckchairs are available to sunbathe or read in the shade of Provençal trees
An outside shower with warm water available to refresh and to take advantage of the sun longer.
The garden offers quite a lot of hidden recesses to isolate.
It is also possible to hang on a hammock to take advantage of shades below two accacias.
The swimming pool is accessible by a very wide 6 meter staircase which allows the young children to play under the glance of their parents. On some meters the water is little deep for beautiful balloon parties and the swimming pool long enough(13 m) to swim.

WHAT VISITING AROUND?
The Mas de la Laiterie is ideally located 10km from the Luberon National Park in the quaint village of Pernes les Fontaines, just 20 km away from Avignon historical town and theater festival, 50 km from stylish Aix en Provence, Cezanne s hometown, and one hour away from Marseille. Within a radius of 20 km, you will find l'Isle sur la Sorgue with its antiques market, Gordes and its traditional stone houses, Fontaine de Vaucluse and the Mount Ventoux famously called the giant of Provence. Nice and calm property close to down town Pernes. Beautiful garden and nicely furnished. If there is a small point to be may improved for shorter nights - more and brighter lights e.g in bathrooms in addition to beautiful ambient light concept

We loved our stay at the Mas, which is located on a beautiful property and convenient to many of the markets of Provence. The interior of the Mas was very roomy with high ceilings, rock walls and wood ceiling beams. Joel was a charming host and quickly responded to any requests or questions that we had. The house is walking distance to a picturesque village known for its fountains, with several patisseries and restaurants (our favorite was Cote Jardin). The house has 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and the cottage is a bedroom with a connecting bathroom. The patio was a great place to relax -- we loved the colorful sunsets in the evenings, and hearing the horses in the adjoining farm, as well as the village bells. It was a perfect base for exploring, and my three sisters & I all had a wonderful stay -- thanks Joel!

This home is well located in the lovely village of Pernes les Fontaine as noted in other reviews. Although there are houses close by, the beautiful gardens give the property a secluded feel. The house is charming and the host friendly and accommodating. The only negative is the indoor furniture. The sofas and chair in the great room are very worn and uncomfortable, with springs literally poking out of the chair arms and really should be replaced. There were a few other maintenance issues like burned out light bulbs, clogged drain, and leaky faucet that should have been attended to before guests arrived but otherwise a good place to vacation

Pernes oasis
The rental went smoothly in every way. The property was delightful and just as advertised. We could easily walk to a bakery to get fresh croissants each morning and eat outside on the lovely terrasse. It was easy to get to all the villages in Provence which we had hoped to visit. The experience was a 10. The only difficult thing was finding the house at first as there is no number posted by the driveway on the narrow road. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Rustic Provence at its best
A charming and spacious home, plenty of room for seven adults. Within 5 minutes walk of the centre of Pernes-les-Fontaines, a lovely but not over-touristy small town. Boulangerie, boucherie and take away pizza all 5 mins away on foot , for the morning pain au chocolat and supermarket 5 mins by car. The house is within the town area, but very quiet, in mature gardens and with a large terrace for eating out. Also a big table in the main room for when the mistral blows.
The pool is a decent side for cooling off and the gardens very pleasant for sitting in (but use mossie deterrent) . The owner lives next door and is very pleasant, but not obtrusive.

Very nice
This is a very nice property in a lovely setting. It feels peaceful and secluded, while being within easy walking distance of the charming town.
Excellent swimming pool and lovely grounds with plenty of shade from mature trees. One of the bedrooms does not have air conditioning, but that was not a problem - the room stays naturally cool and was fine for sleeping, even with outside temperatures of 35 degrees.
The owner was very helpful and responsive to all our questions.
The only area for improvement is that some of the furnishings could do with updating, but overall, I would have no hesitation in recommending this property for anyone looking for a relaxing family holiday in the heart of Provence.

We we had a wonderful relaxing stay, notwithstanding the hottest weather ever.

Perfect!
What a delightful surprise - perfect home in perfect location, making a perfect holiday break.
This property is better than you could imagine! The photos don’t do it justice - the garden & pool are truly a beautiful oasis - just perfect!
Pernes is beautiful & a wonderful location - sit & relax, wonder the streets, check out the markets & discover the local traders - while also the perfect location to explore many & varied villages & towns around Provence.
Hosts (& neighbours) are all wonderful - this really felt like a home away from home.
I want to give this property high praise - yet also want to keep it a secret so that we can stay again!

Wundervoller Ferienaufenthalt!

Beautiful, relaxing, home base for visit to Provence.
We actually stayed at this property for almost two weeks in July 2014 for my 50th birthday (the calendar above doesn't go to 2014). It was absolutely perfect. The house itself is centrally located, and we could easily drive to all the attractions in, or near Provence, including Aix-en-Provence and Avignon. It was great having a guest house because I had several family members come for the celebration. The pool was wonderful to come home to after a day of sightseeing, and we had several dinners outside on the patio. The owners were extremely lovely to speak with, helpful and available.
I hope one day we get to return!

Beautiful family get-away
This is a special place. You wouldnt think it was a rental, because both inside and outside, everything is aesthetic. No plastic or cheap solutions. It was an absolute joy for eyes and soul to stay there and we will be happy to come back.

Ideal Serenity
Our family came to stay at this beautiful home for the week of our daughters wedding. We truly enjoyed this calm and serene refuge as we prepared for our wonderful event. Our host, Joel was very warm, helpful, friendly and accommodating. The house, terrace, gardens and pool are so private and well maintained. The furnishings are beautiful, interesting, comfortable and well suited to the home. The beds and linens are comfortable and of good quality. We had eight adults in our party and everyone was accommodated quite comfortably.Restaurants, bakery and apothecary as well as the village are all within easy walking distance and yet the feel of the property is so private and secluded. Our only regret is that we didn't book a second week after the wedding to unwind and relax! But we've promise to return again. Thank you, Joel!

Perfect spot for a Provence getaway
We were looking for a place to get away--a place where we could hide our cell phones and take the days one at a time, without deadlines or solid plans. Mas de la Laiterie was the perfect spot for us. Our family of 3 visited for 3 whole weeks, and found the location perfect. Each day, we consulted the guides and market calendars available at the house to decide what we'd do. We took a lot of day trips--to nearby Isle sur la Sorgue, a bit farther afield to places like Vaison la Romaine and Fontaine de Vaucluse, and farther still, to Cassis, where we could swim in the Mediterranean after lunch and be home in time to make dinner. During the days we spent in Pernes les Fontaines, we borrowed the house's cruiser bikes to pedal the town and its surroundings, stopping for lunch at Cafe de la Place often enough to make it feel like it was ours. We ran along the path next to the canal, stopping at the old boulangerie within the town walls on our way home. We also rented serious road bikes to climb nearby Mont Ventoux, and found our way to a few olive oil producers. I don't think we realized when we signed the rental agreement how perfectly located the house is, but I can't help but feel lucky we found it.
The house itself is dreamy. With a main bedroom downstairs with the living room, two rooms upstairs, and a separate double in a pool house, it's a great place to invite guests. We had a rotating circus of visitors, all friends and family, and it worked out perfectly well to have people of different ages and interests. There was enough parking space for 3 cars, also, which I imagine is rare in the area.
The owners were also quite responsive, providing firewood when we decided to use it on cold nights, adjusting the heat as necessary (we were there just as fall settled in) and offering great tips for eating and traveling. We also traveled with our 4-year-old, and they were extremely responsible about his safety with regards to the pool.
Go. Drink wine. Just plan a few days extra at home to come back to reality, because it hurts.

A place to return to
This beautiful property combines the peace of the country with the facilities of the village. You could be in the middle of nowhere, so private and peaceful is it, yet you are within a few minutes walk of the heart of the village and its shops, bars, restaurants and Saturday morning market. Pernes is also central for many interesting places to visit.
The house has been restored with great care and style. It is comfortable, spacious, light, well equipped and well furnished. The garden is private and interesting with many mature trees and hidden places to read a book quietly in the shade (or in full sun).
The owner is very helpful; when we said we would be arriving late on a Sunday evening he booked a local restaurant on our behalf. It was superb.
Highlights of our holiday: picking figs for breakfast from the beautiful tree in the garden, sipping wine on the terrace in the sunset, cooling off in the pool.
