Me and my 6 friends stayed at Happy Days and it was everything that I could have asked for. The house was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook all the meals we wanted at home. The location was also incredible- easy walking distance to Johnson Beach, Guerneville taco truck, and some fun downtown bars. Upon checkout, the trashcan out front was full. I emailed our host and quickly received a response plus she called to confirm that the handman was on the way. I appreciated the attentiveness. Overall, it was a great stay and I would recommend it.

We stayed five days in this lovely, comfortable house in the downtown area. It was quiet but close to everything, with a quick walk to the stores and beach. The house is very well set up, with two bedrooms and a bath up a couple of stairs from the main living area, which has high ceilings and a fireplace and lots of space to lounge. Kitchen was large and airy with plenty of seating for eight of us. Downstairs was a separate bedroom with room for five and another bath. And a game room where we tried to beat each other at ping pong! It was a great space and we definitely recommend it to a large family or group of friends.

Our group of 3 triathletes stayed here during a Guerneville-based race. The place is clean, comfortable, and well-located close to Johnson's Beach. The upstairs has a beautiful kitchen and comfortable living room. Linens and toiletries were copious and clean. The backyard was wonderful with lots of great furniture and nice lighting. The downstairs is somewhat "rustic" compared to the upstairs, with less than a full kitchen and no living room and a somewhat awkward way to access it; the downstairs bathroom had a bit of an odor issue. A garage door opener would have been nice for carrying things into the downstairs unit and also providing another parking spot. Street parking was a bit tight but manageable. All in all accurately represented on the website and a great place to stay in Guerneville.

The location is fantastic! Walkable to shops, tasting rooms, river and restaurants. Short drive Armstrong Nature Preserve, wineries and more restaurants. The house has a very pleasant outdoor area to hang out.

We had a great stay at Stacy’s place. The house had everything we needed, was right in town, and had ping pong and darts to boot! We’d come back again for sure.

My partner and our friends stayed at this house for pride weekend. The location was absolutely perfect. We were able to walk everywhere. Loved the back yard and front porch. We were very comfortable.

Spacious and clean except for the outdoor area…furniture too dusty to use and didn’t feel like cleaning it. Needs a new shower head in the master bath. But we had plenty of space, made some good meals and toured around the area. Nice ambience. Appreciated the games and jigsaw puzzles.

It’s perfectly fine but not quite as good as advertised.
The property was instant-booked through Vrbo but then a third-party property management service (who was not the person I booked with in the app) withheld checkin information until I signed a third-party agreement outside Vrbo. SKETCHY. And when I called them out on this, they insisted they’ve done this for over 20 years and no one else had a problem with it, implying I shouldn’t either. Even sketchier.
There’s lots of cute rustic-chic parts of the property, like string lights in the backyard, artwork in the dining room, and backyard seating gathered around an upturned barrel coffee table.
But these details don’t cover up the larger problems with the property. For example, the property listing says it has AC but it only has one or two window AC units and a bunch of fans—that’s not the same thing. Additionally, the downstairs bedroom has three beds but no bedside tables and the downstairs bathroom has a full shower but no space for shower toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc).

This house was well laid out and comfortable for our family. We really enjoyed the corn hole game and ping pong at the lower level.
Loved being able to walk downtown Guerneville and enjoy all the shops and restaurants.
No problem with parking...we were able to fit 2 cars in the garage and one in the driveway.

The house was clean and had a games room downstairs plus a bedroom where the kids slept. It was clean and well equipped in the kitchen. Very walkable to get coffee, browse the bookshops or grab groceries and close to the river and redwood hikes.

Our family was here for a wedding and we split the area upstairs with the area downstairs between the two families. It would have been nice to use the garage space to go in and out of the second area as we did have to grab house shoes/slippers to keep going up and down the stairs in the back to leave through the main front door. We did know this going into the property, however we did not think it through with children.
The host was EXCELLENT in communication both before, during, and after the stay. We came right after the weeks of rainstorms in the area, so they kept in contact in case the property had any issues.
The cleanliness on the main area was excellent upon our arrival. We did have some small concerns downstairs, however the host explained it was a result of moving furniture from the storm and from the increased rain. They addressed the concern immediately with an additional cleaning, complimentary treats, and a day discount due to the inconvenience.
The three bathrooms were great for getting ready during wedding weekend with children… and the laundry is always a plus! Our little ones also enjoyed the ping pong table and popcorn!
Overall we had a great time.

Lovely property, very close to state regional park, only a 4 minute drive. Property had broken dishwasher upon arrival which was a bit of a bummer as it was Christmas and the part clearly needed replacement but had been taped as a temporary fix. Also very close to neighbors who were partying until 2-3am which woke up the kids. Otherwise lovely place and very close to things in town. Game room had a fun popcorn making station which kids loved. Games in home were fun too.

We had a great stay celebrating my daughter's 16th. The set up was perfect for her and her friends. The kids could hang out downstairs and I had the rest of the house to myself most of the time. It was a great location for them to be able to walk everywhere they wanted to go. The only thing I wish is that it had a fridge downstairs, and since there's a milkshake machine, an ice cream scoop would be nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place to stay in Guerneville
The location was perfect to allow my family to explore or do their own thing, window shop, grocery store, go for coffee, walk to dinner! I love the ping pong table and the outdoor area. We played corn hole every day we were there. The house was well appointed and clean. And we were able to paddle the Russian River as well as do a few wine tastings. Thank you for sharing your home!

Good location close to beach and downtown
We enjoyed the play room with ping pong table, main house nice and comfy. Only thing to note is the play room downstairs is not attached to main house. Walkable to all that you want and also very close to Armstrong redwood Forest for great hikes!

Great property and location is close to everything. Kitchen needs pot holders for those that actually cook it’s a necessity. Detergent for the washer should be nice as well. Neighborhood is across from a bar/motel and can have some late night/early morning noise on the street. Overall a great weekend and home!

Fun place downtown
We had a great time at this property. It was walking distance to all the shops and restaurants downtown, and also to Johnson’s beach which was great with kids. The only downside of the property was that the downstairs area was extremely creaky whenever people were walking upstairs, which made sleeping with the kids a bit challenging. Property management was very responsive and helped us out with an issue that arose during our stay. Property was well maintained with all the necessary amenities, and the cornhole and ping-pong table was a plus. fun times!

We had a great stay at Happy Days! Perfect location for summer and so close to a lot of amenities. My only complaint is the parking. The street was really crowded. Even with that we would stay again.

Great location
We recently stayed for about a week and really enjoyed calling this our home away from home. 2 short blocks from the main road with restaurant, shops and bars. The outdoor backyard was nice to sit in the afternoon. Overall, great, comfy place to stay and relax among the redwoods and river!

Best Time Ever!
We were so happy to find this gem for a friend gathering and special event in Guerneville. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The living room was a great gathering space, as was the front porch, backyard and downstairs game room!
The home felt spacious and the multiple bathrooms were a plus. The beds were comfortable and fans in each room definitely helped to cool off during the day.
The location is ideal. Walking distancing to everything including all of our favorite coffee shops and restaurants.
Stacey was a great host and I especially appreciated that the property management went out of their way to drop by a goodie bag of dog treats! I would highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning.

The house was spotless and the description on VRBO was accurate. This house is a very short walk to downtown and only 2 minutes from a great coffee shop and book store.
The beds are comfortable, the towels are large, soft and plentiful.
We were 4 adults in the area to attend a family wedding. We especially enjoyed the upper porch/deck in the back because there were both sunny and shady spots to sit.
The living room and dining area had plenty of space for us and when we had two additional visitors.

The pictures definitely match the house. It's nice and the wall heaters do a good job to keep the house warm (it was chilly out when we were there). We ran out of garbage bags and one phone call to the Property Manger had someone at our door with garbage bags in less than an hour. That was GREAT customer service! Overall a good house and comfortable stay! But here's what they don't tell you or at least what I missed... the downstairs bedroom and game room (1 bedroom with 2 queens and 1 twin) is not connected inside the house. The stairs to go down are outside from the backdoor off the kitchen. This was inconvenient with young kids at night going to bed. Also, a parent had to sleep downstairs with the kids so we were separated. It also made mornings difficult because we were given one set of keys for the front door and for the doors downstairs but the upstairs back door does not use the same key. So locking up at night means people upstairs lock door behind the folks heading downstairs and the downstairs folks have no way back in, unless we go through the side gate (which was hard to keep shut...they need a gate repair there) to get to the front yard and then go up to the front door. Or we had to call cell phones and wake people up so that they could let us in, in the morning. Luckily there is a bathroom and small kitchen downstairs so you're fully functional down there but it's annoying. Either connect the upstairs and downstairs using the extra space in the garage and enclose part of the back deck, or get matching keys & locks for all the doors! Also you have to climb a full flight of stairs to get to the front door. Yes carrying all your luggage and food and anything else you brought with you. So if you have bad knees or any other physical disability this might not be the house for you!

The rental is in a great location, walking distance to great restaurants and bars. Owner was very easy to communicate with and house was well kept. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely consider staying here again.
