Completely renovated & tastefully decorated top floor waterfront condo overlooking Smith Mountain Lake in Stripers Landing Community in Moneta, Virginia. Amenities include Junior Olympic Pool, Kitty Pool, Boat Launch (boat slip not available for use), Gated Boat Storage, Covered Picnic Area with grills, Free Wifi thru HOA, Basketball & Tennis Courts. Convenient to Westlake and Halesford Bridge shopping/dining plus less than a 5 minute drive for quick groceries , gas & Smith Mountain Lake State Park (beaches). This unit offers a NEW Queen Size Bed (sleeps 2) and pull-out sofa (sleeps 2), kitchen (no oven/cooktop but has microwave & air fryer plus grills outside), new wall mounted TV with cable, dining table with 4 chairs plus your own private patio to enjoy the lake view. Unit was renovated in October 2017 with a new tile shower, flooring, paint, countertops, toilet, etc. New Heat Pump (Heating & A/C installed in August 2018). New blinds installed April 2021! This is a studio style condo, open floor plan (392 sq ft) . Top Floor condo, no elevator so there will be steps. **Pool closed until Memorial Day weekend 2024.

I love going to SML and was fortunate enough to find this cute, comfy, convenient place to stay for the weekend! It was also a quiet and peaceful place. The owner has done some nice updates to the place. She is also very responsive.

Very cute small condo. Everything is as listed and we had a nice weekend get away. The only complaint I have is that the railing on the balcony is not stable at all it's very flimsy and loose. Would be very cautious to have small children out there or to even lean on the railing. Other than that shower was a little tight but do-able! Thank you

The condo was lovely and had everything we needed! Cheryl always responded to my messages within minutes and was super helpful and accommodating. The beautiful lake view and the private boat access were just the icing on the cake! I would definitely recommend this place.

Cheryl was very easy to work with and have us all the information we needed to check in and out! The condo is perfect for a small getaway with great pool access, dock if you have a boat, and easy and quick access to stores, restaurants and bars in the area. We would definitely stay here again!

Very clean and quiet condo, that is very close to some great restaurants, and activities. Communication with the host was great! Quick responses and was helpful with some recommendations for food places and a a small park with a beach! Would definitely and will stay here again!

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend! Very restful and peaceful. Although smaller than what we normally stay in, we enjoyed the space. The lake view is spectacular and even if you don't have a boat you can fish off the docks. We would definitely return. The host could not have been more responsive and communicative. Directions very clear. Again, thanks to the wonderful host!

The small balcony with the view was very enjoyable. A great place to relax. The community pool was very well maintained and clean. The condo is much smaller than the photos depicted. It was barely big enough for 2 people. The bedroom had only a bed with no nightstands since it was small. The bathroom had no countertop space. The cabinets were dated, dirty with fingerprints and the drawers either wouldn't open or were falling apart. The freezers needed defrosted with lots of built-up ice. The bathroom sink countertop still had toothpaste on it from the last occupants. The condo must allow pets, since there was a pet odor. The couch was not clean and had to be covered with a sheet. Would I return to this condo? No. Would I return to this complex of condos? Yes. I give this a 3-star rating because of the location, view and community pool.

Overall the condo was great for a long weekend. The grounds were well maintained and the views from the balcony were beautiful. The pool was refreshing and well maintained as well. My only reason for not giving it a 5 is the comfort/size of the pull out sofa. I would recommend this condo for a couple for a long weekend as the size of the condo and 2nd sleeping option make it pretty tight for more than two. As noted in the listing there are lots of stairs to the condo and well as down to the pool and lakefront so be ready to climb. We also enjoyed exploring the area around Smith Mtn Lake and had some fabulous meals!

Really nice place. We enjoyed the sunset view on the back patio. Complex was quiet, clean and well maintained. Only areas for improvement would be the lack of storage for clothes and suit cases. Wifi availability is dependent upon usage in the building. There were a few times in the morning and evening that I could not get connected. Once connected the quality was good. While Showtime was available on the TV, the remainder of the channels were limited. All things considered, I would recommend this unit and would definitely stay here again!

Awesome location with unbelievable views. Clean and easy to use this great property due to location and proximity to sights and dining. Great host. One correction from someone’s previous review that the shower was too small, RIDICULOUS! I am 6 foot tall, 250 lbs and it’s plenty big. Host is an Angel and we loved the town so much, we plan on retiring there within 2 years. Most beautiful spot we have ever been to.

We were "in town" for a friend's graduation an hour away in Lynchburg. We figured, take the chance and try a place a bit out of the way. Well... the BEST decision made in a long time! What a gem! Despite absolutely horrible weather, the atmosphere of this place/town/room was just sublime and I will recommend this to anyone who needs to just recharge their soul! Seamless. Relaxing. Complete satisfaction!
