About this house rental

Bright sunny windows with views of the lovely Maxwelton Braes golf course and easy access right off Highway 57 in Baileys Harbor. Two furnished covered decks with gas grill, a vaulted ceiling in the great room. The dining area also enjoys a wall of windows and there is a convenient large galley kitchen filled with cabinetry, quartz counter space and great appliances. There is a separate half bathroom and separate laundry room with washer and dryer on the upper floor. Bedrooms are located on the lower floor -- and all three have wonderful windows with full daylight. The main bedroom with king sized bed includes large windows with golf course view and access to one of the covered decks, and has a large private full bathroom and walk in closet. The second bedroom is light and airy with a queen sized bedroom and closet. The third bedroom overlooks the golf course and is furnished with a comfortable queen sized sofa bed and has a den feel, with door to covered deck. Beaches, parks, theater, music, Farmer's markets, hiking trails, water sports are all within 5 minutes of the condo.

My family and I stayed at Karen’s place in Baileys Harbor. It was in a great location just outside of town on a golf course. The house was spacious and very clean. It had all the amenities we needed for our stay. A plus was the ability to use the 2 car garage which was nice on the rainy days. There are 2 outdoor covered decks that we all enjoyed on the cooler mornings and evenings. We would stay here again on our next trip to Door County.

This is such a lovely, spacious condo. We enjoy having family with us and still have a bit of space to spread out. We spent a lot of time at the large dining table playing games and laughing. The deck was a haven for quiet time and reading. Karen is a wonderful, responsive host who goes above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We will be returning ASAP.

We stayed from Thursday through Sunday in the middle of May. Had a tee time at the orchards at 11 o’clock on Thursday with my son and his girlfriend. Unfortunately, they were unable to make it to The Golf Course because they are both police officers and got held over. The homeowner replied quickly when I asked if there was a chance we could check in early because it was now raining on the golf course, and my son and his girlfriend were going directly to the condo. She changed the lock combination, allowing my son and his girlfriend to unpack and relax a bit Before my husband and I were able to get to the condo. From the condo, it was easy to get to downtown Bailey’s Harbor, Fish Creek, where we did boat tour, state parks, and the lovely little towns around the area. The condo itself is very spacious and clean. Plenty of room for six people. It was also stocked sufficiently with things that you would need day-to-day. We would definitely stay there again.

This was our second stay here, and we were just as happy as the first time. We appreciate the golf course overlook, the spacious townhouse and the cleanliness, along with a few updates since our last stay. Our only wish is that the 3rd bedroom had a queen bed, instead of the sofa bed.

We loved this place and highly recommend it. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we could need. We brought our dog and he loved the space and the doggie goodies they had. The large garage had ample space for our bikes, golf clubs, and car. Overall this place was amazing and would stay there again.

The condo is spacious and very well-appointed. It was the perfect location for my husband and I to be able to play lots of golf and to watch the golfers go by from the patio when weren't playing. Communication with the property manager was great. Looking forward to returning!

The condo was easy to find and located close enough to the “downtown” portion of Baileys Harbor. It was quiet, comfortable and clean. Having a 2 car garage was a big plus for storing the bikes. The kids had a lot of room. We plan to make a reservation here next year

The place was great; clean and very spacious. There was more than enough room for my son, daughter-in-law and their infant as well as my young adult daughter, my wife and myself. Our dog was right at home sleeping by the fireplace (even though no fire). We loved the kitchen and big dining table which made family breakfasts and dinners easy.

This was our first VRBO experience and I must say it surpassed all of our expectations! The first thing we noticed was the condo is more spacious than the photos led us to believe. The furnishings are top notch and the place is clean! Everything worked perfectly and the location of the property is excellent for exploring Door County and the surrounding area! We watched sunrises and sunsets. Slept well, enjoyed coffee on the deck outside the dining room, and took long walks with our dog in the morning. It’s about a mile long walk to Kangaroo Lake to the west and about the same distance to Lake Michigan to the east. Arrival and departure procedures are super simple. Karen is very nice to work with and very responsive, she even provided bowls and cleanup bags for the dog! We can definitely recommend this rental property and look forward to returning again!

The condo was a great spot - just off 57 but quiet and actually faster to get to the other villages than when we’ve stayed near Egg Harbor. The property was just as pictured and described, lots of room for our family of 5 and three bathrooms made getting ready convenient. We recommend!

This condo is very large and comfortable. Three bedrooms in the basement area with two baths. We utilized the kitchen quite a lot. The laundry came in very handy. We loved all the little towns up in Door County. Restaurants and shopping were fab! The water was so pretty and the towns so quaint. We would love to return Sunday.

My sister and I stayed at Karen’s lovely, spacious, immaculate condo at Maxwelton Braes for a wintry spring break. It felt like staying at the vacation home of a friend. We’d love to bring a slightly larger family group next time.
