Stayed here for a wedding. Nice location and cute little house

I came in from out of town for a family reunion that was at the Camano State Park campground. The neighborhood was a nice, quiet place to come back to after full days with my family.

The house is in a nice location on the island. It wasn't particularly well appointed, the furniture was a hodgepodge of mismatched items, beds aren't great, too firm for us. Bathrooms could use with some updating, toilets reminded us of kindergarten. We found someone's underwear on the floor by the bed!

Enjoyed the home, the view and easy access to beach.

Great stay! The location was good, and parking was surprisingly ample even with the truck, boat and car! Alan was very responsive and wonderful. Am looking forward to our next trip!

Smelled strongly of wet dogs upon entry! Personal Items everywhere. Garage packed, crowding egress of humans. Personal belongings need to be locked up or gone. Shoes/Slippers at doors. No lock on back door. Lots of personal things on counters/in house.. Dirty bases, and hardwater rings in toilets'. Large Bed against wall= difficult access for 1, extremely firm mattresses, no toppers. Dirty range hood, and oven. They need a professional cleaner. I am one. Nice view and nice white towels. Spent 2 Hours cleaning up Flood from dishwasher!! We will never get that time back. Felt like owners just left and we were NOT WELCOME. Uncomfortable.

Spouse and I were able to stay for two nights. We found the location to be wonderful with personal touches throughout which were interesting to look at during our stay. We appreciated some of the brochures that were left on the coffee stand which gave us some ideas of things we could do. This residence was clean throughout which we appreciated. The only negative is that it smelled of secondhand cigarette smoke which could be smelled on our packed clothes throughout the remainder of our trip to E. Washington. Unsure if this was from the previous visitor. Otherwise 5 stars and recommended.

Well supplied, clean home is as described and seen in photos. Prompt helpful host response to a question. Nice water views looking towards Whidbey Island. Turned out to be a cold rainy couple of days but enjoyed short hikes at State parks and beaches, fun eateries, and watching the unique birds at the feeders out the large windows! Space heaters were efficient and appreciated! Thank you for sharing your home!

I need a weekend away, where I could just eat food read a book and stare at the water, and this was the perfect place to do that!

We mostly just slept at the house because we were having a large family gathering at another house on the island but needed extra sleeping space. The house was great and served our purpose, our only complaint was it had a musty smell

We only ate breakfast in our unit as we had an annual crabbing event that we spent most of the day at. That was just as well - the primary bathroom had not been cleaned (fresh towels had been set out but that was it). Mirror/faucet had soap/toothpaste splatters and it was clear the toilet lid and shower had been not been touched - signs of previous use were evident. Also - don't forget to bring your own coffee - we couldn't find any in the unit (no keurig/nespresso - just a coffee maker and filters.) We were hoping we would find our perfect spot as we come every year for this crabbing event but the search continues.

We loved our stay, very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The living area is nice and open, with a beautiful view of the water. The deck was wondering for having lunch and early supper in the sun. Thank you!

The location was great! Our son had a two day golf tournament at Camaloch Golf Course so we didn't spend a lot of time at the house. The time we were there it was very inviting and relaxing, just like home. The neighborhood was very quiet which was nice. We got some amazing sunset pictures too! We would recommend it for anyone looking to stay on the island!

This place was just perfect! We were here for our daughters wedding 😊 It was the perfect location between both daughters and our new grand baby. We cooked lots in the kitchen and appreciated all you stocked in the kitchen. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us and allowing us to create some wonderful memories here.

Not recommended for elderly people with joint issues. All the furniture is to low. A pillow topper mattress would go along way on both beds. Just trying to be helpful.

Large family gathering for a lovely Camano Island wedding.
This home was close enough for us to be near the fun, yet cozy, quite and comfortable for us to retreat away from all the wedding commotion!
Thanks so much!

Beautiful View
Property was one of the cleanest Vrbo I’ve stayed in. The hodgepodge beach house decor was fun. Three year old loved the backyard. Neighborhood is very quiet and an easy drive to everywhere we needed to go.

I have never gotten more bang for my buck on a stay
Alan and Tomoko's place is perfect, it's a corner lot home with a nice big yard and plenty of privacy. It's spacious, clean, and gives off a "you're home" vibe. The attention to detail they used in leaving items needed was great.
The back yard has a great view of the water and it's a short walk to the beach.
The house is so quiet and peaceful. To clarify they DO have wifi now.
Another review said the towels are in bad shape but they have plenty of nice towels too. Dig around
The only bummer was that the house has a tendency to run warm and the fans are fairly small. Opening windows helps.
I loved my stay, thank you A & T. You have the best deal on VRBO

Beautiful View! Needs some attention…
The back deck and views were incredible and that was our favorite thing about the place. It would not cost much to replace the threadbare towels and unmatching linens. A smoker had obviously lived there at one time. Also the fold out couch in the bedroom does not fit the space! When you fold it out it lays on top of the queen bed! Just some little things needed to make this place more comfortable. A bigger sofa that could be a sleeper sofa in the living room would be a great addition Rather than cramming the sleeper into the second bedroom. The kitchen was great and well appointed and there were lots of little character additions.

Nice getaway
Perfect place for a small family to get away from the city. The place is very clean and has a nice ocean view. It is also only a short walk to Madrona beach.
