The only concern is if you have people who have a hard time with stairs as they are a little steep, but it is an old house and how they came in the day. Great stay

My family and I had an amazing time at Birky’s on Butler. Communication with the owner was great and the check-in/check-out process was seamless. The location was also a highlight with the house being a short walk to shops, restaurants and a park. We also appreciated all the extras that were included, such as parking, beach towels, and yard games. We’ll definitely be back!

Birky's on Butler is the ideal spot for a stay in Saugatuck if you want to be in walking distance of everything the town has to offer yet it's at the quieter end of Butler for when you are relaxing at the property. Believe it or not, the K-zoo River is only a short block from the house in 2 different directions. The home is perfectly sized for 2 couples or a small family (perhaps not recommended for very young children due to the steep staircase leading up to the bedrooms). There is a nicely sized yard (w/grill and table) for outdoor games and relaxation. It is clearly a multi-generational family home that has been lovingly cared for over the years. Eric has thought of everything when equipping the house including a generous selection of beach items in case you forgot or were unable to transport anything to Saugatuck. Overall highly recommended for the perfect getaway!
