The property was ok. The pictures are out dated. There was little to no grass in the front yard. The property has a spider issue. We found at least 10 spiders in the house and cob webs everywhere. The sun room was unable to be used as it was infested with cob webs and spiders. They kitchen did not have matching lids to pots so it was hard with cooking some meals. We had to clean the bathrooms before use because they were filthy. They property owner came and rewashed the floors on our first day because we had to inform her of them. The location and neighborhood was ok. Not to far from stores and the beach. It accommodated my family and our vacation was nice but the property was a little disappointing. I would not stay again.

The house was very nice and large with lovely decorations. The kitchen is very nicely remodeled with new appliances. The only downside was the backyard furniture was dirty, there is no shade except in very early morning and early evening, and the BBQ is only charcoal - messy to use. The house is in a residential area but streets are very busy with noise early morning and evening.

Laurie's home was a very comfortable, homey place for our group of 7 and 1 small dog from 3 families. It's very accessible from Hwy 101 with numerous services on the way. Sleeping arrangements were varied, comfortable and the house large enough to provide varied living areas along with a large secure back yard deck area. We appreciated the well appointed kitchen that provided ample empty shelves for food storage and keep your eye open for several lovely paintings created by the host. Thank you Laurie for a most enjoyable stay.

This rental is a good find in south San Luis Obispo county. It works well for extended families ( grandparents, adults, children) and good friends who don’t mind sharing bathrooms. Lots of comfortable seating, large yard, and a fun little enclosed sun porch that’s great for games, reading , and extra sleeping space.

Wonderful house, quiet neighborhood, close to market and freeway. Great value.

The inside of the home is reasonably clean and tidy. If you enjoy shabby chic decor you will love this place. All photos were staged and in some cases don’t look the same as those in VRBO listing, which means they were likely taken years ago. The fireplace is not to be used according to the sign on the insert. The BBQ is missing parts, which makes grilling quite challenging. A stick must be used to “lock” the sliding glass door, as there is no lock. This house has some plumbing issues that might need to be addressed. The grass in the front yard is only partially watered and green, the rest is dry and brown and very tall. We found three piles of dog poop from a previous guest. The grass front and back is quite tall making it tough to find the dog poop. A hose and sprinkler were spread across the grass in the backyard for the entire 8 days of our stay. Also an overturned wheelbarrow was in the front yard. You may be called upon to water plants, take the garbage out to the curb if you are there on a Sunday and deal with package deliveries. This place probably used to be pretty nice but now it just looks derelict and abandoned. The daily price reflects the condition of this rental home. I have photos to share if requested.

Large country home with lots of beds and furniture. Everything is as the description says. Nice outside area. Tv instruction were difficult to understand. Never could figure it out. But had Netflix and lots of movies.

Our family had a great time exploring the Central CA coast from this ranch house. It sleeps like up to 12 we swear. It has all that you would need to cook and stay in comfort for a week or more. Even a wild bunny rabbit eating grass every morning. We would stay again.

Third time staying here. Love coming back and always nice and clean. This house will not disappoint.

Renting process was easy.

Our stay at this quaint house was top notch. The color scheme was soothing and relaxing. It had all the amenities we could ask for. We would rent this private house again over a hotel room due to the quality of time visiting with our extended family. The location, mid-way between shopping in Santa Maria and beaches in the San Luis Obispo area, was great for us.

The house was great! Very comfortable and had everything we needed. I have no cplaints except the fridge wasnt cold enough for the foood but im sure that would be a quick fix everything else worked perfectly fine. Thank you for letting us stay I would def recommend this home. Very rooomy

It worked perfectly for our stay for the wedding

This house was exactly what we needed for a great stay in Nipomo. The house was beautifully decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed the comfort of all the amenities of this home and felt that the owners took very good care of the house and all the details of what someone would need while in vacation or away for work. I can't wait to stay again.

some nice decorating touches but bath and bed linens either missing (no Hand towels & only 2 wash clothes for a home that sleeps 8) or needing replacement (extra blanket in master bedroom with holes and old stains). Kitchen oven did not work had to use toaster oven, and although nice large refrigerator had ice despenser on door it was not functional due to no water hookup. A odd mix of pots pans (a non stick pan would be nice) and glassware in kitchen. Location was convenient with stores and Jockos restaurant .

We were three couples traveling to visit family and attend a wedding in Arroya Grande. Laurie's house fit our needs nicely. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen outfitted enough for breakfast and light lunches. (Our dinners were at events or family houses.) The house and yard are spacious, nobody was tripping over anyone else. If you choose to stay here, many sites are within in easy distance: Hearst Castle, the sea lion rookery, Pismo Beach, wineries, San Luis Obispo, and more.

We enjoyed our stay. Amenities provided made settling in very easy. Quiet neighbors and great weather made our stay relaxing. Jokkos, Fins, Ventana, restaurants were all a treat.

Everything was as described. We used this as a base for sightseeing along south central coast. House was convenient to US101. We toured missions, Big Sur coast, Hearst Castle Also Morro Rock and state parks around it and all the way up to Monterey. The house had a well equipped kitchen. House was clean and well maintained. Yard was nicely landscaped. It was a relaxing place to stay at.

This home and its location far exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, beautifully decorated, roomy and relaxing. We definitely look forward to booking this property again next year.

My daughter was married at the Dana Powers Barn and this house was the perfect house to rent leading up to that day. It was spacious and very close to the venue. The bridesmaids were all able to get ready at the house prior to the wedding with plenty of space. Very charming decorations and style. Would definitely recommend!

We very much enjoyed our stay! We were two families attending a wedding in Nipomo, so the location was great. The house was clean and there was plenty of room for everyone. We would definitely stay there again!

Six of us adults stayed here for a wedding in Arroyo Grande and we would love to stay here again. Everything is clean, neat, and accommodating. My (adult) children said repeatedly how much they liked not only the house, but the neighborhood as well. We all loved staying in such a warm, comfy home over separate hotel rooms. It was cheaper too! In addition to the three beds in separate rooms, there is a queen air mattress that can be used in the living room. (NOTE: bring 4 D batteries for the pump if you plan to use it - there were none in the pump, but we managed to blow it up with a hair dryer.) Speaking of hair dryers, there is one there. Plenty of parking! We sat out in the backyard in the evening after dinner and enjoyed seeing the stars and the beginnings of the August meteor shower. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs. There's a rooster in the neighborhood but I'm the only one who heard it - probably because I slept in the back room near the backyard. No one else heard it. The kitchen is well-equipped and clean. It's small, but completely efficient if there are only two people in there. So much better than a hotel for this many people. It's a quiet neighborhood and the home is on a large piece of property - at least an acre I'd guess. Makes for a nice stay. The owner even left us home-grown tomatoes from their garden! We discovered Pismo Beach nearby - took about 20-30 minutes to get there and you can DRIVE on the BEACH. Totally new experience for us. It was really fun. You don't have to schlep all your stuff from a parking lot.... just drive up and park where you want, set up and done. $5.00 day fee. Get there early to avoid the long line to pay to get in. The sand is compact so you don't need FWD. Just need to watch the tides. If you have quads or sand dune vehicles, there are a lot of dunes there to explore if you're in to that. Thursday night Farmer's Market in San Luis Obispo is a wonderful experience. About 15 miles north and worth the drive. It is known for pulled-pork and tri-tip sandwiches and grilled corn on the cob, as well as many restaurants, shops, and of course local farmers' farm stands. I believe it runs every Thursday from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.http://downtownslo.com/farmers-market/ NO PETS allowed at the SLO Farmers' Market. If you like beer, be sure and check out Firestone Grille.... very popular in SLO. My family really likes 805 (brand of beer) they have there. The tri-tip can't be beat.

This was our first rental in the Nipomo area and we found it to be very nice. The location was perfect and met our needs 100%. Very clean and nice home with comfortable beds. Would recommend it and hope to rent it again sometime.
