The main house is a spacious beach vacation home with pool, hot tub, pool-side cabana (with cable TV, radio and full size refrigerator, 4 stools), private outdoor living space with 2 tables and chairs (11 chairs, 4 Adirondack chairs, 3 lounge chairs) propane grill and second and third level decking to enjoy the warmth of the sun, ocean views and never-ending sounds of the ocean, provides the perfect escape for that book you’ve been meaning to read. This vacation home is ideal for spending time with your family during summer vacations, a family home for the holidays so that your loved ones can share quality time and create life-time memories, planning your wedding on the beach, as a summer weekly vacation home, a winter monthly or seasonal home, personal retreats or business training/conferences, as there are 4 full size bathrooms for your privacy. There are 6 very nice sized bedrooms, 5 in the main house and 1 in the guest cottage. In the main house there are three bedrooms with queen size beds, the other two fun bedrooms have bunk beds; two sets of bunk beds in the green room and one bunk bed in the orange room. There is Cable TV in the living room of the main house and guest house and all bedrooms in both houses have Cable TV. The green bunk bed room also has a DVD player for your children's enjoyment. Our master bathroom is equipped with a hot tub, shower and large sink countertop and private toileting area. There is a washer and dryer in the main house on the second floor. Our kitchen is beautifully remodeled with white cabinets, plenty of black granite countertop space, granite island countertop, full size oven, pantry closet and all the amenities of home (dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, blender, utensils, dishes, serving trays, pans, baking pans). The open floor plan of the kitchen, dining room and living room allows your family/guests to share stories and enjoy each other’s laughter.
The guest cottage (sleeps 6) with an entrance that opens onto the pool deck, has a private bedroom with a queen size bed, a living room (both areas with Cable TV), kitchenette (with full size refrigerator), eating area and full size bathroom. The guest cottage has a sofa bed in the living room, with the addition of a day bed and pop-up bed. All of our bedrooms have comfortable and inviting linens, bureaus and/or dressers.

This home was well maintained, well equipped with high chair and Graco pack and play for a baby to sleep in. Very clean and huge. It does have 21 sleeping spots. Pool and outdoor area lovely and clean. Three refrigerators in all. One in pool cabana so no need to run in for drinks. The pool house is private and so adorable , a complete unit by itself. Internet was very good. In addition to the unit being perfect, the host was very accessible and answered questions quickly. It is a quick walk to the beach, however the beach is very wide so the walk to the shore takes a while. That you be no matter which house you stayed in. All in all we were very happy in this house.

The property was great for the young kids, but stating that the property is wheel chair accessible was wrong! My daughter could not get in the main house and the bathroom in the small house had a 6” lip to get in the bathroom. The beds were not made and sheets and towels were under the steps to the upstairs, never stayed in a place where we had to make the beds. We killed hundreds of flies

Easy communication with home owner. Everyone enjoyed the outside space. Air conditioning worked great. Easy walk to the beach. Kitchen had a lot of dishes, pots and pan, but sink would not drain. Living room was a little small for the amount of people we had. The two out buildings smelled like pot, I reached out to owners about it. They stated they were aware of the situation and that they had changed air filters and had a purifier running before we got there. They had someone bring another purifier for the remainder of our stay to us on Tuesday.

Our office has started a yearly weekend retreat to the Sandbridge area and this house was a perfect fit for our needs. The bedrooms and bathrooms were sufficent and the addition of the guest cottage was great. It is a little out dated but it was so close to public beach access that we didn't mind. The pool and hot tub were also great to use.

Exceeded expectations in every way. The pool and cabana bar were fantastic. Kitchen was well stocked for easy cooking. There were 10 adults and 4 children. We loved the beach and sight seeing but spent lots of time at the house. Hope to return!

This was our first full family vacation to Virginia Beach and the house in Sandbridge was everything we hoped it would be! The house was just big enough for 11 of us and 2 adults stayed in the guest cottage. We enjoyed taking turns hanging out at the pool or waking the short distance to the beach. It was truly a very relaxing experience and we will definitely be coming back!! We loved our stay at Sandbridge Beach. The area is great- very quiet and about a 5 minute walk to the beach. We walked to the market and gift shops several times as well (and of course for ice cream at Ben & Jerry's). The beach was never crowded. A storm came from the gulf on Tuesday, so red flags were posted warning about swimming for the remainder of the week. We still went shell hunting each day and just watched the ocean and dolphins. We went to OBX and took our grandson to Digger's Dungeon on the way to the H2OBX Waterpark. Felicia was great and answered several pre-trip questions. She also let me know when to expect the people for pool cleaning. There were 11 in our group (7 adults and 4 children) and all agreed this was our favorite beach house rental yet- and we have rented many. The house was clean upon our arrival. My youngest daughter and her family stayed in the guest house, which was perfect with my granddaughter just having her first birthday the week before. They have a 3 year old as well and didn't need to worry about steps. I loved the kitchen on the main floor of the house. This makes a huge difference- we had to get everything up to the third floor in past rentals. Speaking of the kitchen, we had everything needed to do a shrimp boil, omelet breakfasts, cook out hamburgers, do a "street taco bar", etc. We loved the beds and everyone slept well. The pool and hot tub were favorites. Our family will be cruising next year but would love to rent this house again in 2023!

Only a few cons. When we arrived none of the beds were made which was annoying. The beds are old and could use either a mattress pad or new beds in general.

Upon arrival I noticed none of the beds were made and there was a duffel bag that looked like it had just been dropped off from the prison laundry with a bunch of threadbare, no elastic sheets, some with stains. I contacted the landlord about someone coming to make the bed and she said that the guests job. OK, so if you’re going to have to make the beds bring your own linens because these were frightful. The neighborhood was great, the location was great, the pool was nice, the guest house was nice but the main house just needs some updating. The 30 year old carpet and the old, smelly furniture would be expected possibly on a cheaper place but for $1000 a night I just expected more.
