About this apartment rental

Aloha! Our condo complex was not damaged by the Lahaina fire. Greater Maui is open. Ka'anapali hotels are open and accepting guests which means restaurants and all the beach and golf services are open. Ka'anapali Whalers Village restaurants and stores are open. Areas north such as Kahana, Napili and Kapalua are also open for dining and golf and were not impacted. Grocers are open and of course the beach is as beautiful as ever. Our condo complex is in perfect condition with lower occupancy so it's extra quiet and the pool area is usually empty.

Note Ka'anapali Royal's facility fee is NOT included in my rates. Flat fee is $154 as of 9-1-22. (Compares very low to the crazy resort and condo association fees at other condos and hotels nearby.)
We remodeled our kitchen May 2021, the master and guest baths in 2018/19. New AC 1/19. New gas BBQ added 12/20. Spring 2022 updates: Sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress, king mattress, misc. furniture replaced.
Ka’anapali Royal is located on the 16th fairway of the Kaanapali Golf Course, in the center of the Ka’anapali Resort. The upscale condo complex has low-rise buildings and is very relaxing with lots of open green space and tropical gardens. Our quiet, spacious, top floor unit has an excellent ocean view and overlooks the pool and golf course. Yet only one set of stairs up from the parking lot. Enjoy amazing sunsets while you sip a Mai Tai on our huge lanai.
It's a short 10 minute stroll to Whalers Village and the world famous Kaanapali Beach, consistently voted a world top beach by readers of Conde Nast Traveler Magazine. Whaler’s Village offers a variety of stores and great restaurants. Including Monkeypod Kitchen, Hula Grill, and Leilani's. Kaanapali Royal guests enjoy a resort golf discount. 'Black Rock', located on Kaanapali Beach, offers excellent snorkeling.
Our privately owned condo has over 1600 square feet of living space with air conditioning plus a wonderful huge lanai with BBQ overlooking the pool with a great ocean view. It is centrally located in the complex with close access to the solar heated pool, spa and tennis courts. Our top floor unit is easily accessible since the parking lot is on the 2nd floor level.
We are a set of steps up one level to great views. The downstairs entrance takes you into the living areas including a large living room, fully equipped kitchen, dining room with seating for 6, and laundry with full size washer/dryer. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa, 55" HDTV, free fast wifi internet, DVD, stereo and great views. One bedroom with attached full bathroom, queen bed, ceiling fan, and private lanai is also downstairs. (Note about parking/mountain side guest bedroom. You may read reviews from other Royal condos saying this room is noisy. We have enclosed the lanai off this bedroom with double pane glass, but kept the original sliding glass door. This has made the bedroom very quiet.)
Upstairs we have a very spacious master bedroom and full bathroom with vaulted ceilings & fan, ocean views, king bed, memory foam futon, TV, and DVD/VCR.
The gated condo complex has secure parking. Guests may have one car on property, second car is at the discretion of our General Manager. If you plan to have two cars please check with me. There are also two tennis/basketball/picklelball courts, a large pool, 2 gas grills and outdoor dining area, and Jacuzzi. K. Royal is the perfect spot for your vacation in a serene and relaxing atmosphere, it's never crowded. You will always have a lounge chair by the pool! Very close to the beach yet about half the price of oceanfront condos, much quieter and much larger units.
We are a legal vacation rental in the heart of a resort zoned area. See tax ID below which means we are a permitted vacation rental.

From the moment I booked this property I knew we were going to have a great time. Rick was prompt and responsive from the get go. Not only did he answer my questions he offered tips & recommendations on things to do while we were there so helped in continuing to plan our trip. We referred to his recommendations regularly. When we were tired from a long day of traveling with 5 kids, he was there to help guide us getting in immediately & was incredibly kind in doing so. (Complete user error. Instructions were very clear & easy to follow.) He checked in the next day to make sure we were comfortable & comfortable we were! It had everything we needed & more for our family of 7 (2 parents & kids aged 20, 14, 12. 5 & 3.) Also plenty for babies too. Space for all of us to sleep comfortably, plenty of pillows, blankets, sheets & towels for our week long stay. All the beds/pillows were comfortable! The location was amazing & views were some of our favorites! Took a ton of pictures just off our lanai. We Loved walking to Whalers village, Kaanapali beach & Black Rock. Went to Whalers almost daily because it was so easy & fun. Lots of meals on the lanai & inside comfortably as we had everything we needed to cook most meals there with a well stocked kitchen & grill was a plus. The available electronics & extras like snorkeling/beach gear was impressive! Parking was no problem and we felt more than safe in the gated community. Would stay here again & have already recommended to others!

Unit was absolutely fantastic! Unit was well appointed and in perfect condition. No detail overlooked. Can’t wait to get back next summer. You will not be disappointed.

We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for our family of 5. The condo was nice, we enjoyed the pool side BBQ, large lanai, tennis courts, and especially the air conditioning!

Rick communicates promptly. Nice location, close to Whalers Village and to the beach. Parking is easy. Awesome pool and hot tub for relaxation. Place is well equipped for cooking, laundry, and have miscellaneous stuff like beach chairs, inflatables, snorkeling gear, etc.

We had a wonderful stay in this condo! The location was fantastic and within walking distance of the beach and shops and the view was awesome from the patio. The condo had everything we needed for a week stay with four adults. Communication was also very easy, they checked in regularly to make sure everything was going well and sent us all the info we needed ahead of time for check in etc. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our first visit to Maui. The location of this property was close to Kaanapali Beach. We loved all of the restaurants in Whaler's Village. The view from the condo is beautiful! The host was very helpful!

This condo had it all- we couldn’t believe how well equipped it was, and a fraction of the cost of other places within walking distance. Our kids loved playing hide and seek in the spacious condo, swimming at the pool, walking to Whalers village, and we enjoyed watching the sunset over the ocean every night eating fresh local grilled fish- heavenly!
