About this apartment rental
Welcome to our charming 3-bedroom bungalow overlooking a beautiful lake. Relax on the covered deck and take in the stunning view while sipping on your favorite drink. The kitchen is fully stocked for your convenience and the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, with a king bed in one and queens in the remaining two. A futon in the living room provides additional sleeping space.
Tucked away in a high-end, quiet subdivision, our property offers a serene country-like setting. You may even have some curious ducks and geese visit you in the yard.
Enjoy access to the entire unit and yard during your stay. There is also an efficiency unit on the lower level with a separate entrance and patio.
For any questions or assistance, I am just a call or text away at 618-781-0716. But remember to look out the window first – you might get distracted by the picturesque surroundings!
Don’t let the peaceful location fool you, we are only 3 miles from downtown Collinsville and just a short 10-minute drive to Fairview Heights or O'Fallon. So whether you need to do some shopping at the mall or grab a bite to eat at one of the nearby restaurants, you are just a quick drive away.
Please note that this property is not accessible by public transportation, so you will need a car, Uber, or taxi to get around. And finally, we must mention that this is a two-family residence, with my mother-in-law residing in the lower unit. But don’t worry, she keeps to herself and you won’t even know she’s there. So book your stay with us and experience the best of both worlds – the tranquility of the countryside and the convenience of being close to all the action.

15 minutes from gateway center in Collinsville, IL. Very nice neighborhood with a beautiful lake that is filled with fish, turtles, and ducks that our kids loved. We enjoyed the comfortable beds.

Our stay at this quaint property was nothing short of perfect. Nestled in a serene and quiet countryside, this charming 3-bedroom bungalow was just what my brother and I needed for our 5-night stay. The home was only a few minutes away from visiting our parents in Collinsville; the purpose of our trip. What truly set it apart was the seamless blend of homely comforts and vacation luxury. Very clean and well-maintained, it felt like our own slice of countryside paradise, where nature and relaxation harmoniously intertwined. The host was accommodating and responsive to our questions throughout the stay.
We definitely intend to stay there again when we return in the spring, provided it’s available.

The set up was really nice. We enjoyed the back deck most of all. It was a nice little country feel with being just minutes away from city life.

We stayed here over Christmas. We needed a place where we could come together as a family and celebrate. We were greeted with a Christmas tree and bottle of wine. The house was clean and warm. We didn’t use the fireplace as it was wood burning and it was too cold to enjoy the deck, but the view was pretty and we enjoyed watching all the birds out back. We used the kitchen extensively and had no issues. This was a very nice place and we would surely return when coming back to the Metro East.

Hidden gem in Caseyville
Our family stayed for 3 days so my wife could visit her family and most memorable locations as a child. The home was clean, welcoming and located near everything we came to see and do. The home is located in a neighborhood with all new, beautiful homes surrounding a lake. We enjoyed the outdoor covered deck, lake views and breezes. We would recommend this location to anyone.

I had a great time here, wonderful views! There is a downstairs neighbor though, be careful not to walk into their home!

Extremely Comfortable Stay
From the get go the host was wonderful. Communicated quickly and often! Home is off the beaten pat in a wonderfully quiet neighborhood. Close to anything you want to get to! We had a baby shower for our son and dil in St Louis. Excellent location and really beats staying on the city. Extremely safe neighborhood. Husband and son fished in the adjacent beautiful lake. DIL and I walked her dogs and saw som beautiful horses grazing. Could not have asked for a better, safer or cleaner place and this hosts tops them all! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Peaceful Experience
My husband and I plus two adult children and their spouses and two dogs stayed two nights. We attended a Cardinals game Thursday night and Friday night went to listen to a friend sing/play. Otherwise, we just relaxed in this peaceful setting. The open kitchen/dining/living was a great meeting place, but we mostly enjoyed the covered deck that overlooks the lake. The rooster is quite entertaining! The house was very clean and beds were comfortable. Since there is only one bathroom, it is nice that it is large with double sinks. Highly recommend! PS: The actual address will get you there on Google maps and within two house on Maps.

Neighborhood was good
The place was nice we didnt have much communication with the host so the door was an issue for us on which one to go in we accidentally walked in on the downstair neighbor. The stay was good the only other issue i had was it shows a dock for the lake and its not there that was the one reason i picked this spot

Clean, accommodating, great area, friendly
Everyone was extremely helpful and kind that we interacted with as it related to the space and neighborhood. Everything was extremely clean and stocked with needed items. Thankful that we were able to bring our dogs and it was a great environment inside and outside for them as well. Thanks!

Serene
This was a last minute booking due to a funeral so the owner was out of town. We arrived at night so with no lights it was a little confusing but we were able to connect for guidance. This is an upstairs unit above another with a very steep tall enclosed staircase which is only entrance (had we known we would have packed differently). The unit has 3 lovely bedrooms, full kitchen and family room. We really enjoyed the deck and relaxing by the lake. Wi-fi would be a plus. The AC went out during our stay and the owner was very quick to call someone for repairs. Since the weather was nice we were able to open the windows and enjoy some fresh air.

For check in we were told the door would be unlocked and a key on the counter. Thankfully a very sweet relative was outside and advised us what to do and gave us the pass key code for future use. So we never did have a key to lock the main door. In the “vestibule area” there was a door where someone could have access to our rental home.Since we couldn’t lock the main door upon leaving this made us a bit uneasy. The location is very convenient for shopping and heading into St. Louis and all it has to offer. We only used one of the three bedrooms. We did note in the other 2 bedrooms the bed linens were coming off the bed noticeable under the comforter, making us wonder if they had been laundered. The Dish TV and the TV operations were operationally inadequate. In the main room. Bedroom TV that we used was good.Due to unseasonably warm weather we were invaded by Stink bugs that we discovered were coming in thru the chimney flue.Noticed the floor tiles in the bathroom were loose and felt that was due to a grab bar handle missing in the tub where water was getting up under the tub creating this issue as well as the floor of the tub buckling. Nothing was mentioned in the description and/or pictures of the property of it being a builders contractors headquarters and working farm. Basically not a peaceful environment.

Dirty 30 weekend
We had a good time this weekend and was able to grill out with the family. We did have to buy a propane tank because both tanks were empty but it was worth it.

This was a great location for staying while visiting St.Loius.
Very relaxing atmosphere! Only thing better would have been to have the dock open next to the home. There was a tree down so we needed to go farther to get to the water. The house was very clean and nice!

The property was great. It would be an ideal spot for anyone looking to be close to STL without staying in STL. Heidi was very accommodating and helpful.

Perfect spot for 1.5 week stay
This was a great little place for our family of 5.
Super close to both St. Louis & the event we had at Collinsville Gateway Center. Safe neighborhood area. Super clean, comfy beds & we were able to make our own meals & do laundry! (Others at the event that started in hotels were jealous about that). Neighbor that lives below is super friendly. Heidi is quick to respond and very helpful. Had everything we needed. The only negative was that the dock was not accessible at the time we were there but Heidi was very sweet and offered for us to use her gazebo & fire pit on the property. Definitely recommend this place for your St. Louis trip & would stay again.

Wedding weekend
Our family of 4 adults and 2 children needed a place near our son's wedding venue at Far Oaks. The rental location was perfect. The open concept kitchen and family room accommodated the 6 of us as well as guests. The 3 bedrooms were spacious and provided multiple options for pillows and bedding. The on site washer and dryer was an added bonus. We had a great stay and even tried a little fishing in the pond.

Quiet, beautiful neighborhood - lake views!
This property was very clean and modern. The deck was perfect! Even on a rainy day, we could enjoy the view under the covered deck. Property manager was very responsive to my questions and even helped with a question via phone upon our arrival. Close enough to downtown, but also quietly serene and away from it all. I highly recommend this home!

Peace and comfort
We arrived at the set check-in time and were immediately amazed by the lake the loft overlooks. The place was very clean, the neighborhood was pleasant, our dog had so much fun running outside since there was a lot of space, the kids enjoyed the lake, and Heidi was very responsive. Whenever I needed something or had a quick question, she would reply within a minute.
Overall, we are very satisfied and would definitely book this place again. The only little recommendation I have would be to have smart TVs available, but we solved that with a stick.
Thanks! I would definitely recommend this place.

Peaceful weekend getaway
We shared this home with a second family and we had a great weekend! The house was really nice with plenty of furnishings. The grill was amazing and the deck had a beautiful view of the lake, with just a few very nice homes surrounding the lake. It was only 20 min into downtown St. Louis so an ideal location. The kids had a great time and even met a few of the neighborhood pets.
We were concerned with only having one bathroom but it turned out not being a problem.
Overall very pleased and would go back again.
