Our vacation villa is located in a gated community with secure access. The community is an ideal place to relax away from the major hotel areas, but close enough to take advantage of the area offerings, including Sea World, Disney World, Universal Studios, Legoland, and many nearby golf courses.
The Villa is a beautiful four bedroom house with two en-suite master bedrooms, and two twin bedrooms. All bedrooms have cable TV. The layout of the house includes a common living room for the family to relax in as well as a separate sitting area den to get away from the activity. The roomy kitchen is central and is open to the dining and living areas. The game room is a great place to connect with the kids using the pool table, foosball table, or air hockey.
This is a single story house, so there are no stairs to climb, which makes it great for all age groups.
The pool/spa is in screen-enclosed and illuminated, and includes both a covered lanai and sunny lounging areas. A children's gate keeps young ones safe. The pool is on the south side of the house, so you have full day sun. Heat for the pool/spa is optional at additional charge. The view of the beautiful community Tower Lake is exceptional at sunset. This is a great place to relax after a full day.
If you enjoy golf, there are plenty of choices within 30 minutes from the villa. Some of these courses are Southern Dunes, Champions Gate, Highlands Reserve, and Ridgewood Lake.

We enjoyed our stay here in Haines City. We were here planning a 100th birthday party for my mother in law. The property was easy to find and close to everything. The owner was great and easy to deal with. Would definitely recommend!

Only problems was house was way to hot when the outside temperature is 97 plus degree weather and game room wasn’t useable (for the summer months)

The description is on point. Everything met our needs. There is always someone at the security gate to check in all cars in so we felt safe and secure at all times. I love how it’s a pay it forward rental—there are already things in the kitchen like spices to make it easier. We used the grill a couple of times so it was great to have. The only concern was that most of the things in the game room were old and didn’t function as well but we were barely in there so it was fine. Overall, it was a great experience.

My family couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at Cherokee Villa. Bill was an excellent host, and the house was wonderful. Our 3 year old enjoyed swimming in the pool, and playing hide and seek in the spacious house. It had everything you could want as far as kitchenware, and all the extras. It was in a perfect location to hop on Hwy 27, and I-4 quickly, but still in a very quiet, secure, and safe neighborhood. Legoland/Peppa Pig World were a half hour drive south, and Disney was a half hour drive north, so it really was the perfect location for all our needs. Will definitely contact Bill again if we are ever in the area.

This villa kept us safe through hurricane Ian. Unfortunately that ruined out 5 day stay but we could not fault Bill or his lovely villa. Everything was clean, rooms are very spacious, the pool is a nice size. The location is good, right next to the security gate for the walled estate and only 5 mins drive from the big Walmart superstore.
Hopefully we can return and not have to endure a hurricane next time :)

It'll be nearly impossible to write a short summary of our wonderful stay at Bill and Beth Taylor's Cherokee Villa, but I'm gonna give it a shot:
We've stayed at another property in this same neighborhood on a previous visit because of how close it is to my kids home. This home however, was a million times better with respect to the amenities, and condition... and most importantly the incredible Owner/Hosts Bill and Beth Taylor. Their communication was fantastic before we arrived, and also while we were there. If we reached out via email or text, Bill was there with a response very quickly. Their home was exactly how it was represented on VRBO so know that what you see if definitely what you get. The added bonus however was the amenities. There were so many dishes, glasses, pots & pans, towels, and even things like spices (which we definitely used when having pour kids over). There is so much room at Cherokee Villa and everything was in impeccable condition.
The last thing I will say is that our trip unfortunately ended with an unexpected medical emergency. It was on the day we were checking out to head home, and we ended up having to stay longer. When we called Bill to let him know what was going on, he offered for us to stay another night so we'd have a home to come home to. I cannot say how much this meant to my family and I. This kind of selfless generosity is so awesome, and sadly in short supply in our world today. Cheers to you Bill.

Property was clean and as advertised. Bill was great to deal with and answered all questions amazingly fast. I hated having to bother Bill to change the thermostat in the house, but he changed it within minutes of me sending him a text message! (I'm sure some past renters abused the AC so now he has to watch it, can't say that I really blame him) Great house for a great rate, would definitely stay again.

Perfect house for 2 families, we were 4 adults and 4 kids. Very clean house. Kids enjoyed pool and gaming room. The fishing pier was a great addition for us. Very quiet neighborhood.

Haines City rental
The gated neighborhood was very nice and quiet. We enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub everyday. We played pool and darts in the game room. Our bed was comfy. I would recommend bringing a big skillet there was two smaller skillets and we made that work.

Perfect house for us!
This house was perfect in every way. We had 2 master suites so each couple had a master! The living spaces are great because those working in the kitchen could be involved in the conversations of all the family that stopped by. We were there for our mother’s funeral and some of the relatives we hadn’t seen in decades!
There is also a 2nd smaller living room perfectly located away from the main living room so when phone calls would come in the person could step into that space to have privacy and take their conversation away from the others.
We will definitely return to this location!

Many of the appliances were like mine at home, except the range. W/D, Ref, D/W was awesome! It dried the dishes! The owner is the manager and he was there for every request! Pool was well kept, grill came in handy for lunch.

Family Fun in FL
Our family enjoyed every minute in this lovely house & pool! The games in the garage helped us spread out and the toys in every room helped everybody get their own shows!! We cooked every meal in the kitchen with so many extra gadgets & pans available! We really appreciated the DW, ice maker & being able to do some laundry. There were plenty of towels & blankets and the auto-adjusted AC worked great. Our local family was easily able to join us for meals & swimming. The host quickly replied and acted on anything we asked. 5 stars in every category!

75th Birthday Surprise Visit
We needed a place close to my parents to surprise my mom on her 75th birthday. I choose Bill’s place because it was very close, had a pool, and WiFi as my son and son-in-law both needed it to work remotely. Plus, this rental had the highest and most reviews. Everything was as pictured, very clean and easy fast communication with the owner. We will definitely be coming back to this house instead of a hotel as we usually do when in the Orlando area. This is so much better to come back to after being out all day.

AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT!
The home was wonderful although the pictures should be updated because looks better then in the pictures. Our family had a great time. House was perfect. It was the homeaway from home. We made some great memories there and we will definitely go back. The only thing I would change is the game room was hot but we still enjoyed every inch of the house. Spa and pool was great after a long day of walking around. Bill and Beth you have a wonderful home and thank you for sharing it with us and thank you for getting back to me fast whenever we had any questions .

Such a fun and enjoyable rental!
My family and I had a blast at Bill and Beth’s home. It was just like being at our home with all the amenities. Our kids are 3 and 5 and loved it there as well. We would definitely rent from them again on our next trip to Florida. Perfect location for seaworld and Busch gardens. Also close to stores and the highways. The house was very kid friendly and had everything we needed for over a week stay. You will not regret renting from them! 😊

Excellent Stay! Home away from Home
From the moment we walked through the doors, we were totally impressed with the overall presentation of the Taylor's home! Our stay was comfortable - it felt like home away from home. Our favorite pastime was the private pool - on days we didn't explore the area, we all had a blast hanging out at the pool and in the game room! Walmart was literally right around the corner - this was a major plus for all of us. We experienced NO issues during our stay, and for that we are truly appreciative.

The house was the perfect size for 8 of us and was just as we expected.
We had a wonderful time staying at this house. We really enjoyed all of the extras that it had to offer as we played a lot of pool and ping pong. We also really enjoyed the hot tub, especially on the colder nights. Overall was a great stay. Would recommend this house to anyone.

Very positive experience. One level floor plan accommodates all ages. Having a Wal Mart less than one mile away is very convenient. Very close to all major attractions, but if you want to just stay home and relax, it's perfect for that too. We would definitely recommend this home to others. The owners are easy to work with.

EXCELLENT!
First of all, the owners are awesome and very easy to work with. They answered all questions very quickly. This property was excellent for us. We had 2 couples, another adult, and one child. The couples had their own master bedroom and the other 2 had their own bedroom. No problem with those going to bed early or staying up late. Everyone had their own TV in the room and another in the family room. This property would be great for 2 families and much cheaper than 2 hotel rooms and much more comfortable. Our granddaughter LOVED the pool and hot tub. I think she liked it better than Disney World. Just one word of caution about the hot tub, if you are elderly or have mobility issues, the hot tub can be hard to get out of. The drop from the surface to the seating area is quite steep and I (64 years old and short) had a hard time getting out--just be aware--but the hot tub was so nice after a long day at Disney World. There was a great game room in the garage and we had fun with it one evening. This house was not super close to Disney World, but it was close enough. There are numerous businesses (grocery stores, drug stores, restaurants, etc) within a few minutes drive from the house. I highly recommend this property. You won't be disappointed.

Lovely house, lots of amenities and creature comforts.
This house is beautiful and the owners provided lots of creature comforts for guests. My family and I had a great time at this house and visiting Legoland. The two reasons I gave this property 4 stars instead of 5 is because we couldn't adjust the temperature when it was unseasonably hot outside (and very warm inside!) and because we weren't able to control the DVD player (or find the DVD remote) in the den. But, the home was very comfortable and we enjoyed all of the wonderful amenities (game room, pool, hot tub)!

We never used a site to rent a home out of state so we were very leary. This home was amazing. The owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome and at home. Comfortable Home for Relaxing Vacation
Spent 5 days in this lovely home with family. We were in the area for a wedding and other than that event & a trip to the grocery store we never left the house. Spent many hours in & by the pool just enjoying the company. The house is setup so everyone can have their own space if they want to. Kitchen was furnished with everything you need to cook. The owners were great to work with. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.
