We enjoyed our stay in King’s Beach! The location is within walking distance of the beach and shops. The home had plenty of space for 9 people, including a huge primary suite. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking equipment and there were plenty of towels and bedding. The host, Rachel, is friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our extended weekend stay at this house. It's very big, has a great layout, and in a great location - close to everything but a quiet area. The house is very clean. A definite value. My only concern is the cookware needs some updating. The non-stick coating is peeling off, so that was our only challenge.

Paddle boarding by day and dining in the evening. Location was wonderful. Driving was optional … so we were free have an other glass 🍷 and just walk home 😊 (8 women)

We had a wonderful time at the Northshore Townhouse. We had 4 adults and 3 kids and the setup worked out great with plenty of room for everyone! Not only is the location very convenient but the neighborhood is fairly quiet so when you need to open your windows at night in the summer(no A/C as in most homes in Tahoe) you get a great nights sleep! Townhome is only a short walk away from Kings Beach and a 20 minute drive from Sand Harbor which made it very easy to enjoy some of the best beaches in Tahoe! We had everything we needed to cook and prepare meals, and the kitchen was spacious enough for us to move around in. The only problem we ran into was that there was a “natural gas” smell coming from the laundry area when we first arrived. However, Rachel was incredibly responsive and called me back to explain the smell was coming from the washer (they were in the process of trying to fix it) and they had just had the gas company out to verify it wasn’t a leak. Honestly it wasn’t a big deal after that and had no effect on the rest of our time there. My only suggestion is to bring extra trash bags to dispose of trash because if you are doing a shorter stay you can only utilize one of the trash bins (not that big) and recycling & trash goes into the same bin.

There were only two issues, one being the fridge not cold, second very very few bath towels. We brought lots beach towels. The walk to the beach was easy, the kitchen was well furnished. The fans came in handy.

5 ladies stayed. We loved how close it was to Sand Harbor, 2 casino's, Safeway and Kings Beach. They had lots of fans to keep us cool during the summer. If your going to be cooking, be prepared to bring your own spices/cooking oils otherwise there are plenty of cooking pots/pans etc..Check in was a breeze. The Livingroom furniture was very comfortable.

The house was great! Very comfortable. Clean. Had everything we needed. It was nice to have the garage to store our paddle boards. The best part was that it was walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The only negatives were the lack of outdoor space, and the water heater- We had to reset it once because we weren't getting any hot water, but it really wasn't a big deal. Would definitely stay there again!

The condo is in a great location, within walking distance to shopping and an excellent coffee shop (Javahut). The neighbors are friendly and our dogs made some new friends. We were on a ski vacation and it was a short 20 minute drive to Mt. Rose. Hiking was only 10 mins away.
The condo was very comfortable and was well equipped.
Communication with the owner was EXCELLENT, they were always quick to respond.
Great place to stay and we will definitely be back for another ski vacation.

Clean, Quiet, Comfortable
Just spent 4 nights, for a destination Wedding, at the property in Kings Beach. Weather was 50-80 degrees, but the house was always comfortable. Lovely, rustic neighborhood to walk the dog, close to good restaurants and Kings Beach. With 8+ of us, we never felt crowded.

Great location, lots of space, clean and updated, nice hosts - what else could you want for a vacation stay? I loved being so close to Kings Beach and Northstar. The neighborhood is quaint and idyllic. We had everything we needed and more. Super comfy stay. It was a great weekend.
The only issue, which was really minor, is that there were too many remotes and I couldn’t figure out how to work the tvs in any room. I am perfectly happy to vacation without tv, but it would be nice if the systems worked in a more straightforward and simple manner.

Everything was great. The only thing we would have liked to have had would be extra toilet paper in each bathroom and a couple of extra trash bags. It would have been really nice to have a second working shower. Unfortunately,(not the owners fault) the water leaked into the downstairs from the upstairs when the shower was turned on. The owners were very responsive. We loved it here and felt very "at home"!

It was a very spacious arrangement. Large upstairs where all slept comfortably. Roomy downstairs living area where more than one person could be in the kitchen. Nice to have a garage to store our gear. Beautiful birthday weekend!

Great place to stay!
This is the second time I have rented this home and continue to be happy with this place. The home is clean, updated, has plenty of beds and its in an excellent location. Its a short drive to Northstar resort and a couple of blocks from the main street in Kings Beach. Owners are very responsive. Definitely recommend this home.

Really great townhouse
We had a really nice stay. The townhouse is very comfortable with plenty of room for my family. Close to the lake and a short drive to Northstar. My only complaint, and it's a small one, is that I wish the water was hotter. Luke warm bath in a beautiful bathtub that would have been a perfect way to end the ski day and it was impossible to get the water hot to do a good job washing dishes. Other than that, this place was perfect for us. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean and comfortable
The property was clean and inviting. Our kids really enjoyed having their own space. The kitchen was nicely stocked with utensils, plates, bowls, pans pots knives coffee maker, etc. You do not need to bring anything. The stove and oven worked quickly. They had plenty of extra towels, blankets, and linen. There were Dvds and board games for the kids. They even had some snow sleds in the garage. The washer and dryer worked well. The heater warmed up quickly. The area was very quiet. It was close to Northstar, Safeway, and the lake. We pulled over on the side of the road nearby to play in the snow (saved about $250 vs going to Northstar) and the kids had a lot of fun and burned off their energy. The town is really small and cozy. We had dinner at local restaurant called Soule Domain and it was nice and cozy( the food wasn't as tasty as I would expect it to be, but the experience was nice). Overall, this was a very nice place to stay especially with kids.

Beautiful home, great location!
We loved our winter stay at this home and hope it is available again for our yearly snow trip. It is very clean, spacious and the kitchen is well-stocked with cooking implements. The water gets nice and hot for showers and the washer/dryer are modern and run well. The location is great- residential and quiet- but just a few blocks from restaurants, cafes, a market, etc.

Fabulous Townhouse with Updated Furnishings
The townhouse is just absolutely beautiful, super clean, organized, well furnished without clutter. Comfortable for family of 9 with enough towels and lien for for everyone. Huge washer and dryer for use. Kitchen has walk in pantry with all the utensils needed to cook lavish meal. The home is just up the street from beach and park. Friendly neighbors and safe. Over all perfect location for beach gathering in the summer and skiing for winter. All shopping is close driving distance. Free wifi, board games, and movie selection. This will be our regular place. Cant beat the price for all it has to offer.

Like new! Great place to stay
We had a short weekend at the townhouse and it looks just like the pictures. The place feels like new, and is very spacious. It had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. We were able to drive to Northstar in 10 minutes, and a member of our group who didn't want to ski, could take a short walk to King's Beach State Park to enjoy the lake. We would definitely stay again.

The Perfect Winter Getaway
This house suited our group perfectly! We were all very impressed by how well the house was maintained and it's bigger than what you see in the pictures. The location was great too since it was close to many activities: ski/snowboard/ice skate at Northstar, snowmobile (Hwy 267), and sledding at a nearby park. They had a small DVD library available which was a nice bonus. We would definitely come back here again!

Cozy home, great price
The house was very cozy, clean and great location. Was there for skiing with friends and just loved the close proximity to Northstar. It helps to have safeway close by(approx 5 mins drive) to grab the few essentials we forgot to bring. I wish there was more parking ( spots for 2 cars available) but luckily was not a problem as the street did not need snow plowing. The owners are very prompt to answer emails/phone calls in case of question. Definitely looking forward to a return trip.

My husband & I and a few close friends decided to stay at this place because it was close to northstar. The place is exactly as described and photographed -- cute, modern, warm, clean, and conveniently located.
The owners are very pleasant and promptly returns emails and the deposit. We would definitely rent this place again -- hope it's available next time we need a place to stay in the area!

Spacious townhouse in great location.
We stayed here with another family and had plenty of room. We had three babies in the house and you couldn't hear any of them from the next room so the insulation is great. We grilled at home and also were able to walk out to eat which is nice since it's hard to pack up 3 babies and drive somewhere. The location is great and the house had a lot of room to be comfortable. We have no complaints about the house.

Great Place
We just finished a long weekend at the tail end of President's Day week. Our whole family, including a four and two year old, as well as our dog, had a wonderful time. The place was clean and centrally located to everything. The owners are extremely friendly and renting this place was easy with very reasonable rates.
