1940's cottage with a full retro kitchen and nice ambiance. Smart TV and WIFI. Close to Wasatch Mountain range, which allows to breathtaking hikes in the summer and amazing ski in the winter (Alta, Brighton, Snowbird and Solitude). No car needed, public transportation will take you everywhere. Half block away from UTA bus and three blocks from TRAX rail system. Surrounded by amazing eateries, bars, and bakeries. Easy in and out from major interstate freeways. Washer and Dryer and Free WIFI. Service animals and pets will be considered.

It was very comfortable, clean, easy Access to fun places to see. Water park was great fun, loved the beautiful city of Murray! I definitely will visit this place again. My daughter was ready to pack up and move to Murray Utah. She loved it. Fun places to shop great places to eat. Shopping was walking distance from where we stayed.

Good location for the Cottonwoods. Should update the pictures online. No cable tv, just a smart TV for streaming. Stayed in 2 separate units. Both clean. Will consider staying again next year.

I travel all over the world and can say this is one of the best places I've ever been to. Small details that make a huge difference (washing powder) a warm cozy atmosphere and plenty of room. The location was amazing.

Great communication with our host. The unit was warm, clean, cozy and met our needs well. We needed a place that was close to our grandchildren’s house and welcomed our dogs. We were only there at night to sleep.

Nice place. Easy to get into for my son , who is in a wheelchair. A bar next to the toilet and in the tub would make this property perfect for a person in a wheelchair. And folks who don't need it wouldn't even notice.

This property is my go-to spot and it never disappoints. The place is so cute and equipped with all the basic needs. The location is centrally located in the valley and so close to the mountains and recreation areas. The host is always available and amazing to work with.

I rented this place for my brother who was visiting because of the proximity to my house, and I am so glad I found this little gem. It was clean and comfortable and Marcel was amazing to work with. I am certain we will rent this place for visitors in the future.

My wife and I recently stayed here to attend a family wedding. It was the perfect location. Lots of shops, food, and highways right outside. I have read all the past reviews and everything that was previously mentioned, has been corrected, as we didn't have any issues or problems during our 3 night/4 day stay. The toilet didn't flush when we first got there, but I took the lid off and flushed it manually. Then it worked fine rest of our trip. A neighbor was smoking pot, which seeped into our room, but that was the only unpleasant item. The bed was not very comfortable, but we were gone most of the days we were there and so exhausted when we returned, that it didn't really bother us. Nevertheless, we will still give this a 5 star rating! We LOVED the vintage/retro touches! The unit was clean, quaint and homey. The owner lives nearby and was very accommodating. We had some simple small needs (extra toilet paper) and he was there in minutes. The owner did mention he plans on gutting and renovating the unit, so will be exciting to see all the new changes! We will definitely be back! Thank you for hosting us, Marcel! I still really want that sink!! :-)

Checking in process was a little hard but the host fixed it right away. Otherwise great stay and vrbo location, close to the call and food. only complaint is that the bed was not as soft as regular hotels.

The place was clean but the toilet drove us crazy. It only flushed right about 50% of the time. The owner said it was due to water pressure problems. When we arrived the bathtub was clogged so when we took a shower we had water up to our ankles. The owner did come by and was able to fix that. Mattresses quite uncomfortable

Marcel is a great host. Place is great and the location is wonderful. Quiet neighborhood yet close to lots of amenities. If you need to stay near Salt Lake City I would recommend it!

Meets the minimum requirements for a crash pad I suppose. House is actually 3 apartments and this being the bottom, floor noise from upstairs is significant. Check in information wasn't provided, I had to ask several times for check in information and waited outside for a half an hour after check in time before someone let us in and texted the information. Creaky bed, dilapidated old house that once was nice, now is a listless short term rental.

It served it's purpose of a skiers crash pad. Place was clean and functional. Kitchen was functional and saved us some $$ from going out. No windows to open so cannot really air out the place or enjoy the view of the mountains. There is a noisy fan in the living room that comes on from time to time because of the lack of windows. Laundry was a plus. Mattresses need to be replaced at some point. Host was great, friendly and accomodating.

This place has just the bare necessities, but that’s all you really need for a ski trip since ideally you’re spending more time outside! Great location - 30 minutes from the mountain and 15 minutes from downtown salt lake!

Marcel was unfailingly friendly, helpful and responsive. Woke up one morning after heavy overnight snow and the driveway was shoveled clean. The cottage was clean, well appointed and perfect for a father son ski week. Only small drawback was no dishwasher but the high end washer/dryer made up for it!

Great central location to everywhere!

Marcel is a great host and was so welcoming to both me and my dogs. I was visiting family for a month and it was right in between both families and so easy to get around. The only thing that was a bit of an annoyance was having a communal laundry room visible from the kitchen and I never could time it right to get my own laundry done. Other than that it was a pleasant stay! I have to say that Marcel was who made the stay most comfortable. It’s hard to overstate the importance of a great host!

This was a great place to stay for a visit to the Salt Lake area. I had to work while I was here and the wife connection was solid. Everything was clean, the beds were comfy, and the owner was really helpful and easy to communicate with. Overall it was a great experience.

We needed a place to stay for two weeks. Marcel's small home was perfect for us. He was available every time we had a question. He quickly took care of every need. The kitchen was quaint. I enjoy cooking our own healthy food, so I appreciated the roominess and availability of all that I needed. We had good internet service which allowed us to do the work we wanted to do. Thank you for giving us a place to stay.
